This place was very chill and I regret not bringing my laptop to work while eating. Im in Round Rock for a conference so I grabbed takeout as I was tired of hotel food at Kalahari across the street. Misaki should have been much busier based on how good the food and tea were. I ordered the R2. Black Sauce Ramen along with a Taro Boba tea. This was one of the best Boba teas Ive ever had with less ice making it less watered down. The eggs in the Ramen were cooked perfectly and the pork belly was extremely flavorful - you can see the char marks in the pics. This was also very filling and I barely finished it all! Lastly, my pics dont do it justice, but I got it to go so you can see how they prepare it separately so its fresher when you get home.

SPANISH BELOW I give it a 9 out of 10, from the moment you walk through the door the waitresses welcome you, invite you to sit down and immediately bring glasses of water to your table along with the menu, my husband ordered a Spacy Miso Ramen with pork and I ordered a beef one, good flavor in general, the portions were quite large, the passion fruit tea was very tasty and I usually dont like any tea but I do recommend this one, prices very reasonable, the atmosphere was very relaxed and the place was very clean, including the bathrooms. Has been a while that I havent been able to find a good ramen spot in Austin area and this place exceeded my expectations not only because of the food but the service was spectacular! Our waiter was so polite, checking with us if we need anything (without being overwhelmed), another plus... they have Boba tea! And the decor was cozy, food was legit! I definitely coming back.

If white-wash is what you like, this place is definitely for you. I wouldnt recommend it though. Its soooo over priced. I asked for chili oil and I was brought a spoon of Sriracha then i was SECRETLY charged $1.50 for it. They didnt say it would cost extra. The sever didnt know anything about the food on the menu, never went around to check on anyone at any table. For seafood udon which had 3 clams, 2 baby tentacles, and 1 mussel (which they didnt even put I had to ask for it) and 1 vegetables ramen was $42. For that I could have also got a sushi roll at a ramen and sushi bar. I wont be ever going back.

Waiter was trying too hard to be nice and accommodating but came out as overly obsequious and cant fix the fact that the place just isnt good. Cross the street and get good food at Blue Corn.

** Update: July 2024 ** The original shutdown some time during COVID... and I truly missed not having a great ramen spot in the Round Rock area. After I relearned of their reopening, I immediately made my way out there. I can say that the food, service and atmosphere were all the same! I just wish they were a little closer to me, but certainly worth the 10-15 minute drive to get there! Great ramen! Its not Tatsuya, but the ramen here is incredible ( try the spicy miso ). Some of the other dishes Ive tried havent disappointed either. Everyone is very friendly each time we visit and the pricing is very fair. Definitely worth a visit and youre craving ramen! Its a great alternative to Austin traffic and the long wait youll experience at other spots in Austin.

Misaki Ramen was a fantastic eating experience that I just had the pleasure of experiencing! I entered and was greeted by a friendly and cozy atmosphere right away. With its warm but modern atmosphere, its the ideal place for both important events and informal lunches. There are many different ramen selections on the menu, each bursting with distinct tastes. The Spicy Miso Ramen was my choice, and it was excellent. The noodles were cooked to perfection, the broth was tasty and creamy, and there were enough of fresh toppings. The perfect amount of spiciness was added to the dish without dominating the other tastes. The level of service was flawless. The personnel was kind, informed, and available to address any concerns or provide suggestions.

Our recent visit to a this restaurant was truly delightful. The staff members displayed exceptional kindness and hospitality throughout our meal. One particular worker engaged in a lengthy conversation with my boyfriend, sharing insights about life and even offered a generous 20% discount on our bill. Such acts of kindness are truly commendable and add a special touch to the dining experience. Its fascinating how individuals in the food industry can create unique encounters for their customers. Each persons encounter with a restaurant can differ significantly, influenced by various factors such as service quality, ambiance, and of course, the food itself. In this case, the staffs genuine care for the well-being of their patrons was evident, enhancing our overall enjoyment of the meal. Despite the positive aspects of our visit, its worth noting that I didnt detect any specific smells during our time at the restaurant. Interestingly, my boyfriend shared the same observation, highlighting the absence of any noticeable odors. Nevertheless, the exceptional service and delectable food more than made up for any minor oversights. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try to experience the warm hospitality, delicious cuisine, and memorable interactions firsthand. Your dining experience may vary, but embracing new culinary adventures is always a rewarding endeavor.

