This has always been my favorite sandwich shop, but today my turkey/provolone medium sub was greatly scrimped on. Usually, there are two or three healthy sized slices of fresh tomato, enough sliced black olives to cover the bottom half of bun, and enough melted provolone to taste with generous mayonnaise. Not today, maybe 1/3 portions of these ingredients. The smoked turkey was less, but just right. In the past, the amount of turkey was overly generous. Consequently, I ended up with bite-fuls of more bread than ingredients. Was really disappointed because I dont eat out that often. I will probably give it one more go, but if the same experience happens, I wont go back. The people there are really nice and the place is clean.

Our first time at this location. We went at a quiet time so no waiting. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had the cheese steak and the meat was overflowing the bun. Thats a good thing. The highlight was the selection at the fountain soda dispenser. Over 100 different options. I settled on the vanilla Coke and was glad I did. We will be stopping by again!

Not as good as it used to be. Very messy work station, the employees looked like they had no clue what was going on and a few of them looked bored out of their minds. I don t eat out often, but my stomach did not agree with that sandwich. The Cajun chicken did taste good, but it seems like y all have an issue with training and management at this location. Perhaps another briefing on food safety and customer service?

I have to add this place to the list of restaurants that have gone downhill over the past few years. The food used to be very fresh, tasty, and the staff were always quite friendly. But unfortunately they are now the opposite. Everything is still quite pricey and the food quality freshness and service are not at the level they should be. And at the end of the day money is money and if something is simply not worth it I wont be going back anytime soon.

Placed a mobile order online and my food came out wrong and so did my wifes food. She had tuna and half of her sandwich was tuna other half had pepperoni. Clearly some else order or they were on drugs not paying attention. My order is one of thr simplest you can order which was Italian sub, pepper jack cheese and jalapeños.... nothing else. Yet I had everything from bacon, dressing, tomatoes, onions, bell peppers, black olives. If anything your making your job harder putting extra stuff on there vs following what I ordered. Staff was rude when I presented the incorrectly made sandwich to them. You can not call the location at 6pm CT. Because phone goes to no voicemail set up.

I ve been going to this Firehouse for the past 4 months at least 2x maybe 3x a month. I have yet to get a bad sandwich! I mean I order the same thing every time the Turkey Bacon Ranch on wheat. It really boggles my mind that they are so consistently good! There is a closer location to me at Burnet Road but this Round Rock location is my favorite. 2022-Oct Superb app! Easy to customize and order exactly what you want and how you want. Quick pickup spot just inside the door. But I ordered without ANY onions fresh nor grilled. And it came with plenty of grilled o ions, probably because I asked for grilled green peppers (as shown on order). Friendly helpful staff on the phone offered to remake the sandwich, just call ahead. Called ahead. No problem. Clearly specified no onions but add grilled green peppers. No problem. Went in to pick it up, don t have it. Hmmm? Nope, not here. Oh! Phone order, not internet? Go stand in the long order line to pick up. In what world does that make sense? Just hand me the darn sandwich wherever it is already! Nope. Stood in line about four minutes. Got sandwich. Took home. No grilled sweet peppers. But guess what? Grilled onions. Arghhhh. Once again it s correct on the order ticket attached to the bag, just not correct on the sandwich where it counts. I m not calling this back in to have it re-remade. I m not even sure they would believe me. Even if they did it s not like I could swoop in and pick it up, I d have to wait in line forever.

This location is one of the best ibhave ever been to. The staff has customer care at heart. I have never had any issues with my food order here. This is the only location that has I have been too and always had a good selection of chips. I also really like the multiple choices of sodas. They don t pay attention to orders. I had a pick up order that I placed to pick up via Uber eats and when I got there- FIRST they said they never got it, and it didn t exist. There was a super rude and grouchy older lady with glasses who looked like she didn t even want to be there .she said oh, well it looks like the Uber picked it up. I m thinking-Ok? I am the Uber ? Did you even ask for the name before you just let someone else take my order? She clearly didn t care, shrugged her shoulders then continued on rolling sandwiches. It was just so inconvenient because now I had to wait another additional 20 minutes to re-place my order. Anyways this is is more of a customer service review, and to top it all off she asked me if I wanted my pickle on the side for both combos and I said yes, but when I got home there was no pickle to be found. So check your order if your pickle is really important to you because it is to me lol. Why ask and then forget, and why give away other peoples order and not pay attention.

Came in for T-mobile Tuesdays special that gave a free Italian sub with any purchase! To be helped by the manager and be treated rudely was enough for me not to come back! She was rushing me to order, kept telling me she needed to see my phone although the phone was sitting on the counter since she told me the last 3 times what needed to be done smh Goodness! Very poor customer service. Second time going to this location and both times an extremely rude older lady has taken our order. This time we came in and there was no one else in line or sitting. We took a moment to decide what we wanted and she got annoyed at how long we were talking (less than 2 minutes for two people) and that we asked how much items costed. She tapped her fingers loudly on the counter and huffed and puffed the entire time. The sandwich was really good which is a shame because we would like to go back but don t want to be treated that way again by that lady.

I really fell in love with Firehouse subs after recently moving here. Ive eaten at this location a bunch. However, I was in the restaurant earlier today and I noticed a dead upside down roach on the floor near the counter. I had meant to advise the lovely staff about it but I was running short on time for work. I write this not to bash, but to alert the restaurant as well as customers to this issue and I hope Firehouse can alert pest control. When theres one roach, theres almost certainly more. Especially if they are roaming in broad daylight. If I see another next time Im in the restaurant, Ill probably be avoiding this location. We were next door at Disc tire and thought we would give this place a try. We loved it, so much that my husband was going there 2 a week. UNTIL last week. We went in a stood in line, right before our turn in walks a highschooler goes straight to the regs, clickin, then his too the back. Later he comes back w an apron pulling threads off of it and throwing it in the floor. Not the trash can the floor. He goes straight and starts touching the bread. Big sign behind the regs All Employees wash Your hands! But he didnt. We finally make it to the regs. I asked the lady if she is the manager and she said yes. I tell her about it. Firehouse is the most consistent of all the sub joints. It takes a bit longer to get and costs a bit more but it is worth it. I generally get the Meatball or the Club on a Sub. Both are always good. Order ahead on the app and have it ready on arrival.

If you want a sandwich made correctly the first time don t come here. They couldn t get my very basic sandwich right if I went behind the counter and did it first. You could show them exactly what you want and they ll still find some incredible way to get it wrong. Don t waste your time & money.

Workers were moving slow, there wasnt many people in the restaurant, I waited almost 15 minutes for them to make sub. Waited 5 just for them to take my order when i was the only one in line. One customer who was in the store before me was still waiting on his order when he was told they put it on the rack w/out calling his name to let him know his order was ready. I was a disappointed with the jamaican jerk turkey sub I ordered. It just didnt have the jerk taste or kick. It just tasted like a regular turkey sub. The mac & cheese was blah.

Delicious! Havent been to a Firehouse Subs in over a year since I discovered I cant handle gluten, but now theyre offering gluten free Scharrs bread. Thanks for making the yumminess of your hook and ladder sub available to me again!
