Amada has done a great job with our dad! We are very pleased. We were referred to Patrick by the hospital my dad was at for his hip surgery. Amada s care givers came in and really helped my dad recover. He s 77 and is a fall risk. The caregivers help him with bathing, transfers, and cleaning the house. We could not have done it without them.

We were having a very tough time with our dad and his memory issues. He has dementia and he would not allow any help in his home until we met Patrick and Amada! Patrick came over the house and met with our dad and the family and explained how their service could help our dad. We did not realize how much Amada s CNAs can do to help him. Amada Senior Care has cared for our mother for over a year. We were very appreciative for Carmen and Lauren who helped our mother day to day. It was a time in our families lives where we felt mom needed the best care. Patrick and Tanya were in constant contact with us were making sure all of the care needs of our mom were taken of. Patrick eventually referred us to Hospice Compasuss to add additional support. Katie at Compassus was very supportive and very helpful on the next steps. We feel like we are in very good hands with Amada and Compassus.

We were very fortunate to be referred to Amada Senior Care for their services. From day one they were very responsive! Jamie came to our home and did an assessment on our dad to see how they can help. Jamie brought to our attention issues we did not think about in terms of the type of care our father needed. It was clear a hoyer lift was needed after speaking with her. Our dad is a big guy and there is no way our mom could lift him if he fell. Amada s caregivers have done and excellent job with him so far. Carmen is a blessing to our family and we don t know what we would do without her.

We are very impressed with Amada Senior Care! My grandmother was discharged from St David s Hospital a couple of weeks ago and the case manger referred us to several home care companies and Amada seemed like the best option. Tanya from Amada met with us and explained to us on how they could help. My grandmother is a fall risk because of a broken hip and needed help throughout the day. Amada was instrumental in providing support and caregivers. They helped us workout what we thought an impossible task for managing my father-in-law s care 2100 miles away. We worked with several other home care companies and kept having problem after problem. The caregivers were not showing up. It was very frustrating. We were then referred to Amada. We called them and Tanya is a total super start. She stepped up on very short notice and handled everything. All of our problems went away when Tanya stepped in. Several times we called her after hours very late and Amada was there to help. We were on the phone with Tanya a lot. She was very patient and always very helpful. We would not know what to do without Amada s support! Thank you Tanya!

Great things happen at Amada Senior Care! My father needed help at home b/c he fell in the shower. I called Amada and Tanya came out to the house. We found her to be very insightful on how they could help him. Tanya took the time to get to know dad to see what he needed. Tanya went back to her offiice and set us up with the perfect caregiver for my father. I can tell he my dad has a new hop in his step when she comes over. Its great to see. Amada has been caring for my mom for the last 9 months. From the first moment of meeting Patrick we knew we were in very good hands. He made sure he had all of the information about my mom to help her in the best way possible. He recommended physical therapy for my mom because she was a fall risk. She has issues with not getting enough oxygen. PT started to come to the house 3 times per week and it really helped her. Amada s nursing aide Jenna takes really good care of my mom. She helps her with a lot. She assists with showering, dressing, and transferring. Jenna also takes my mom through a customized exercise program to help keep her from falling. This has been a awesome experience for our family. We can t thank Amada enough!!!

