Visited Bell s gaming center last night as a new-comer to magic and this place was awesome. The owner has cultivated such a warm and inviting environment. He is very knowledgable and you can feel the community aspect. Mike was very hospitable and honestly made us feel like we were visiting him in his own home. We have yet to find a place comparable and is definitely a 10/10

I love Bell s it s a home away from home and somewhere I can meet up with friends for DnD, MTG or just to hang out. Being able to walk into a game store and not be uncomfortable as a female presenting person means a lot. Plus Mikes MTG packs have always pulled fire cards for me!

Are you a gamer? Yes, then Bell s is the place to be. Magic the Gathering every single day. Formats include Casual Commander, Booster Draft, Sealed League, Standard, Pioneer, and Pauper. There s a party room in the back of the store that s available for any occasion. Whether it s a bachelor party, a birthday party, or just a bunch of nerds playing cards and rolling dice, then look for the big yellow sign. Prizes are super generous!

I love playing at Bell s when my schedule allows. Prices are great, people are friendly, and Ladies Night is fun. I ve played in quite a few local shops and I feel the most at home here. I ll continue to play here as long as Bell s is around.

Absolutely love get to spend time in this shop when I can. I love getting to see all of the beautiful people come together and celebrate their favorite hobbies. the owner does an amazing job to make sure everyone is welcomed and has an amazing time. If you are looking for a home away from home then this is the place for you. I so enjoy being a vender at the bells bazar every month. Mike is a one man show and works so hard to keep the shop amazing and for that I think it s time we say thank you Mike for all that you do we so appreciate everything.

There are so many gaming options that we almost couldn t decide what to play, with all the demo games, offers to borrow MTG decks and just general friendliness it s a shop we will go back to time and time again. The table fee of $4 for all day game play is a win in my book.

Love this place! Always a very safe and comfortable vibe no matter whats going on. Had my kiddos birthday party here, and its a great deal at $150/4 hours for an entirely private space. He had no problems with us putting down tablecloths and letting the kids paint, and we were able to Netflix a movie on the TV in the back room!

I was really looking forward to visiting this place today, but like one of the newer reviews said, it was closed. The last couple of reviews make me think I ll go somewhere else. The response from the owner to the woman was hateful and childish. I can t imagine a business owner responding to a review like that! It makes me wonder if any review that isn t five stars gets removed. Very suspicious.

first time coming, I was super excited since this is the only place that has sorcery; contested realm packs. However when I got here the door was locked even though I got here at 4:10 and it opens at 4, no big deal so I call just to see what s up and I got no answer so I messaged them on facebook and the very kind social media manager responded and let me know the owner is running late. But it s now been an hour and 10 minutes and nobody is here. Maybe my review will change if the owner ever shows up and I can get my dang cards !! update: owner showed up at 5:12 a full hour and 12 minutes later, oh and my comment was deleted i m not trying to be rude but it s just a little unprofessional and to go after people who give valid criticism (something that happens to everyone btw) it s pretty rude to go after those people I spent a lot of money here despite waiting an hour and i m happy with my purchase but I felt like I was bothering the worker by being there right when they opened, which was over an hour after the posted time. cool store overall but really unprofessional

Went to Austin for business for a couple weeks and brought some of my magic cards with me. Checked out a few stores in the area, and this store was awesome. Was a cozy environment filled with very friendly people and had a lot of good energy. The owner Mike is a very cool guy and has pleasant to talk to. He has some of the best prices in the area and is actively trying to build a community of players. All the events I played there were packed with fun, had great turnouts, and definitely made some friends. This place is one my list for places to return when I come back to Austin.

Bells is an excellent game store in a beautiful town that deserves so much more than its getting. I was greeted politely and happily when I walked in, the store owner was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the games he had on his shelves, and the array of games showcased depth of knowledge on the subject of high quality and fun games. There are a plethora of gaming tables available that will provide a much better gaming experience than online can grant, and have the benefit of a wonderful shopkeep to help answer questions and solve problems. You should stop by Bells and spend a little time: youll realize what a gaming experience is supposed to be like!

