Highly recommend coming earlier in the day or pre-ordering. We went in the afternoon and they were already sold out of a lot of ready to go treats, but we were still able to try some of them. The mini-mudpie crusties/cookies were very tasty and buttery/flakey (even though they dont use butter) The cookie dough bites were a hit with the kids. The pumpkin spice coffee cake was very good, but the salted caramel chocolate chip coffee cake was ok (this one tasted like it was top 8 free). The snickerdoodle cookie was very good and soft too. It felt good to eat at a dedicated gluten-free bakery. I will definitely go back when I m in town (and may even have my relatives send me some for the holidays!) This is such a wonderful allergen free bakery. The pies & donuts that we tried were absolutely delicious. I love the texture of their donuts, as well as their crusts. I dont know how they do it but this place is magic. The fruit in their pies taste so fresh, they dont laden it down with too much sugar, you can really taste the fresh tartness of the fruit. 100 stars, wonderful local bakery. Even if you dont have allergen needs, please give them a try, its truly some of the best pies we have ever had, among non gluten free and gluten free!

I just bought a pie from whole food and spent $16 for a soggy crust and canned peaches. You couldn t even par bake the dough and add sugar to the crust, or bake the bottom, or use fresh peaches? Rethink this recipe before you make this available in stores.

Bought two cakes for stepson s birthday. He has some food allergies and this place was perfect since he is limited on desserts. He loved the cake and we did too. I highly recommend and we will be back for any special occasions or when we simply crave some sweets. Our overall experience with Pie Jacked has been amazing. I have recently changed my lifestyle habits and elected to go down the all plant-based diet. This is all so new to me. The yellow cake with white icing had amazing flavor. It tastes very natural if that makes sense. I did have one concern with it however. Contacted the owner (I believe) and Bukki was more than willing to quickly resolve any worries I had. Thank you.

A really lovely shop with great products for those of us with celiac disease or bad gluten allergies. The chocolate chip cookie was my favorite, although their pies are very good. Things are prices quite reasonably - I spent $12 for two mini pies, a cookie, and a brownie. There is one outdoor table with two chairs if you want to snack while youre there. Dietary restrictions: Free of top allergens - nuts, gluten, dairy, soy, and more! And they only use oat flour in one product which is great for celiac people who react to avenin.

So glad they have contactless pickup during covid! They are such a great place to get gluten free/dairy free treats! Update March 2023: You can now enter to order. My aunt is gluten free/dairy free and my sister told her to try this bakery. She bought an assortment of pies and goodies and loved everything. We were in town for my nieces wedding and my sister ordered gluten free cakes here. She ordered a chocolate and a vanilla. My aunt and sister raved about the chocolate but neither liked the vanilla. They said it was hard and very dense. My aunt said gluten free vanilla items have a tendency to be that way. The pies were a big hit though and I know my aunt will go back on our next trip to Austin.

After 15 years of being gluten free, most baked goods are dry and tough (and really expensive). I found this little gem of a bakery and celebrated my birthday by getting a cherry pie and cinnamon coffee cake. The pie crust was light, the filling tasty and not icky sweet. The coffee cake was moist and light. The prices were half of what some local farmers markets charge for similar items. I will be back!

