The food is amazing! It s healthy and fresh and yummy. The employees are so nice and kind and accommodating and patient. I love this place! Vegetarian options: Since one builds their own meal, Instructing their server of what to put in their taco or burrito or salad or whatever they choose to eat, it is very easy to choose vegetarian options. They have lots of choices to choose from. Dietary restrictions: I have extreme food allergies, to the point where eating out is always a problem. But not here. The food is so healthy, I don t have to worry about sugar being stuck in anything. I have my choice of what goes in my meal! I have full control of what I eat at Freebird. I appreciate that so very much. Parking: This Freebird is in the strip center, so there s plenty of parking for everyone. Kid-friendliness: The store has a book center for children to choose books from! I absolutely love this. It appears the children love it too! Good job free bird!

So subpar for what it is. Don t pay extra for the prime steak - not even chewable. Salsa has weird sweet taste. Corn salsa is barely roasted. Save your money and eat tacos at home. Ordered delivery from this location. Completely forgot a serving of steak after I paid for a full serving of steak and an additional serving of chicken. I assumed maybe it didn t say it on the ticket and there was confusion. Nope Receipt says steak and chicken and yet still forgot it If you go to Freebirds don t do delivery.

Ive been enjoying freebirds since 1998 when I was first introduced to it at Texas A&m and college station. Since then, the original owners sold the company to some restaurant outfit out of California, and they have continuously Californiaized the food, the menu, and the service or now lack thereof. Its not very good anymore, and the service is not very good either. I would find another burrito place if I were you. I think my visit to freebirds last night was an unfortunate end to visiting what used to be an amazing burrito place. RIP Original Freebirds.

The service here is atrocious! It s ran by a bunch of children who have zero idea on how to do their jobs, and zero management to lead. Called to cancel an order placed online due to internet outage which I understand is no one s fault, but if the food wasn t ready then why should I pay for it? A simple cancelling of the order and refund wasn t that hard of a request, but of course the charge went through so which tells me the person I spoke to did absolutely nothing to help me with my simple request. Beware! Don t go here.

Figured I would give this place another shot after a few months in hopes they would finally have their act together, which they dont. Manager in a red shirt takes my order, and I ask for 2 burritos, he then says Okay well make this one first, and then proceeds to have me go down the line to build that one, and then not communicate to the other employee that I have another burrito, nor does he even get the 2nd tortilla ready. This however is not the worst of it. They have zero steak, and am told it will be a 4 minute wait (it was far longer than 4 minutes I found out at the end) so I instead got chicken, which there was practically no chicken left, and I was given what little was for my $16 super monster burrito, which had less meat than their competitor will give you for double the cost. You could visibly see the employee hesitate to even try and get me what meat was left but probably didnt want to tell me it would be an even longer wait for the remaining meat. I get to the end after finishing building the first burrito and have to remind them once again that I have a 2nd burrito. Im then forced to go back to the start of the line, cutting in front of other people either already in the process of building theirs, or people waiting to even start their order. Guess what, NO white chicken left after my burrito. Theres barely any dark chicken left either so I get barely a full scoop of that. Im having to yell in between people building their burritos, in order to have mine built as this is happening. How does that make any logical sense? Why would you not build the 2 burritos together and go down the line and then check-out? Fast forward and while Im waiting to be totaled out at the register, I overhear the manager tell every single person waiting in line it will be 12-15 minute wait on chicken, and a 10 minute wait on steak and the cook saying I dont have any down and shrugs her shoulder. This all occurred at 6pm, and when I had gotten there I was 1 of only 3 people in line. Dinner rush hours and they have ZERO meat cooking or on backup. Its like a bad joke.

Freebirds is white-people burrito heaven. I say that because, while the flavors are authentic-ish, youll never see a burrito that big at any traditional Mexican food establishment. The staff are always helpful and very kind and a super monster is like three or more meals, especially the way I build it. Pro-tip: go between 2-5 on a weekday and ship the lemming-rush. Vegetarian options: While you would need to ask about truly vegan options, its quite easy to create a vegetarian burrito, though the protein would come from mostly beans, if not exclusively (mushrooms MAY be available as a protein source, but Im not vegetarian, so I didnt ask)

Service was awful.. and that s being liberal. I bought 5 meals for some friends and had sat down before I went to break a larger bill. The girl had opened the register and was about to switch it out when one of the male workers came up and said this isn t a bank, if you want change you should go there. Then were mocked by 2 female employees after voicing our complaints. I loved freebirds but will not be returning to any after this experience.