wanted to try the new 1000+ reviewed ramen shop behind our house that we never noticed immediately understood that it s moved from dell hq surroundings, 1000+ reviews made sense, not sure how could that happen. but, still waiting to checkout 1000+ 4* reviews food( no sushi or bento, like in pictures) chicken wings with recommended seasoning (we asked), 4 pieces for three people, left one untouched chicken karooge or something (popcorn chicken) never ordering that thing ever in my life anywhere else(got mayo + ranch, homemade sauce , thay had only one sauce) now the highlight of the dinner, 19$+ ramen, priced like tatsu-ya, toughest chicken we ever had, left after chewing for few minutes. noodles in cuppa ramen were better than this, and the soup, the only good thing about the entire food is, they were hot, not a big win for dine-in anywhere. ended the dinner with untouched ramen(three chicken pieces were chewed and spit out), one untouched chicken wing( we were hungry, so ate one each ), oil fried chicken(oil is secondary ingredient) best part, when we asked for check, the person looked at our untouched bowls, asked if we want togo containers, and when we said no, walked away to get check as if this happens all the time and my friend complained about smell(seems so many others had same concern)

Updated review... Found out that Misaki moved locations and was terribly disappointed after our visit today. Went with another couple and our kiddo. The service has declined badly. We ordered, got our food, and basically got no other service otherwise. Food was coming out before the entire table even finished ordering. Chashu bowl was terrible... Only tasted of black pepper and nothing else. Tried to switch dishes to the beef bulgogi bowl, which was fine. Still got charged for the dish we didnt like. Basic tonkotsu ramen lost its richness and depth of flavor since the old location. Super bland. Added some corn and the corn ended up overpowering the flavor of the broth. Why? Cuz the broth basically had no flavor. Old review: Stand aside, Tatsuya... theres a new ramen place in town! That can *actually* compete with the ones we know and love. First bonus, no line. It seems like this place is still a secret gem in Round Rock that no one has discovered. Place seems empty, but teeming with take out orders... they must have a pretty good stream of business to keep the food this fresh and clean. Tempura was excellent... oil tasted clean and veggies still had a crunch to them. Ramen broth was spot on... excellent fat droplets, salt level, and developed pork flavor. The chashu needs a little more rendering but the grilled flavor really adds depth to the flavor. They have the usual suspects in terms of toppings and a diverse offering of Japanese and Korean plates. Second time here and its been very consistent. Looking forward to this being our go-to spot for Japanese fare.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Misaki Ramen, and it was nothing short of a delightful experience! The warm and welcoming staff immediately set the tone for an enjoyable evening. We kicked off our culinary adventure with the salt and pepper chicken wings a crunchy and flavorful start that left our taste buds dancing that we had to order another. When it came time to order the main course, my friend opted for the Spicy Miso Ramen, a tantalizing blend of Tonkotsu broth, home-made pork belly, ajitama, nori, bean sprouts, and menma. The vibrant combination of these ingredients created a symphony of flavors that truly satisfied the palate. As for me, I couldnt resist the allure of the Black Sauce Ramen. The rich Tonkotsu broth infused with home-made black garlic oil was a stroke of genius. Paired with succulent home-made pork belly, ajitama, nori, wood-ear mushrooms, and garnished with green onions and fried minced garlic, it was an absolute masterpiece. The attention to detail and commitment to using high-quality ingredients shone through in every bite. The fusion of flavors in both ramen bowls was nothing short of a culinary revelation. The staff and ownerships warmth and friendliness added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. Misaki Ramen is a haven for ramen enthusiasts, and I cant recommend it enough if you re in the Hutto area. If youre looking for a place that seamlessly blends welcoming hospitality with a menu that satisfies your cravings, this is the spot to be. Prepare to be inspired by the delightful concoctions they serve its a culinary journey you wont soon forget!

