What a shame the food is so awful at this Colombian restaurant. They should take advantage of their position as one of the few Colombian restaurants in the city and focus on making delicious food to be a success. I would recommend that you try the food and service at Risaralda Bakery in Houston, since the experience is perfect. Im from Medellín and I live in Austin, but when I want to eat Colombian food, I go to Houston because of the excellent service and delicious food they offer. In both Colombia flavor restaurants the food you serve is bad, being even worse in Round Rock, as is the service. It would be beneficial to hire Colombian women who know how to cook, experienced bakers and committed waitresses and to have their employees paid, as it has a reputation for paying very poorly. Owners should lead by example and put aside their pride to treat customers with respect, kindness, and love instead of making them feel as if entering their business is a privilege. The name Sabor Colombia does not do justice to Colombian culture, since the food and service offered are of low quality. Its a shame that the food is so bad and the price is high without justification. It is important that they improve the quality of the food and the service to adequately represent the rich Colombian gastronomy. My friends daughter gave a bad review and they respond that it is a conflict of interest. What conflicts of interest can a 17-year-old girl have with a restaurant??? If you write a bad review, they ask for proof, but how do you give proof of bad service and bad taste in the food? It is NOT a misunderstanding. Why are there so many bad reviews of the same thing? Bad service and poorly prepared meals. I will be back next week and if this changes I will write it in capital letters and congratulate you. It is not a large restaurant, it is something small and simple. I give the food a 7/10, the beans didnt taste like anything and were watery. I ordered a Michelada and received a beer with lemon and salt, I ordered a chocoflan and it was average, we didnt like it. I pushed him without having anything to do with it... I told him that Im inside, calm down, that the problem is not with me and his words were that he took me out because he felt like I had to watch the game from the outside. Obviously, I am a customer and I was consuming inside the establishment when just at that moment he pushed me several times and where we ended up hitting each other and breaking my eyebrow and head... What a sad experience. I ordered the specialty paisa bean casserole, which even with all the jar of salt I couldnt get the slightest flavor out of. The blood sausage was terrible and I couldnt go further than a small bite . The arepa stuffed with cheese is also a disappointment, it shows that they use the arepas that come frozen and they only put a piece of cheese between two arepas. Apart from the fact that they separately sell the BREAD dough that they could be using, they end up sacrificing a lot by taking the easy way out of using something frozen, the same with the mature ones with cheese. A box of 10 at Walmart costs $3 but here they charge $8 for 6 with a piece of cheese on top, what a shame. The empanada was very average, half of the empanada came empty but hey, at least they had pink sauce and chili. There are certain things that I understand, it is not always easy to get certain products or ingredients that are native to Colombia, but I am sure that if they would at least put the slightest effort into honoring the Colombian flavor this would be a great restaurant like they are in Houston . What sent me over the edge so to speak was the service from the waitress, there was a point at which we were the only table occupied in the restaurant and what a problem it was to get her to serve us, at the times when she was serving us. , attended with a terrible and arrogant attitude. I used to go to this place regularly. Today I went inside to pick up an order I placed over the phone. On the phone, the person who took my order sounded annoyed by my call. Once inside, I decided to get a roscón from the bakery section. The waitress that bagged the only roscón left on display was annoyed. I came home to eat the roscón and to my surprise it was hard as a rock and moldy inside and out. It was our first time in a Colombian food restaurant and I really loved the different gastronomic experience. We ordered a tray paisa with patacones and it was very delicious. The service was very attentive and the place is quite familiar, the only reason I gave it one less star was because it was a little noisy due to a celebration for a soccer game. The price is quite affordable and be careful with this, the tip is included in the payment receipt and is around 18%, or at least thats how it was for me and my partner. I looked with great happiness for this place to enjoy great Colombian food. And I trusted the stars and comments of this restaurant. First of all, the service was bad, I had to pay attention to the waitress so she could serve me. And secondly, the food had a smell of rot and pig skin in mud so as not to be so disgusting and direct. Im going on a super sad trip for 1:00 an hour to enjoy and Im very disappointed... I hope the owners are a little more attentive to improve the service.. But for my recommendation I dont recommend it at all.

Tatiana y Carolina are very sweet and friendly. I was practicing my poor Spanish but they were very patient and smiled to me, making me feel warm! The food was so good. I highly recommend the chicken empanada and the ajiaco. Will definitely come again!!!!

Excellent service and delicious food. My parents ate there for the first time and they loved it. Tatiana was very friendly and professional in the service. Even when we ask for added things or things we didnt see on the menu, I dont hesitate for a moment to make it possible. My husband and I have visited the restaurant on multiple occasions and have never had any complaints.

The rice was raw, the meat had no flavor and had an excessive amount of yellow color, the only Colombian thing in the restaurant is the name, I know that the products are different but it doesnt even have any seasoning. We arrived on Mothers Day, 8 adults and 2 children. The food did not cater for the entire group. First 3 people and they took time with the others. The food was cold and not delicious. They were late in serving us. The music was inside, having a stage outside. Where they could make the day very nice. Very bad service, cold and ugly food. This was terrible. And it is very expensive.

We wanted take-out but went inside to order since it was our first time. There were 3 waitresses standing around, none spoke English. They didn t even try and seem annoyed with us. The wait was long for our order, and we didn t realize until we checked the bill they charged extra for using a credit card! - However our empanadas were tasty as well as the plantain we ordered. I wouldn t recommend eating inside they were just as rude to the other customer who didn t know Spanish as they were to us.