I wish I had found Bells earlier! I had a great experience shopping there tonight, and I look forward to coming back for events. I cant wait to bring my crew for games. Michael was super informative and helpful, and I felt very welcomed, which unfortunately is an unusual experience in a lot of game and comic shops. The shop selection is great (especially for MtG cards - I saw some packs that I havent seen anywhere but online), and I got a really incredible deal on a boardgame. Game table prices are an absolute steal, and the whole area looks really versatile. Again, I was just really pleased with how personable and enthusiastic Michael was while I shopped and asked questions. I am super casual about my d&d, mtg, and gaming life; other shops have been really rude and dismissive of me for it, but at Bells I felt respected and engaged. 10/10 recommend this tucked away gem!

Bottom Line: Come here for a welcoming environment and knowledgeable store owner. I m new to the current Magic scene, but not new to the gameplay. I walked in as the owner opened the shop and he was extremely helpful in fielding all my questions about the different ways to play, the current state of the game, and the community and atmosphere of his regular customers. He was very intentional in figuring out exactly what interested me the most and I never felt like I was being upsold on anything. Even when I chose something most players haven t been enjoying, he wasn t shy in explaining the gimmicks around it and why it might not be the most efficient purchase. Great Experience and Would Highly Recommend!

This is a lovely game store, although a little cramped. DnD, MTG, miniatures, paints, and board games line the walls. In the pre-covid times it was a common neighborhood hangout. The owner is super friendly and makes sure you feel at home while you are there.

One of the few remaining gaming shops in Round Rock area I highly recommend them! Michael is a exceptional owner striving to remain open despite covid shutting down his primary methods of income which were in the past to host tournaments that would pack the entire building. Highly recommend him for your next board game or magic the gathering purchase or purchase of miniatures they also specialize in paintings workshops. Also they now cater to vintage video games with an exceptional selection and great prices. They also have a space in which to rent out for special events as long as within the restrictions of Williamson county during quarantine as we continue to get through covid. They have drinks snacks Wi-Fi tables seats and Michael doesnt exceptional job making sure the place is clean at all times to the best ability. They also do pre-orders and special orders for those d&d players and also do d&d board game nights and d&d support for all kinds of different groups throughout Central Texas. Whether its just for some vintage dice or that next board game to keep yourself going during these covid times bells gaming center is the place I highly recommend to visit open almost every day.

Michael expanded this store from what once was another gaming store that got prices out of their spot Has been a lore of all thing MTG Magic and eagerly await resuming tournaments post covid. Family Game day success! My wife, three kids and myself agreed that we wanted a new gaming experience, so we all decided on Magic . We found Bells on google. From the moment we walked into this establishment to the time we left, we felt welcomed. Bells Gaming Center took the time and taught all five of us the rudiment of Magic and pollinated us with the will to win, and showed us how to have fun playing. Great place for all your paper and digital gaming needs. The owner is not only very knowledgeable accommodating, he also strives to aide the community in opening his doors to those that need a safe and stimulating place to be! He can order things he may not have that your looking for and has wonderful organization as well as a great singing voice if you stay for fun karekoke. This is a wholehearted 5 stars. Friendliest, funnest, homiest, helpfulest game shop in the area. Ive been going to Bells once or twice a week for half a year now and have never regretted the time Ive spent there. UPDATE: There are a few older reviews out here that mention the size of the place being the only downside; well, Bells has recently expanded to more than double (close to triple?) the tables and usable space. If the close quarters were an issue for you, I suggest you check it out!

From securing an out of stock everywhere play mat to rescuing the last night of a year and a half long DnD campaign. I couldnt be happier. Fun place to play MTG tournaments. Very small but the shop owner cares about everyone having fun and helping out. They have better than average buylist prices but it is only for store credit, not cash. Their prices are the same as most other places so if you want to trade in and buy other MTG stuff, this is the place to go. There is also a good selection of nice card sleeves.

One amazing game shop! The owner, Mike, is super nice and will help you find whatever you need. They have tons of events for DnD, Magic, board games, and just about everything else. If youre a mini fanatic like me, this is 100% the game store for you. Bells has a wall to wall selection of Reaper minis, organized by item number, and Mike is more than happy to help you find the one youre looking for. For your DnD games, they have a closed off back room with a TV and Chromecast so you can be a high-tech DM. The room stays quiet, so you can actually hear your DM and fellow players! There are drinks and snacks for sale in the shop to keep you full and happy while playing. The entire place is kept nice and clean. No sketchy game-store bathrooms here. 10/10 this is my favorite game store Ive been to in Austin, hands down.