While dining at a restaurant, I had a very distressing experience with my meal, Bulgogi Don. I bit into a braided metal piece about 1-2 cm long that was mixed in with my food. Completely caught off guard, I ended up chipping a molar because of it. What made the situation worse was the restaurant managements lackluster response. The manager seemed to dodge the issue, making me ask the waitress three times before he reluctantly spoke with me. His attitude was really disappointing; he seemed more suspicious of me than concerned, and flat out refused to give me the owner s contact info. Right after, I had to rush to a dental clinic. The dentist said the chip was serious enough to need a filling. The whole ordeal, including a numbing procedure, set me back $400.00. I tried explaining to the restaurant that the metal piece must have come from their kitchen. I even asked them to check their CCTV to back up my story. All I got in return were assurances about their kitchens cleanliness, but no commitment to help with the dental bill. Its frustrating how they just brushed off their responsibility in this.

Ordered ahead and paid before arrival. We arrived at p.u time and the lady told us at least another 15 minutes. So we waited another 10 in the car and went back in to check. No one acknowledged or greeted me (my first time inside) and I stood there until someone approached the counter. The lady said for pick up?, and I responded yes. Told her my name and she said oh OK and walked away without an update on our order. I waited a few more minutes and another young lady came up qnd said for Chrystal? To which I said yes and grabbed the bag and said thank you. The young lady, hesitantly but kindly asked if I had already paid. I responded yes. I paid before we arrived. She asked to see my receipt, as she was informed that i had not paid. As I was pulling it up on my phone, the other lady whom had slightly interacted with me before came up and said did you pay already? I said yes. She said did you call. I said no. I ordered online. They were apparently getting my order mixed up with another person who hadnt paid. When we finally got our food. The only thing warm was the broth and even that was disappointing. The noodles were caked together and almost solidified as theyd clearly been sitting longer than should have been. Needless to say, we wont be returning.

We dined in on a Thursday evening and were seated right away (the restaurant was about half occupied). The restaurant was clean and airy with a good amount of seating space. Service was polite but not fast and we did have to wait several minutes to get anyones attention. The crispy tofu was delicious with some soya sauce + spicy sauce. The chicken karrage bowl was fine but the chicken was not very crispy. The pork ramen was good once spicy sauce was added in. The vegetable ramen was fine as well, with a strong seaweed flavor - I added spicy paste in that as well, plus a boiled egg (it was not really seasoned, thus calling it just boiled). Overall, its an OK place to dine, although the food was mild tasting with no discernable flavors except for the taste added by the spicy sauce. Since there is only one veg ramen on the menu, it will be a while until we circle back to this specific restaurant. Vegetarian options: There is only one vegetarian Ramen. And one vegetarian rice option.

I went into this place with very high hopes because of the reviews. It was my kiddos birthday so I wanted our dinner to be special. It was everything but... The service was pleasant upon arrival but once we got our food the service quickly dissipated. The appetizers were good except for the Edamame which seemed to come out of the microwave and also seemed to be about a quarter of the portion we regularly get at other restaurants. When the food came my White Chasu Ramen was the only decent plate served. My daughters Seafood upon was terrible (Salty and overseasoned with something else) and dont even get me started on the Teriaki chicken. For 22 bucks I expected something better. The dry excuse for a salad was terrible and the chicken was not only dry, but it had enough pepper on it to season several meals. My son took one bite and put his fork down. To make things worse the waitress attempted to tell me that they could add more sauce and that she was only going to give me 50% off for the dish. I explained that the dish was barely touched and that no amount of sauce was going to make up the terrible taste of pepper and how dry the chicken was. She reluctantly agreed to remove it from our bill and brought us our check. I personally will never go back and can would never recommend this place to friends or family.