My mother was diagnosed with cancer. Our hospice provider refered us to Patrick at Amada. I will say at first is was difficult to get our mother to allow their caregivers to come in and help. She is a very proud woman. We finally convinced her to let Amada in for a couple of days. Barbara was just awesome with our mom. My dad recently fell in the shower and then needed hip surgery. The case manger at St David s gave us a list of providers and after interviewing all of them it was clear Amada Senior Care was the best fit for my dad to help him with in home care after he was discharged. Tanya from Amada came to meet with our family at the hospital and explained to us how their nursing aides could help my dad while he s recovering at home. Amada Senior Care has been helping my husband and me for over 2.5 years. Thank goodness we have a long term care insurance policy to cover the costs. Patrick and Tanya did an awesome job filing the claim, getting it approved, and managing the claim. We literally had to do nothing. They took care of everything and got the claim approved. I very rarely write reviews but I had to do one for Amada. After 83 years my father had his first medical emergency. We were at a loss at what to do after he was released from the hospital but then in stepped Patrick. He and his team answered all of our questions and gave us hope everything was going to be ok. Ajazmin took over the scheduling and helped us with 24 hour care beginning the first day home. She was always available (even after hours) too help me in anyway possible. Amada Senior Care has been with our Community (The Clairmont) since they started in the Austin area. The services they have been able to provide for our residents makes resident family members feel better, as well as Staff here at the community. We know our residents will be looked after and cared for, and that the communication between Amada employees and Management in our community is always open. Patrick has terrific energy, and consistently checks in with us to make sure that things are running smoothly. Should we have any issues, Patrick and Tanya have been very responsive in helping us correct things. Amada provided amazing service for our family during a very difficult time. We weren t even sure what we needed. After a few hours home and a mix up we called Tosha at 8:00 pm at night. She could tell we were frantic and scared and wanted someone with us all night. She calmed us down, through the phone took all the information and didn t want us to worry about too many details she was truly focused on just caring about the situation and showing us compassion. By 9:40 pm she had someone there! If we could have hugged her and kissed her feet we would have. She moved mountains for us. Not only that she sent an angel - Candy. Im a Care Consultant at Hospice Compassus in Round Rock, which serves the Greater Austin area. On many occasions we have patients that need more care in home than we are able to provide. Many of our patients are seniors and not safe to be in their home for many reasons and the only option for them is to go into a skilled nursing facility requiring 24/7 care. This is not no longer the case after finding Amada Senior Care. We are now able to get in-home care right away from Amada and their team. The Amada Team always puts the familys and patients needs first. They work with all sorts of patients suffering age-related issues ranging from Dementia, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, ALS, COPD, and others. They are very helpful, caring, and compassionate, They will truly go the extra mile to help our patients with all of their activities of daily living in the home. When we call Amada to help a family, they respond very quickly to meet with them, take their time to get to know each individual family member, and take every need into consideration. They listen very well, consistently answer every question, and are extremely thorough. Their follow-through is fantastic. We have found safety and comfort in using Amada Senior Care for our patients. We have found they are an amazing help at keeping loved ones at home instead of readmitting back into the hospital or making arrangements for placement at a skilled nursing facility. I know when I call Patrick and Tanya about a family in need they will take every need seriously and treat them like their own personal family! This is so very rare to find in our society today. They consistently go the extra mile each and every time. We personally recommend Amada Senior Care to everyone we feel could use their services. When our Mom was diagnosed with ALS on June 5, 2017 we knew we had a tough road ahead of us. Unfortunately, our moms disease progressed rather quickly and she needed 24-hour care. Our family pulled together and were able to care for her for part of the time, but for 12 hours out of the day we needed help. We tried two different companies, both were less than satisfactory. Often caretakers would arrive with inadequate knowledge of how to care for our mom. We heard a lot of broken promises and suffered financial loss and frustration. When we found Amada everything changed. Patrick, the owner, took it upon himself to ensure that my mom received the very best care. On December 17, 2018 our mother passed away, but beside us stood the caretakers from Amada that showed our mother so much love over the few months they knew her. My Moms first encounter was with Patrick and his cute puppy in training, Ulysses. What a great company who can bring their sweet dog for a home visit! It made our initial meeting a great experience. When we signed on with Amada, there were a few hiccups with scheduling, but Morgan quickly resolved the issue. A couple of the caregivers were less then stellar and when I provided feedback, Tonya was greatly appreciative. My Mom is better now and we are not currently using their services, but will most certainly call them when we are ready again. Patrick is amazing and so happy to have met him.

