Ive eaten at Phonatic for years, however, yesterday was my first visit to the Round Rock location. Nice location. Nice size restaurant, nice atmosphere. I ordered a Brooklyn bowl, which I fully enjoyed. I recommend this location to anyone who enjoys Vietnamese food.

We have enjoyed the food here for a long time. We usually get the pork banh mi and the pork street tacos. Today, however the pork was very fatty and dry. Veggies were fresh and service excellent. Very disappointed in the quality of the meat now.

Husband was in the bathroom and saw a kitchen employee walk out without washing their hands. Absolutely disgusting. I guess we dropped $70 for 4 people on poo soup. We asked to tell the manager so they could correct this but the manager wouldn t even come out. I m wondering if he was the one who didn t wash his hands. Disgusting establishment.

Staying at Embassy. Order Uber eats. The rice was hard and old. I called the restaurant and asked if they could send fresh rice. The manager rudely said he was one of 2 people there and wouldnt come to the hotel. Were done.. never going there again. Besides the food isnt setting the world on fire.

If you are looking for some good pho noodles, this is the place to go. It can get a little pricey but it is worth the money because they dont skimp on ingredients and the bowls are large and full. I recommend the brooklyn bowl with an added fried egg on top. If you are first timer, please be aware if you order the round eye steak meat. I say this because I wasnt aware and they didnt inform me that they give you the steak meat rare and that you have to pour the hot broth over it to cook it. I almost died when I poured the raw meat onto my noodles.

This was our first time here at Pho*Natic it was ok but not too clean or nice. The restrooms are in the back past a very Nasty hall with trash and cleaning supplies, Not used. The restrooms have a bad odor. We did still try the Shrimp Spring Rolls and those were actually very Good. However my Shrimp Pho was not good at All. It was too salty and with Beef Broth, I dont like that at all. I prefer and have Always had it with Chicken Broth or Vegetable Broth. Way better. I wont try this here again. My husband had the *The Works Beef Pho* and that was actually very good. He loved it. It has a ton of different Beef in it. So that was worth it. They DONT HAVE ANY TYPE OF SEAFOOD PHO.

This was the best pho nearby but not sure whats going on here lately. Past 2 visits, the food is bland. I always get spicy van van noodles with chicken broth, pork eggrolls and tea. The broth was flavorless and no spice in the chili oil. Please check your ingredients and cooks!

I liked that place so I travel from austin to go there in round rock many times but this time was different because...I order veggie pho as always and tofu was staled. The first one I spitted it out and the second one I tried. I thought my mouth tasted funny but sure enough second one was staled also... I called the server and told him and he offered me the new bowl and I requested one without tofu. The second bowl I received was with old yellowish broccoli in the soup and the mushroom wasnt clean properly either... The end of stem part of mushroom was with black stuff stuck to it. Maybe the root part, I dont know. It didnt look good at all. And the finally a small day fly sat on my chop sticks that put on the bowl. I got the new chip sticks and I just ate some noodles and left... I guess today wasnt my day at all at that Phonatic...

I wanted to give all 5 times due to the friendly people who served me today. But after paying 25.00 for my pho and some spring rolls I wasnt sure I wanted to leave that many stars. The spring rolls were amazing I had the pork. The soup on the other hand was a little bland also while dining in I notice a major infestation of small nats flying around my soup at first I thought it was just 1 then realized looking around other peoples tables they were also fighting the nats. I lost my appetite I couldnt even stay and eat my soup.

This place quality has diminished drastically since I was first introduced to Pho 8 years ago by this specific location. I thought I would be in for a treat since I ve moved 25 miles away and husband was nearby, asked me what I wanted for dinner and I immediately said Phonatic! Welp never again. For one thing, they ve gotten rid of the Seafood Pho. Alternatively you can get 6 shrimp in the Shrimp Pho. Secondary I like my pho spicy and the only thing that s going to do that is the chili oil which I know was asked for 4-5 times. My family gets home with nothing but chili paste which is NOT CHILI OIL. Lastly the broth is not flavorful like it used to be and the limes were bitter nasty with barely any juice. Just all bad. Idk if I should give up on Phonatic in general or just this location which HAD sentimental significance to me. Not anymore, it s gone downhill.

I ordered the vegetable pho and vegetable spring rolls. My pho bowl was loaded!!! Definitely worth the $13!. However, the spring rolls only had lettuce, noodles and tofu in it. I was expecting more veggies in the roll minus the noodles. You have to ask for the fish sauce. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere was clean and relaxing. I will definitely go back!!!

We popped in to grab it to go . It came out very fast and they were very friendly. I got the grill bowl with glazed shrimp and my bf got the shrimp pho. Huge serving for my noodle bowl maybe a little more sauce would be good, it was still nice and very fresh. The containers they use for takeout are great! The seal perfectly since we had a bit of drive home.

I do want to mention that yesterday they missed the mark with one of the ingredients, on the Brooklyn they missed the peanuts. Ive eaten at Phonatic many times over the years; since they opened up in fact. They serve a reliably good bowl of Pho, and their spring rolls are also great. My kids love their sliders, too. Ive never had a bad experience with their staff. They are located in the shopping center by the HEB, near the movie theater. The atmosphere is pretty basic but not bad, nothing fancy. I think there may be some Pho places that are considered more authentic than Phonatic, but it hasnt stopped me from coming back, even after I moved away from the area. Phonatic is a solid choice for great Vietnamese food.