Probably the best ramen I have ever had in TX. They seemed short staffed and busy the night my partner and I went but we were still seated and served within 15 minutes. We ordered sake and several appetizers to start. The veggie tempura was fried perfectly and the gyoza were super tasty. I ordered the tonkotsu ramen with chashu and my partner ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki. The teriyaki was served on a still sizzling plate and the chicken was tender and peppery. The ramen was presented beautifully as shown in the photo I added. Everything was cooked perfectly, I was especially pleased with how the chashu was grilled and seasoned before being added to the ramen. The egg is even worth mentioning as the yolk was still a little runny and the egg was also seasoned perfectly. I am definitely coming back for ramen but next time I will nix the extra fish cake I added and instead opt for an extra egg!

I m going to start from the beginning of my experience. It was about 7:10 P.M. and there was a line for tables, okay, no biggie that s normal and the line wasn t even too long. After I d say somewhere between 45 minutes to an hour, we finally got seated. We had to wait for the water longer than you would if you went to any other restaurant, since we were looking over the menu while we were waiting to be seated, we already knew what we wanted to order and told the server, who didn t even acknowledge it. A while later, our orders were taken. Then we waited. And waited. Then we got our appetizers after a while, maybe about 8:20? Do note that ramen places USUALLY don t take too long to make the ramen itself, multiple times at other places the ramen came so quickly it came before the appetizers. Then we asked the waitress how long until our ramen was ready, because we ve been waiting to eat for an hour at that point and she said 5-7 minutes. It was pretty obvious they were guessing but we had to wait another 20 minutes, which is a pretty big difference. So finally, at 8:45 I d say, we finally got the food. The food itself was good but not worth 1 hour and 30 minutes of my life which could have been used for other more important things. We kept hearing a bell dinging from the kitchen often though, it s clear that they were prioritizing the online and to-go orders for whatever reason.

Meh. Disappointed. Service was great, but food was just disappointing. No sushi available like in the pictures. Not much taste in the pork belly and the chicken teriyaki tasted more like lemon grass chicken. The fried chicken appetizer also had no taste and was just greasy. There didnt seem to be chicken in there. Dont get me wrong, I love greasy stuff but I also like to taste greasy stuff. For a minute there, we all thought we had lost our sense of taste until we tried each others food. Weve definitely had better pork belly, chicken teriyaki, ramen, karaage, and bulgogi and for way cheaper too.

Overall my experience at Misaki was very good. The flavors and textures were excellent, the servers were very friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was much like you d expect from a ramen restaurant. The Black Sauce and White Sauce Ramen dishes were delicious and had a unique grilled meat flavor. The Thai Milk Tea had a rich flavor without being overly sweet, and the boba were tender and chewy. My only critiques would be that the chashu pork - while delicious - was over done and slightly dry, and the prices were all about 20% more than what you would expect for a restaurant of this type in Round Rock. I ll definitely be back when overcome by the urge for good ramen, but the price might motivate me to limit my trips to once a month rather than once a week.

It has been a while since we had ramen noodles so today, we decided to try Misaki Ramen. We arrived before 1pm and got seated fairly quickly. The menu offered limited items with emphasis on appetizers, ramen, rice bowls, udon noodles, teriyakis and desserts. I decided to try Spicy Miso Ramen, which is Spicy miso Tonkotsu broth, chashu (pork belly), Ajitama eggs, nori seaweed, and vegetables (green onions, bean sprouts, and menma bamboo shoots). I have to admit, I was surprised by the rich, bold and spicy tonkotsu broth; the pork belly was tender and well prepared, and the Ajitama egg was excellent... I truly enjoyed every single bite. The place had a relaxing atmosphere and the staff were very polite. Overall, a good dining experience and I look forward to visiting the restaurant again.