Patrick and Tanya are experts in the financial coordination of care for helping seniors with Senior Care. They specifically know a ton about long term care insurance and getting claims approved. If you are trying to file a long term care insurance claim just give it to Patrick and Tanya. They will not only file the claim for you, but more importantly they will get it approved very quickly. We are currently very happy with services from Amada. Mom s caregiver is a walking angel. She truly cares about mom, helping her with everything. They communicate very well with our family on anything regarding mom. They have a checklist for mom showing all the things they do for her daily such as helping her dress, brushing her teeth, showers and so on. All I have to say about Amada are wonderful things. They are doing everything they said they would do and more. My mother has a rare disease called Amyloidosis. It s a rare form of cancer. It s has been very hard on my family to watch her go through this. The disease makes her very tired and she lacks the energy to do things. We finally called Amada and met with Christi and Patrick who came out to the house and expained their service. We love the caregiver they selected for us. Beth was exactly what mom needed. The care my mother of 87 received from Amada Senior Care was far above all the rest and believe me when I tell you we tried others. My mom was new in an independent living and was physically active but not socially willing. I know now that home healthcare for the elderly or someone in rehabilitation is the best kept secret in the U.S. If you dont have a great service, properly vetted, caring and punctual, you will find yourself much more involved in managing your provider than you ever expected or wanted. Amada skilled nurses provided amicable care and more valuable to us, they included the much needed quotient of THOUGHTFUL CONVERSATION important to her and filled that need. I am so grateful for the entire staff of Amada because as a caregiver myself for 2+ years for mom, they relieved time and stress for us both. I recommend this service to anyone who needs has an in home need for an elder. Through this process, I was able to become acquainted with the owner, Patrick and the CFO Tonya who are in this business because they truly care about the client. Pat and Carmen are the caregivers for my elderly father, who has multiple health issues, including dementia. One or the other of them are with him 8 hours every day. Pat and Carmen are kind, compassionate, and they both take initiative to do everything they can to help my father without being asked (and by helping him, they also help my mother who has multiple health issues of her own). I cant express what a blessing that is! If something needs to be done, they just do it with a smile. I especially want to acknowledge Pat for an incident with my father a few months ago. My mother had fallen and broken her hip and was recovering in a rehab facility, so my father was alone at their senior apartment. My brothers and I were very worried about him being alone. One morning, Pat showed up for her shift, and my father did not answer the door, so she immediately called the front desk at their retirement community. Someone came to unlock the door, and they found my father almost unconscious in bed. Pat was an emergency medical technician in the past, so she recognized how serious the situation was. She immediately called me, and we both agreed that an ambulance should be called. My father was taken to the emergency room. I went to my parents apartment a few hours later to get some of my fathers things to take to the hospital, and I wondered if Pat would still be there as it was only 15 minutes until the end of her shift. She was there, putting clean sheets on the bed (my father is incontinent and the bed was a terrible mess). She had washed the sheets, cleaned up the mess (really going above and beyond!) and had my parents bedroom spotless, all with a smile on her face. Words cant express my gratitude to Pat for what she did that day. And I know that if Carmen had been there instead of Pat, she would have done the same thing. My entire family is so grateful that we have Pat and Carmen helping to care for my father -- we joke that weve been lucky enough to snag the two best caregivers at Amada!

I was referred to Amada by our resident manager Christina. I live in a independent living community. She told me Amada were experts on helping seniors with their long term care insurance policies and processing their claims for them. I then met with Patrick the owner of Amada and did everything Christina said he would do. Patrick and Tonya processed the entire claim for me. I had to do very little. We all know what s like to file claims with insurance companies on our own. Amada did the whole thing. The caregivers they have provided have been excellent. Patrick and his kind staff at Amada took on the job of caring for my mother post rehab while we waited for back surgery. While she was in rehab it was discovered that her complaints of back pain were tied to a dangerous degree of compression at the L-4 L-5 level. So for fifteen tense days they staffed her trip home with 24/7 caregivers. Mom lived in a rural location out on the ranch so it was even more challenging. I am very grateful to them for their help. I was extremely impressed with the way Patrick and Tanya handled my mom and dad. They were head and shoulders above other home care companies we interviewed to take care of him. I was trying to file a claim on my parents long term care insurance policy and it seemed like we kept hitting roadblocks by the insurance company. The Insurance company was giving us the run around not being helpful. Patrick immediately stepped in and filed the claim with the insurance company and got the claim approved ASAP. I was blown away on Amada s team operates. Tanya was on top of everything from insuring the claim stayed on servce. Amada is very organized assisted the transition of my parents with what they are going through. My dad is fine cognitively but has physical issues. He s a fall risk. My mom was diagnosed with 1st stage Alzheimer s. Amada to the rescue!!! Their caregivers were able to help my dad with bathing, dressing, and making sure he does not fall. The care from Amada has been exceptional and the quality of their service for my 93 year old father for the last several months has been outstanding. Our caregiver helps us full time Monday through Friday and she is always professional and punctual. She genuinely CARES for my fathers overall well being and happiness... EVERY DAY. Before we decided to hire Amada, Patrick had one of his representatives come out and visit with my sister and I. Tanya explained our options and the flexibility of their services. Amada strives to find just the right caregiver that best fits your situation. Our Caregiver, Kathrine has done an amazing job with my dad. She even takes meticulous notes of their days activities. For example how he performed for his Physical Therapy visit (With Texas Home Health), how much water he drank, if he was able to visit with his buddy back home on the phone, or who was the major winner of Skip Bo that day! Everyday I leave for work I know my dad is in great and loving hands! It s such a joy come home from work and find him clean, fed, happy, and at peace. I engaged Amada Senior Care to help my mom transition into a new independent living facility after her being in the hospital for 2 weeks. Amada provided wonderful caregivers - all were attentive and caring. Lauren was with mom the most and she was awesome. She and I mapped out a care plan, and she not only met the plan but exceeded it by taking initiative. She took mom on outings, made sure she attended activities and meals, and encouraged her socially. She sent me many texts and pictures during the day to keep me updated on moms activities and progress. Before she left she made many bright, multi-color signs to help mom remember everything from where she keeps her key to how to use the coffee maker. Moms cognitive progress improvement just in one week was amazing I believe because of Laurens energy, enthusiasm and willingness to think outside the box. I had a good experience with Amada, from the first contact with Christi Jo to my sad goodbye to Lauren. They will be my first call if/when we need caregiving services in the future.

