Lack of consistency. Dan Dan was my favorite. Now, i try making it at home. I gave feedback a few weeks ago, when i placed an order with several items. Owner called, offered free dish to make it right (a redo of the dan dan from a previous order. Only received dan dan broth and a ramekin of black vinegar. Stopped in this past week. No black vinegar and barely enough broth to cover the noodles.

Food is good however: -Sushi Portions are small for the price -Soup is not hot (they were not stingy on the toppings so I liked that) -pricing is inaccurate so double check your receipts!! They incorrectly charged for 2 items! Didn t nickel and dime for sauce & sweet potatoes noodles so I m happy about that a pet peeve of mine when restaurants do it esp without communication! Although they try to charge .70 for less sweet tea since it requires more milk LMAO so maybe they did nickel and dime me after all!

Best sushi in the area! Whether you dine in or take out, the food is always fantastic and the staff is always welcoming and kind. I always get the Philly and Aki rolls, my son gets the Shrimp Tempura roll and my husband gets the General Tsos with fried rice and we ll never go anywhere else.

Never had a problem before. Love their rice and we would ALWAYS order a tray and would talk wonders of this place to friends! Today when we placed and order we were informed that they no longer do the tray which ok we understood there for we ordered 2 orange chicken which we were told came with rice, and in top of it we ordered 3 more sides of rice. Before we ended the call we were told that it was fifty something, when I got there I was informed that it was $88 dollars for 2 orders of orange chicken and 3 sides of rice, apparently we were getting a discount. I told them that when we places the order we were told something different to which I was just told he took the order, he doesn t know very disappointed!

The food was alright, they sent us the wrong order by mistake and corrected it when we mentioned it. I think they did their best but the service was definitely lacking which overall impacted the experience. Nothing we ate was jaw dropping, everything was pretty subpar but was aesthetically pleasing. The Thai tea tasted like it was from a packet, not the usual tea + milk/cream. I probably wont return to this location and it wouldnt be on my list of recommendations.

Weve been here as well as ordered take out several times. Delicious food most of the time. This time we tried the shrimp and cream cheese puff appetizer and my son found a glob of what looks to be glue. Edit: Manager contacted me quickly and they located the source of the glue. They credited me back the money for the cheese puff and apologized. Apparently it happened because of repairs for another issue. Regardless, we will certainly give them another shot.

Review updated, the original review My wife and I eat at Kura a lot and tried this place since it s within biking distance. This place was amazing. Keiron R. Was really chill. We ended up ordering more food then we expected due to sizes being larger then what we expected elsewhere. The alcoholic beverages were really good as well. Over all a great experience and we will DEFINITELY be coming back and with friends. Edit: since coming back multiple times, the original love for this place has wavered, the food is amazing; don t get me wrong, but the service is awful each time we ve been and not had the above person who I don t think works there any longer since we stopped seeing them. One annoyance food/drink wise was when I ordered pu-erh, they made it wrong and charged way too much for the type of service received. The person serving it had to ask me, the customer, what pu-erh was. Oh is that how it s pronounced? Made me terrified to order it and my experience matched my fears. I can t even get to tell you if it was good or bad pu-erh because she some how made the pu-erh taste watered down and light, closer to a green tea. I can t remember the cost more but I remember it was way more than if I went to West China Tea House. One of the times we simply walked out because after 30 mins waiting in an essential empty restaurant just to order drinks and that s not the first time we thought about it. We had a prior time where it took them 30 mins even though we ordered from in the app, thankfully we ordered our food too but we got our food and drinks at the same time. There was one time we got sat next to two louder people some awful things about eradicating entire sectors of the population due to characteristics that they are born with. The restaurant was empty; why are we sat right next to the only other party in the whole building. I don t think they ever have a bus boy, we will enter and by time we are ready to leave there are still plates on the table that were there when we entered. We was drawn in originally because of the anime too but every time we ve been it has only been jojo or hunter x hunter; shows with some gore, not necessarily the best for eating. We ve been here like 10+ times at different times and days of the week too, so it s not just a coincidence at that point. We want to love this place because the food is good but the prices are inconvenient sometimes because sometimes they are slightly cheaper than other places but sometimes they are way more expensive comparatively; so, you never know if you re getting a good deal. The service is essentially non existent and they seem to focus out the door orders over the in building orders.

