It s a great park. Me and my boyfriend go here for tennis. There s about two courts for tennis which is free for the public to play at. You can play pickleball as well. It s usually crowded until 10pm and the lights are going to be turned off at 11pm exactly.

Recently updated. Great equipment for children to play on. It has 2 tennis courts, an underground springfield pond with fish and ducks, and a walking trail, a large covered picinic area: concrete floor masonary walls and a roof, tables, and benches (This can be reserved through the city.)Restrooms. However, the park is small.

Beautiful, Serene, Mesmerizing !! This is the best park I have seen yet in Austin, Round Rock area. Small Pond with plenty of ducks, good small play things for kids, small party get together area nd very nice nature view .... everything u want for a calm, Serene evening.

A nice little park with swings, slides and a small lake nearby! There were bunch of ducks that little kids can play around. And even when it was really hot around 7pm, it felt okay to be around lake and not so hot. There is also good grass because of the shade around the lake. They have reatrooms as well, would definitely come back.

A beautiful park with a tennis court, sand volleyball, and a nice path with a pond for walking. The only thing is that the ducks and geese also seem to love it and a goose was laying right next to my car and became slightly aggressive when I was trying to open my door. Haha nature at its best!

I grew up in the 80s right around the corner from this park. So many memories of fishing, jumping off the cliffs, riding bikes with friends, and, of course, the ducks. I actually remember the entire lake being frozen over one winter. Good times back then!!

Its not the same part that I remember growing up with. They moved to pavilion and built a nicer playground. Its nice that the restrooms are no longer connected to the pavilion. There is now a volleyball court which is also pretty interesting. The pond looks more manicured and kid friendly.

For a park its pretty nice. It has a small pond, wildlife, a playground, benches, a tennis court and a small trail. The parking is ample and its peaceful. The trail is good to walk a small dog. If you are wanting to hike or ride a cycle, the trail is very short and not worth the effort to go here.

The dogs loved the trails and squirrels to chase. I wouldn t let the doggies dig in the volleyball pit, but they liked to roll around in sand . Water looked clean but I would not let dogs swim. Question: is it safe to let dogs swim in this lake in summer? I noticed it was running water, did not see algae.

Wide open spaces to relish the great outdoors even when in the big city. Clean restrooms and easy access to parking. ATX and the surrounding cities are top notch in their parks & rec division in spite of their road & bridge being so amiss. I enjoyed the comfort stop and appreciate that the supplies were well stocked.

Oh boy what an adventure this was. I went there to fish and witnessed at least 4 drug deals right in the parking lot. Then watched a woman who I can only assume was having an affair or she is paid by the hour, get into a truck that finally arrived after she waited for 30 minutes to show up. I occasionally saw the top of her head bob up and down right in front of the steering wheel where the nice man was sitting. He must have dropped his keys and she was just being super helpful by finding them for him..... Anyways, about the fishing portion of this review. My second cast, I reeled in a beautiful 2 pound maxi pad. It was a first for me and now my PB (personal best). I decided to move to another part of the pond when I noticed a group of teenagers who must have just got out of school, loitering by my truck. I saw one of them look to try and open my tailgate and decided to abandon my fishing adventures and remind this young person that if he didnt get away from the truck I would kindly break all his fingers and both arms. They quickly dispersed and I decided to call it a day. I give it 2 stars for the people watching.

Nice little park. I only went there to check out the fishing pond. Pretty good sized fishing pond. No where to really fish without a kayak. 95% of the cover/structure bass like are out of reach from shore. May be able to hook a stray or 2 when they venture out of hiding. I did not.
