mon Drop Studios is a photography location unlike any other. Made with the professional photographer in mind it offers creative spaces, natural lighting, vaulted ceilings and an outdoor garden with functional greenhouse. Two separate studios can be rented by the hour and each offers private restrooms and changing rooms, hair and makeup stations, rotational props, and interior rooms for controlled lighting for headshots. It is located in McKinney, Texas and is walking distance to the historical downtown square shops and restaurants. It is the ideal place for all types of photography and is an amazing location for photography workshops. Please contact to book for private events to get custom pricing.

This studio is the best in the area, hands down! The booking is so easy, their website is a breeze to navigate and understand exactly what will be available to the photographer to use on each side of the studio to help you understand which side you may want to book. This studio was clearly designed with the photographer in mind. There isnt a bad lighting position in place. Every image turns out incredible!

Let me say that I am so glad we found this gem in McKinney. This is one of the most beautifully designed and chic photography studios I have seen in the DFW area. The garden is breathtaking. I could spend a day there and relax amidst the colorful flowers and the greenhouse. Alyssa, accommodated us, last minute, to host a launch Yoga retreat for a new release of my Zen Music album. On top of it being a professional space, Alyssa, is a sweet person and it was a pleasure booking with her. I highly recommend Lemon Drop Studios for your photography session or mini events, that can fit up to 30 people. P.S. We rented the B space, with access to the garden.

Loved my experience! It was super easy to access the studio and the garden was beautiful as well! I do wish the backdrops were set up in a way that the window would be on the opposite wall of the backdrop rather than the side in case natural light photographers want even lighting for their images. Other than that it was a great experience!

It had everything needed for our 1 year old cake smash. 4 stars because they don t give time between booking to clean up etc which most studios do. People walked in 10 mins before we were done to use the bathroom, change, and setup - and it was annoying

Nice natural light for photography, they also have beautiful seasonal setups, They have a nice backyard and white greenhouse available to rent as well, all very cute. Definitely recommend for photography sessions

Looking for a place to for indoor and outdoor photo op, this is your place! Super cute. All of the details are thought out before you get there. You are given a code and literally walk into the space and can start your photo shoot as soon as you open the door. Theres also a room to change in and do hair and makeup.

We used Studio A for an anniversary shoot. It was beautiful! Lighting was awesome throughout and the props & furniture in the space were perfect for using in photos. Will be coming back!!

Lemon Drops Studio is so pretty! They have indoor and outdoor shooting locations. The light indoors was so pretty, despite the rain! I love the outdoor greenhouse! I cannot wait to use it sometime soon!

Lemondrop is just perfect for so many things. Lifestyle newborn, personal branding, mommy and me, etc. Parking is easy and close. Side A is the lifestyle studio with different furniture, a movable wall and a kitchen as well as small selection of newborn props. Side B rotates seasonal looks. There is also an outside garden area with a greenhouse. Also perfect for small elopements!

This was the perfect location for a small wedding. Having access to the outside space was amazing. The owner, Alyssa, was wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure we had information on where to park. Really a gem in McKinney (north Dallas) if you are looking for a garden, outdoor photography session.

Alyssa Carman was super professional and absolutely amazing. My wife hates getting her picture taken but felt at ease with Alyssa. The studio looked amazing and even had so many different outdoor places as well as inside ones. I will definitely be bringing my family back for more family pictures.