My entire family loves Xian and even all the friends we introduced to it. Our favorite dish is the spicy wontons! They have homemade noodles, very good happy hour specials and an amazing tempura fried ice cream! Parking: Limited parking in front of restaurant but plenty available at the back of building. My new favorite spot! Prices were very good for the quality of food. Nothing was disappointing. The dim sum soup dumplings really hit the spot. The sushi was very fresh and melt in your mouth. I always order chirashi when I try new places. The amount of sushi was excellent and very thick cuts of fish (at least 1/4 thick). I was sold instantly on the atmosphere as they had a giant Naruto poster in the front and anime playing on one of the TVs. My weeb heart is so happy.

We dined in at the restaurant on a Friday night and ordered the hot sake, bao tofu, fried noodles and Dan Dan noodles. The bao tofu was very average and too sweet for my taste. The fried noodle with chicken was good but lacked seasoning, and adding soy sauce made it edible. The Dan Dan noodle tasted very Italian with pesto, spaghetti noodle and did not have much Asian flavor. The hot sake was may favorite part of the meal. Service was also very average. We never got sharing plates for the appetizers and nor did the server ask about type of noodle we wanted on our food. I have eaten several times at the sister restaurant in Domain. The service and food quality there is really good, and the Dan Dan has a nice kick to it. This restaurant needs to make several adjustments to their food and stick to Asian flavors instead of catering to American taste buds. Additionally, there were flies inside the restaurant as seen in the photo.

I was looking for ramen for my birthday dinner and tried this place. Holy wow, Im glad I did. The sashimi was some of the best Ive had in so long, super fresh and yummy. Horrible service! Front person was so cold toward us. From the start it felt weird. We ordered a couple of dishes and it was all a fail aside from the vegetable spring rolls. We also ordered a cucumber salad that had hair in it. I m just so upset we spent $43 on food we didn t eat. This place used to be really good. The food is not the same. Ordered pick up and it was awful. The noodles smelled bad and looked like spaghetti with maybe some soy sauce. Dont even look like there is sauce on the noodles. Since they smelled awful we didnt eat it. The fried rice was yellow rice with veggies. Edit for XIAN we had a bento box with ramen plus a miso. The broth to the ramen tasted off and the miso tasted funny too almost chemically. We frequently go here to dine in and also DD from this place often but after last night it will be the last. My family got food poisoning last night after ordering DD from here. Out of 7 people only 2 family members who didn t eat the food were the only ones not vomiting after dinner. No one was sick prior to eating from here. It was definitely the food. I use to love this place but after everyone having toilet issues and vomiting after well into the middle of the night it is the last time we will be getting food from here.

We ordered a Tonkatsu Ramen with spaghetti noodles and pork belly, Spicy Chicken Ramen with Pappardelle noodles, and Thai Tea with the brown sugar boba. Is it the best ramen we ve had? No, but it was still quite decent. The pork belly was over cooked and dry and the narutomaki was harder than the other ones I ve had. The soy sauce egg was great- it had a subtle sweetness to it- I should ve ordered another one. Good portions, and it was beautifully plated for a to-go order. (The order was just packed really well overall and had nice containers). The spicy chicken ramen wasn t super spicy (about hot Cheetos level). The Thai Tea, like the ramen, wasn t the best I ve had, but still pretty good. The brown sugar boba being the crystal boba was a nice surprise since that s the kind I usually prefer anyway. No rating for atmosphere since we ordered for delivery. I d love to come eat in person, (maybe during the cosplay promos ( ´ ` ) , since there s more variety at the restaurant itself.

