I swear I would never go there again but I unfortunately did so. Ordered the Cadillac burger which was drenched in some sauce that made the buns mushing and nearly impossible to eat without getting all that sauce all over your hands, all I could taste was the sauce. I finally tossed the wet buns to the side and just ate the burger meat. The fries were no better and cut so small you couldn t hold them. If you want a real Austin authentic old school burger then go to Dans Hamburgers which has been in Austin since 1973. Skip those soggy over priced burgers there!

$71 for 2 people... I got a thin ahi tuna on some grass and my wife got a run of the mill burger... I ordered a beer that came halfway through my meal and got a halfway apology from the bartender.... The fries were good but that was it... The staff seemed miserable and if Im paying that kinda money for 2 people an actual server would be nice... Might wanna rethink that concept a bit... Wont be back...

Hopdoddys have very good burgers and several different variety of fries. The truffle fries & sweet potato fries are delicious. I love swapping out the fries for the roasted Parmesan & truffle crispy Brussels sprout leaves. You can also get sliders, milkshakes & cocktails here. I was dinning in with my two sons when staff asked us to move to another table. We accidentally sat you at the wrong table. We picked up our food and blindly followed the server to a table for 7-8 with a partitioner that was supposed to somehow bring privacy between my family and the three adults sitting at the same table. We were so close, I could hear every word. This was an average table where we were sitting 18 from my shoulder. They were not to have us join them either. How embarrassing! I looked around and saw sever tables available. So I called the server and explained that I didn t realize we would be moved to a table already occupied. And when I asked we return to our table, the server, a woman in early 20s, refused and said it would cause problems with the family of 4 she wanted to seat at our table. I assured her she and her staff would find a solution and insisted. She pouted, rolled eyes, and grumble as she move us back to our previous table. What a joyful experience it was. I can t wait to come back and pay $75 for 3 burgers. NOT!!! and of course it s not a racial thing but I wonder id we were white, would this fly?

I pulled up to try the Smashburger and stayed for the purple Reign and Brussels sprouts. Im going to rate the burger a solid 7. I like a bit more smash and caramelization on my Smashburger. The onion bun is taking over the show a bit. Its the first thing you taste.

EAT HERE! Came out to Round Rock, Texas, for training that Im attending all week. Snuck into this gem of a burger joint and was very pleasantly surprised. Went with their Cadillac Wagyu burger with fries... Wow... The burger was perfectly seasoned, and it was a great flavor without the overpowering seasonings. I dont know what sauce they have on there, but it pops with some great flavor. Everything tasted fresh and so good. Even the bun for the burger was perfectly balanced for the meat ratio. If you are near this place, swing in and grab a burger. The cost is comparable to other Gourmet Burger places. I wish I had one of these places back home. The service was set up like fast food, ordering your food, and waiting to be called. However, a worker comes over and brings your food to you and is very polite. They have a full-size bar there also. I want to be able to partake in drinks today, maybe next time. The atmosphere was a little different, had a fast food, bar, kitchen view, and even a BUTCHER view! You are able to see them process the meat for the burgers right there. 5 out of 5 stars across the board for me. Top burger place for me right now.

So we ordered last night for DoorDash. Delivery ordered 2 burgers and truffle fries, but got truffle Brussels Instead. paid over $65 and didnt realize when we ordered my burger It was $17 because I let my daughter Order for me. I just told her what I wanted. when we got the food My paddy melt was half the size of a Whataburger, which only costs $8, they are way overpriced, and the food was not very good. Fantastic! Been coming to Hopdoddy for many years, and they have just continue to up the service, the atmosphere, and the vibes. They are using regenerative sources of meat, like for their bison. They always have new original ideas for the burgers, and are just friendly people in general. The truffle 50 is a killer, and even have some burgers that help you donate to a good cause, like the Good Night (make it a double!)! Do yourself a favor and stop on by!

Food is very bad at this place. Ordered a gluten free veg burger, with tip it costed 17 dollars, brought the burger home and when I took a bite, the burger patty was not cooked, it was very hard. I am never eating here. Full Disclosure - they refunded my $17.. I went to chick fil an after that. My burger costed $6. Its a handmade burger + pub, with a great atmosphere and good taste. Many local families came, and pets were also allowed to enter. -Basic burger $15: The pork is soft and moist and the patty is good!! -The fries are thin and served in a style or bowl, so there is quite a portion. -Spicy(?)burgers like El Diablo are quite spicy. (Not for kids) The tip is between $16 and $20, and be prepared to wait 20 to 30 minutes during holiday lunch hours.

Didn t tell prior guests they were splitting a table and they sent me to share with them. So I as a customer had to manage the situation. Not even the metal partition was set up before I got there. They did not specify if I was A or B side of the table leading to more confusion. Kick the folks out that are sitting watching the Olympics during the full lunch time. Don t use that as an excuse to not do more to fix the table situation for the future. It s always bad here so be ready. Also employees shouldn t verbally cut off customers who are ordering from other employees.

I recently visited this restaurant that offers burgers, drinks and salads, and unfortunately my experience was not the best. Although it used to be one of my favorite places, it seems things have changed. Previously, the burgers had a distinctive and delicious flavor, but on my last visit I noticed that they no longer have the original flavor that I liked so much. The Caesar salad was extremely salty, which made it difficult to enjoy. The combination of flavors was not well balanced, and the excess salt ruined the dish. Despite the issues with the food, the service was pretty good. The waiters were attentive and friendly, which is a positive point for the place. In short, although the service is still quality, the food has declined considerably. I do not plan to return to this restaurant as the overall experience does not justify another visit.

I used to give 5 stars to this place! But recently something changed ... 2 times in the last month they were simply forgot my order! And I have to wait for 35 minutes at the table and go to remind them a couple of times! People who came after me were getting their food and when I told the waiter he just went to the cashier to check and never gets back! After 5 minutes I had to go again and talk to another waitress to figure out that they didnt even start my order yet! The staff their were unprofessional at all and after all of that my son and I got the classic burger very dry and the freis cold !! We sat there at an empty table for 35 minutes and no one from the staff noticed or cared to ask ... the new faces really need training.

The atmosphere and the service were very good. I was disappointed in the food though. I had the Diablo burger, which was not too bad, but failed to live up to my expectations of a spicy burger. The fries were nothing special. My son had a classic burger and was completely unhappy with it. He said the mustard on his burger was nasty. I really dont like to leave unfavorable reviews, but I really was not impressed. Overall...not as good as Whataburger...but much better than Sonic.

Place was great. I had the classic burger and truffle fries. Tasted amazing. Only down side was there was a little hair on the side of my tray, it wasnt on the burger it self so I still ate. ( Dont judge me please ) Overall this place great. The birds on the patio are brave. be ware.

This was our first time eating here and we were pleased with the food and the atmosphere. They have a great offering of burgers and bowls that are head and shoulders above your typical burger place. We were able to get our burgers without the bun and instead in a bowl of Brussel sprout leaves! I ve never heard of that before so of course I tried it. It was more than I could eat but I was greedy and did what we big guys do My wife couldn t finish hers and was only able to eat about half. We ordered the nacho fries which were really good and were enough to share. That didn t get finished either as much as I hate wasting food and/or money I have zero complete about this place and was happy to find out there s one in Houston! Needless to say we ll be heading back real soon to try some more of those specialty burgers