I got into this place for their pies and love everything they make! They have an amazing flaky pie crust with delicious fillings (I m partial to either chocolate or cherry), and it s all vegan and allergen friendly! Such a great bakery! Fight the crowded and small parking lot to get their treats. Recommend by my sister because I am gluten intolerant, I tried Pie Jacked. I highly recommend the Crusties, the best cookies of any kind ever! I also recommend the yummy cinnamon coffee cake which is moist and rich. My husband has been gluten-free for nearly two years on the advice of his doctor -- difficult because this man loves bread. After trying everything the grocery stores had to offer, we tried the bread at Pie Jacked, and he is one happy man once again. For his birthday last month, we ordered the chocolate cake with chocolate icing. It was amazing, and if I had eaten it without knowing where it came from, I would have sworn that was homemade buttercream frosting on regular chocolate/devils food cake. It was truly delicious. Ordered a week in advance over phone cause Website needs work. Was Specific with what I wanted over the phone due to 30th Birthday party for son . Show up order isnt ready asked to wait 15 or take a frozen pie- finally get pies & cutie pies dont look look pic on website & didnt have complete order . I asked where the rest of order was for my Apple Pie , she brings me a cherry pie & apologies .Asks me to wait another 26 minutes to get me an apple pie , What? Im a huge chocolate fan and while I dont have any food allergies, I very much enjoy reducing my carbon footprint. Choosing Pie Jacked pies at my local grocer makes me so happy to enjoy something that tastes SO good and is also LOCAL in Austin and is also working to make the world a better place. I had several wedding guests with gluten sensitivities and dairy allergies, and wanted to make sure they had a cake for my big day, because weddings where you re left out of cake are totally not fun. It s hard to find places so committed to being allergen friendly! We were so relieved to find Pie Jacked, and our guests with allergies were THRILLED with their vanilla cake. Great pies!!! We got a sampler pack of cherry, blueberry, chocolate, and pumpkin. Our favorites from the pack were cherry, blueberry, chocolate, and pumpkin. This made my wife happy, as she is gluten-sensitive, and loves pie. I am not, but some GF blends cause digestive issues for me. The flour blend at Pie Jacked did not make me ill in any way. Good stuff!

We get our sandwich bread from Pie Jacked, and almost always add on a tasty treat of some kind. Yesterday, I got the gluten free lemon poppyseed bread which was SO good with my coffee. Bucky is extremely helpful, hard-working, and always well-informed about their product if I have any questions. I love this store and I love supporting local businesses. Lady behind the counter not very friendly. Not much of a selection to buy, no coffee to buy. Pies not worth the 17 dollars we paid, they were 3 or 4 inch in diameter. We had 4 for 17dollars. We ate our pies there in the store and she disappeared to the back of store. No goodbyes or have a good day. We were very disappointed. Pies were ok. Wal-Mart has better at 50 cents a piece.

I recently purchased a cake for my daughters 1st birthday and I was blown away! We went with vanilla cake and vanilla frosting. Flavor was amazing, texture was so unique and appealing, and the size, while smaller than traditional birthday cakes, was just right. While I was in the shop picking up the cake, I could smell brownies baking and had to try one. They were amazing as well! My favorite part of both the cake and brownie was that you can actually taste the flavors, not just an overload of sugary sweet like other baked goods. We were looking for some gluten free pies for xmas dinner and found Pie Jacked on Google. We called up and ordered ahead based on the good reviews. They were very friendly and had no problems with order. When I picked up the pies I realized I had stopped reading their specialty at gluten free. I saw on the box all the other things the pie didnt have in it and started to worry. A lot of gluten free, allergen free etc foods just arent very good. Theyll get great reviews since their good for what they are but are usually terrible by normal standards. This was not the case at all. Our pies were great. Particularly the apple. The only difference I could tell was the crust. Its more like a shortbread cookie in taste and texture than your standard crust. Not a bad thing, just different. I would recommend their pies even if you dont have a food allergy.

A coworker (who knows Im gluten-free) stumbled on this gem and told me about it. I dont typically eat gluten-free substitutes but its nice to have an option to indulge on occasion. The donuts are more like little round cakes but good none the less. I also snagged a slice of lemon poppy cake which was a bit sweet for me but I was able to stretch it out over a few days because of it. I bought a frozen peach cutie pie for later and am looking forward to it as all other items were delicious. Note: Be aware that this a small shop and theres not much seating (one table inside with 3 or 4 chairs and a smaller one outside with 2). We will definitely be returning though!

Good and pricey pie. Found this place on google, since I never noticed it driving by. Theres not much signage to indicate there is pie here. Stopped by recently and picked up two of their small single-serving pies. The apple and cherry both tasted reasonably good. The fruit was fresh, apple itself was a bit firm. Kind of expected a bit more flavor. In particular as those little pies for $5 each, plus tax. Overall, its good, but I dont see myself back there again unless there is a sale or something. Can get a lot more tasty pie for your money just about anywhere else.