Do not go for their noodle dishes. I got the Dandan noodles and my friend got their tonkatsu ramen and both were low tier in terms of both taste and quality of ingredients. Sushi rolls and sashimi were average, with their spicy tuna being delicious. If you like Americanized Japanese foods that have been bastardized, this is your place.

Xian Sushi and Noodles at Mueller is amazing. I wish I could give it 10 stars! The restaurant has a very comfortable and laid back atmosphere. The wait staff is super attentive. The general manger himself even goes out and and serves tables himself. Now, let s talk about the food. Everything is delicious! The appetizers, the noodles, the sushi, the desserts- are all wonderful! Everything is so good, I ate there 2 nights in a row - 1st with a friend and then with my daughter. Both nights were great! Theyre current in a soft opening so not all of the menu is available, but Ive been super pleased with the Spicy Miso ramen and the Creamy Veggie Noodle Soup! My friends got an assortment of food including the Bento box (the best shes ever had + HUGE portions) and the Tempura Cheesecake. Amaaaaazing. :) Im so happy that this Noodle Dream location is here!

What stands out to me is how high quality and fresh the ingredients are. We ordered sushi and the General Tsos chicken. Both were excellent. The fish in the sushi was extra fresh and the GS chicken was all white and super fresh breading and sauce. I wasnt expecting it because thats not usually the case at similar restaurants suck as PF Chang. Xian is much better.

Terrible grumpy service. Dont order anything off the sailor moon menu, they really dropped the ball. Have a description of one thing and bring you another and have a bad attitude when you ask questions. Kids were so disappointed.

Nice on the inside. Seated by who I believe is the bartender, hostess and waiter. Order handmade dumplings for $8 which came out quite fast but looked like its from a frozen bag at a grocery store. We got six nibble sized pieces plated on well used dishes. My noodle soup garnished with sprouts on its last leg. Tasted sour. Char shu looked dry in the broth. My cocktail taste like a Mikes hard mixed cocktails. Wife was nicer, one of the worst meal shes had here They def did not show they are a restaurant that cares about food.

Very tasty food; the service was quite well, and there are a variety of things to choose from the menu. The atmosphere was very pleasant, with a beautiful mural. We ordered the bento box, and we were surprised with the amount of food we got. The General chicken had a great taste to it. The only complaint I have is the time that it takes to receive your food, with a wait of about 30 minutes. Parking: Not much parking and you might have to park to the side of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is very much wheelchair accessible.

If you have any gluten allergies, this is NOT the place for you. We went last week and ordered take out. There is an option for gluten free noodles, which they were (konjak noodles I believe). HOWEVER, the broth at least on the tonkotsu ramen was NOT gluten free and theres no indication on the menu, not did the person on the phone say so when we inquired. My husband been violently ill for the last week. The fact that we had zero indication despite asking and no warning on the menu makes this an automatic one star for me. First time going there..and my family ordered appetizers & sushi l ordered teriyaki chicken their sushi came out my sisters was ok nothing to write home about and my order comes out about 5 to 7 minutes later and it didnt look appetizing so l go to eat my chicken was under cooked..thank you for apologizing..but l will not be back if l want good sushi l will go somewhere else in Round Rock like SUSHI NiNi!!..

For the cost, the meal was disappointing. 27 dollars for a ramen soup with very little ingredients (unless you pay extra, quite a bit extra at that). I mean, really, pretty much 30 dollars for a cheap bowl of ramen soup for one person with no extras added is crazy. This is the second time I have been disappointed by this place. Last time, they got me for 55 dollars for a single low ingredient ramen even after paying for extra. If you like to pretent or act rich, this may be a place for you. But for the common folk, way too pricey for what they give you.

The place is nice, for the price its not too bad but overall I dont think Id go back. The sushi was about equivalent to grocery store sushi, so not bad when you want it but not what you want when going to a sit down restaurant. Staff was polite and nice. The last time I came here I got the Naruto Ramen and the Soup Dumplings. While the food is good, I ended up with terrible food poisoning just hours later. We waited over 20 minutes for anyone to come to our table to even just take a drink order, and weve had similar experiences most of the time we came here.