Patrick and Amada have done a spectacular job with my Grandpa. Over the last several years my Grandpas health has slowly been declining to where we needed to find a caregiver to help him throughout his day. My family had been researching several different agencies in the area and we finally met with 3 of them. After looking at the differences of all the companies it wasn t even close, we decided to go with Amada. We couldnt have made a better choice for a fantastic outcome! In our initial meeting with Patrick, we were welcomed with open arms. He was sincere, compassionate, and most importantly very upfront and honest with us about everything. We discussed the amount of care Grandpa needed. Patrick recommended we have a caregiver in Grandpas home for 5 hours a day. It was less than what we initially thought, and the outcome was great. Patrick also educated us about Amada s BeClose With Amada program. The system allowed our family to monitor Grandpas activity in his home with our cell phones or computers. Amada installed devices throughout Grandpas home to keep track of his daily activity. Any abnormal activity in Grandpa s home the system lets us know to go check on him outside caregiving hours. One evening we were notified in the middle of the night that Grandpa had gotten out of bed and did not get back in bed for 2 hours. We immediately went to check on him, and come to find out, he had fallen in the bathroom and couldn t get himself back up. Without the Be Close To Amada system we would had never known to go over Grandpas house to help him and he would have been laying in the bathroom for hours. My husband and I attended a Parkinsons Support Group meeting and learned our Long-Term Health Care Insurance would cover in-home care. On Friday we decided to look into this through our insurance agent. She recommended that we contact Amada Senior Care and speak with Patrick Murphy. Patrick called us right away and within a few hours Patrick was in our home to do an evaluation of our needs. As we explained to Patrick that my husband was falling 3-5 times a week, getting bruises and scrapes, needed help bathing and dressing and could not even make his own meals because he is unable to walk and carry anything. It was clear we needed help in our home. Patrick is a very conscientious patient advocate and worked with us and our insurance company to initiate a claim for in-home care. On the following Monday we had an Amada care givers in our home for 7 hours. Patrick also made arrangements for a care giver 5 days each week since that first day. We have been receiving services from Amada Senior Care for 3 months and we are worry free. A new walker specially designed for people with Parkinsons was negotiated by Patrick Murphy with our insurance company and was delivered withing the first month. There was a wait time that preceded authorization from the insurance company; we are now receiving reimbursements for the charges during that time period. Amada Senior Care is a trustworthy advocate to work with the insurance company and provide us peace of mind that my husband is receiving the best quality care givers who keep him safe with assistance for activities of daily living. The Amada Care Givers also do folIow-up exercises from a physical therapist and speach therapist. We highly recommend Amada Senior Care to everyone who is feeling overwhelmed with care giving.