I go to FreeBirds Often, But the customer service at this Location was the best Ive had. The Gentleman who Serviced my Friends was so kind and patient. He came behind the counter to try to help bring my friends wheelchair in. And he was Patient with my friends inability to speak and be vocal like others. Made sure we got our desired scoops on everything and serviced each and everyone one of us, by himself. While the rest of the team was busy in the kitchen. Very kind, gave us a coupon on our large order. Restaurant is very clean, spacious for wheelchair users to enjoy a meal among others. Would for sure come again to this location. Todays lunch choice: Freebirds in Round Rock Outlets mall. The place was not crowded and we were able to place our orders within 10 minutes after arrival. I decided to order the Monster Burrito in spicy cayenne tortilla, with seasoned chicken, cilantro lime rice, black beans, sauteed peppers and onions, pico de Gallo, grilled corn salsa, lettuce, cheese and finally topped with Habanero sauce. The staff.were very friendly. These guys were very busy, seemed to know their jobs, but had no leadership facilitating them. It took over 40 minutes to get our food. When I informed them ice was out, lids were out, and napkins were out at the drink station, it was acknowledged, but they didnt seem to be in a place to take care of it. Freebirds is one of my favorite places, but these guys were having a bad day. We left wishing we had gone somewhere else to grab our lunch. The food was good, but even superbusy, I usually can expect to have my food at my local store in no more than 10-20 minutes. I couldnt agree more with you about Freebirds World Burrito. Their food is absolutely delicious and definitely worth the visit. Whenever I go there, I always order the super monster burrito because its just that good. And lets not forget about their Queso and chips, they are unbeatable. The customer service is also great, although there may be longer wait times due to the high volume of customers. But trust me, the wait is worth it. Overall, I highly recommend this location for lunch or dinner. Its definitely one of my favorite spots to visit.

I catered a taco bar for an event. When everything arrived, there was a pint of queso missing from the delivery. When I called the store, the young lady that answered the phone was very friendly, understanding, and helpful. She didnt make excuses, but instead told me that shed get it handled. Today, 4/26/2023 around 2 pm was the first time Ive had a Freebirds meal that tasted good. Each time Ive tried it in the past, it was always stale, cold, and flavorless resembling cheap cafeteria food. Even yesterday- it was terrible. I ordered yesterday because I eat plant-based and this was the only option in the area where I could order all veggies. 4/25/2023 I ordered via UberEats and the food was so bad I did not want to finish it. I ordered again today because I received a credit for my order and what do you know? The food made me say Wow, I See what everyone else was saying. The food is really good today. I feel bad for all those times I talked smack about Freebirds and told everyone how bad it is, but the truth is, I know this experience was an anomaly and I wont receive the same quality, should I try it again in the future. Was exactly what i was looking for! Wanted rice and meat... ended up getting a steak bowl..... rice beans and steak with guacamole, corn salsa, pico de gallo, yum! Fantastic flavor and two meals worth of food in the monster size.

On National Burrito Day, they were completely unprepared. Offered special and took orders online with promised time for food to be ready. Took over two hours past promised time. They didn t have their workforce properly assigned. Manager is completely inept. Seriously loved Freebirds 30 years ago in College Station but now

Love the choices. Its now 2023, while I still like the food the online ordering experience is without a doubt the worst I have experienced. Arriving at the prescribed time will just have you waiting another 25-30 minutes. You are literally better off just standing in the line. No idea why it is this way after basically 3 years off streamlining online ordering but here we are.

Usually go to cabo bobs for my burritos, figured Id give freebirds a try after moving to Hutto. I am pretty disappointed. Got the monster burrito which is almost $14 and the quality of the ingredients is pretty bad. The shredded lettuce is full of spines, the tortillas are barely cooked, and the chicken was honestly the worst Ive ever had anywhere; the chicken was basically all very tiny pieces of slimy meat with so much chewy fat it makes me wonder if it is fat or uncooked chicken. Think Ill stick with cabo bobs... Hopefully they expand into the areas surrounding austin.

My first time visiting the FWB. I was impressed with the amount of food put into my chicken fajita. I was not expecting such a large serving. Awesome! I arrived just as it opened therefor the place was clean, quiet and the service was quick and yes I would return if visiting the area again. Food

We were met with a loud WELCOME IN from what appeared to be management. We dined in around 6:45pm at the Round Rock 1431 location. We had nachos, a bowl, and a burrito. The service was prompt and they were not too busy. The food was fresh and hot. The manager came around & picked up trays and made conversation with guests. He even fixed the soda machine punch flavor and served a guest her drink. Not your typical Freebirds vibe but I actually preferred it. The music wasnt all loud and irritating.

My chicken was cold. Nothing was hot. Guy told me the cilantro was not noticeable in the pico but it is. I wanted tomatoes but they did not have any. I had an offer for a free dessert but it wasnt taken off the total. Chips were good.