Were very glad we decided to try this place. We hadnt gone here yet because I dont typically like eating what I call messy foods, like ramen, and my husband doesnt like seafood and has a very mild shrimp allergy, which is common in Japanese cuisine in general. This ramen was so delicious. We loved the white miso broth so much. It was flavorful and comforting. I liked how much bulgogi was on the bulgogi ramen. My husband really liked it and that was so nice to see since he usually can only eat some form of chicken on rice at Japanese places. I loved all the things on my veggie ramen. Everything is so nutritious. Ive recently been on a mushroom kick because I read so many great things about their uses in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Im not sure that these are the same exact mushrooms I read about, but the flavors all went together very well. Similar story with seaweed. The fiber found in the corn balances out any lack of fiber in the noodles and broth. As for ramen being a messy food, I had just had Taiwanese style street dumplings last week and my favorite way to eat those is to dip the dumpling in the sauce, maybe add some ginger using the chopsticks, put the dumpling in the soup spoon, poke a hole with chopsticks, slurp the hot soup from the spoon, then slurp the dumpling from the spoon. So because of that, I found my favorite way of eating ramen now is to put the noodles onto the soup spoon and slurp from the soup spoon. I get to enjoy the broth and the noodles without picking up the bowl, which I just cannot allow myself to do, no matter that the etiquette says its ok! Vegetarian options: The vegetarian ramen is amazing! I did sub out the broth for chicken broth for my ramen, but the waiter was very knowledgeable about the veggie broth when I asked about it. It sounds very good if youre vegetarian.

I will say that I like their variety of food and that the food is decent, and I was hoping to make this a regular spot, but their customer service is appalling. My group of four went in last night on a Sunday at 9:30, and they close at 10. I hate those rude people that waltz into a restaurant right before closing, but we had an event that ran late so decided wed just eat quickly and go, and figured there would probably be other stragglers that would dine later than us anyways. Ultimately, while wed never drop in somewhere 15 min before closing, we figured 30 minutes would be okay. We walk into a completely empty restaurant, and the chef welcomes us, but the two waitresses are staring at us in shock. One asks, Take out or dining in? I say dining in, and she says Oh. As her face drops. She then says Well, the kitchen is almost closed. Their faces and attitude make it clear they didnt want to serve us, so I awkwardly turn to my group and ask if we should go somewhere else. Then the waitress asks if were going to order sushi in a reconciliatory way, as if maybe it wont be so bad depending on what we order from the menu, as if parts of the menu are not going to be offered? I dont know. So then I tell my group we should go somewhere else, and its only at this point that the waitress walks over to a table and asks us to sit down. As were walking out the door, she keeps insisting that we stay and sit down, trying to convince us with things like Anywhere you go will be almost closed too, even after were outside. Which we all felt was bizarre after she clearly let us know we werent welcome. All of this while the three other employees in the restaurant (at least in the front) just stared at us. Right after we got into the car, a male employee walked over and unplugged the neon open sign. What Id like to know is if its company policy to shut down before closing (considering no employee saw any problem with this), and if so, maybe you should really just change your hours to close earlier. This would have been our third visit, but I dont see us coming back.

The worse Asian food I ve ever had In my life! From the beginning you walk in there is a terrible smell. Chicken wings were so battered so much they just tasted like oil. I felt sick after eating them. I ordered jasmine tea, they gave me a cold tea in a cup. I said I ordered hot tea and they came back with the same cup and had put it in the microwave. There is not authentic tea in a pot. The black garlic ramen including the regular ramen order were so bad my wife and I could not finish the food. It literally made us want to throw up. None of this food is authentic. Based on my experience I would recommend a health inspector stop by and take a close look at this place. It has come under new management and is the worst overpriced food I ve ever had. Also staff is rude and short with customers and does not communicate well. Will not be returning.

If youre a fan of ramen, then Misaki Ramen should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Round Rock. During my recent visit, I ordered the White Sauce ramen (Pork Tonkatsu) and it did not disappoint. The broth was flavorful but not too overwhelming, and it had a light weight to it that made it easy to enjoy. The pork belly was seasoned and cooked to perfection, and I especially liked how it was grilled. The noodles were on the thinner side, but they were still very good. They also were very generous with the toppings and the pork slide was a good size (not shown in pic, but it was like palm sized). The service was amazing as well; The food was ready in 15 mins and the two young servers were extremely kind. The ambiance of the place was relaxing, with background piano music playing. Theres plenty of parking available. Overall, my experience was amazing and I cant wait to come back to try their different ramens. I give Misaki Ramen a 5/5 and the ramen itself a 9/10.