PhoNatic is a favorite of my whole family and a few of our visiting extended family. The employees and management are friendly and show great patience. We always order one order of street tacos (they are gigantic), the vegetarian egg rolls (our kid loves them) and a Large broth to drink later. PhoNatic helped quite a few families during the freeze of 2020 by allowing families to pay what they could for large family size meals. This place is great in every sense. Kid-friendliness: PhoNatic serve food with great flavor for kids. Steamed veggies with broth and hoisin sauce and lime. Also, my child loves the pickled carrots and dikon garnish.

Noodles were hard and stuck together in the Brooklyn bowl and pork was slightly undercooked! Rice with chicken bowl the rice wasn t cooked all the way. Egg rolls were ok at best. The whole place has a dirty bathroom smell we had to eat outside at that point. Compared to other locations this one will never come back to try your luck at the cedar park location. Also this place is way overpriced for the level of food and just overall cleanliness. Try other non franchise local locations you ll get more bang for your buck!

Usually the go to for spring rolls. Except, last time I was wanting to order them. A gentleman I hadn t seen before at front desk asked me, you don t want anything else on the menu, Because they didn t have any ready. I continued my order and asked if they could cook them and then he calls manager they start speaking in hush tones manager does the same thing I ask if I should just go somewhere else they tell me no biggie as they roll eye, and then tell me to wait 30 minutes for 6 rolls. I say okay I ll be right out front and almost an hour later I walk in and they re just sitting on the counter and the front desk guy has a huge smile on his face cause he knows they re cold and i waited a ridiculous amount of time, petty as all get out. The broth is pretty good. Their pho menu is limited. You can not substitute protiens but you can add one. they charge an additional $2 for the extra protien. Its pricey for good enough pho. the flank steak is over done because they let it sit in the broth too long before its served to you. Seating is a pain if theyre busy. Normal tables fill up quick and high tables are awkward to sit at if you have children with you and if somone else needs to move from their hugh table. Get the broth, take it home and make your own bowl of pho.

Forgetting to add the fish sauce to the Brooklyn bowl shows a poorly run and trained staff. The food is good but the poor service and inconsistent training and accountability of management is obviouse from the consists small mistakes. The food is great, and the price is very reasonable. Staff is friendly and the restaurant is very clean. But it feels a little to prefabricated, kinda of like an Applebees for Pho. Not a place I would go by myself to relax. But I do get take out pretty often as the food itself is great.

Love this place, the decor is really awesome and they had a ton of sauces to put on the table if you like things extra spicy. The staff was very polite and helpful. The food came out hot and delicious. Honestly ate way too much but it was worth it here. The best was probably the pho and all of their appetizers are amazing. This place went down the hill. First off, the soup was hot but the cashier was cold. The soup is like dish water, noodles were so overcooked, it falls apart. We ordered pork slider. It was soggy and water from pickled carrots was dripping. Also, smells like toilet inside. I Do not recommend this place.

The Great: Pho and Bánh mì. Cant go wrong with any of the variations of these. The Good: People. Always very courteous and helpful. The Bad: The building. It is defiantly time to renovate and fix some things here.

Super good food AND affordable!! I feel like this is a hidden gem! Hidden behind HEB! You could prob spend between $15-$20 on lunch or dinner AND you will probably have left overs for another day. Staff is also very friendly! This might be added to my after gym dinner routine!

Ordered a Bahn Mi sandwich. It was so soggy with old soggy shredded carrots and cucumbers (not julienne slices) that I had to take off the veggies and other half of bun just to eat it.

This place smells like a bathroom, every time I go. They charge for everything. Its okay...definitely not the best Pho around, though. And of course, they ask for a tip...for giving you your food.

I have been going to Phonatic for quite some time (all 3 austin locations) and have found that their Round Rock is superior. They have great staff, great food and it is in a great location. Their Springs Rolls are hit or miss depending on the staffs experience in rolling, but their Pho is always spot on.

One of the best places to eat Vietnamese food (that I ve ever had)! We appreciated how quick the service was and the location has a good amount of seating. The price point was great and they give bountiful amounts of food. Will definitely come back next time I m in the area.

This is an awesome fast food atmosphere that delivers good size portions of fresh delicious food. All vegetables were fresh, the marinated meats oh so flavorful, and its very affordable. The order taker was so personable and nice. Id give it 5 stars except bottles of sauces were not very sanitary looking. They were all grouped together by the soda area and they looked rather sticky with openings gooped up. They were not full so it made me wonder how old bottle contents were?Just could use improvement in that area. I get it though, help is hard to get. Food and service wonderful! Restaurant & tables were tidy.

Haley was the sweetest and most informative employee. She greeted my daughter and I and took the time to thoroughly explain items on the menu since it was our first time. The vegetarian pho was delicious and you get a good portion for the cost.

I was really looking forward to a nice better than warm bowl of flavorful pho. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. The broth was watered down, hardly any flavor at all. The pho was served tepid at best. I noticed this issue the last time I was here so was hoping for an improvement. Just not the same when it first opened with the management at that time. Staff was nice. Im such a soup/pho lover...I was coming 1-2 times a week before...sad that it has become this.
