We stop here once a week when we are headed to Austin. Breakfast tacos have lots of flavor. Stop by and give them a try!! 3 tacos is only $10 and they are enough to fill you up for sure. For those of you crying about the price....do you want them to just give you the food? Stop complaining or stay home and cook your own food. Prices have gone up everywhere, these people arent raising their prices to get rich, they are raising them to be able to stay in business!!

Stood at the window for a good 8 minutes with no help. Finally left after seeing that they were just actively ignoring me after someone made eye contact with me. Birria was on point and the salsa for tacos was not terrible despite the past reviews. Al Pastor was a little dry and lacking that beautiful marinade the traditional taco is known for, especially in La Merced Market Mex. Love the outdoor truck with the market feel under the canopy and service was decently quick. Price point is a little off but hell, we are knee deep in inflation so I get it.

The birria tacos and quesadilla were great, but prices werent posted. It was $37 + tip which brought it to almost $45 for lunch for 2 people with no rice or beans or anything. It did taste great, much better than Masfajitas birria tacos, but if I had known we were going to spend that much, we would not have on this particular day. And it will keep us from going back, as good as it was! The corn tortillas were terrific, but we could have bought a whole fajita cookout to have at home instead. If you feel like treating yourself, go for it! But if youre counting down til payday and bills are due, skip this place.

We were kind of mad at ourselves for starting there because nothing else seemed any better than average the rest of the day. Hella good!! I was expecting a lot walking into this experience, so maybe thats why I was disappointed. Read the reviews and heard the birria tacos were on point, but unfortunately I thought otherwise. Youre charged $16 for three small tacos. Thats it. You dont get rice, beans, not even a drink included. The tacos were okay but nowhere near amazing enough to be charged $16 for them. I was definitely disappointed and still hungry after eating them. This was just not it.

All behind additional salsa?! Why ?! Doesn t seem to be an issue for the Spanish speakers .? I ve battled with the young lady in the mornings one too many times over the same issue. Unfortunate you conduct a business this way. I ask for 4 salsas for 3 tacos. She always finds a way to try an complicate this request. She s tried over charging me. Giving me smaller cups. We tried a variety of their tacos. The beef was a bit tough, and the picadillo seemed to be shredded beef with french fry style potatoes, which was interesting. Overall, they were pretty good. The fresh made tortillas were probably the highlight of these tacos. Its definitely worth a try if youre in the area and looking for authentic tacos!

Charged $20 for 6 chorizo and egg tacos. Nothing added to them. Dry. Plain. Not even flavorful. Was highlighy dissatisfied. When I m in a rush, we call ahead and always order the same things as they have not disappointed. We get chicharrón quesadillas and milanesa torta as well as asada or campechano . I was just charged $12! For 3 tacos!! The plate came with rice and beans. My plate barely had any beans and they were salty. The rice was undercooked and somehow still mushy! I ate here once before and the tacos were good. Issue that time was that I ordered dcorn and they made them on flour. Discovered that when I got home and have a gluten intolerance. So I was able to switch them to a corn tortilla. However this time I called again and ordered. It was difficult to order due to language barrier but we got it done. It s OKAY. Came here based off the reviews. Food was not flavorful, very bland. My wife and I ordered the taco plates. Beef fajita, chicken fajita, shredded chicken, and shredded beef were our taco choices all on corn tortillas. Best one was the chicken fajita. All the tortillas fell apart so couldn t even enjoy the tacos. Retried beans and yellow rice were the sides. Rice was hard but the beans were pretty good. Everything just needed seasoning. We were also missing salsa, even though we were told it was in the bag. Maybe we came on a bad day but I do not see the hype in this place.

A worthwhile stop! Very simple and authentic flavors. I ordered the gordita which had a very traditional crispy texture on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. You can get any protein filling in anything you want (tacos, gordita, torta) (shredded beef, shredded chicken, barbacoa, pastor, etc etc) pictured is the Shredded Beef Gordita. Hot Food was Hot and Cold Drinks were Cold. I will definitely be putting this into my regular rotation when I am in this town. Would recommend! [The staff I interacted was perfectly bilingual. Staff that is more Spanish than English does a pretty good job at getting your order right as well. ] Note: this is a taco truck with outdoor covered seating. This is not an indoor restaurant.
