This place is by FAR my favorite place to go to. This staff is AMAZING and so are the drinks. They are very knowledgeable and pay attention to detail with every drink that they make. You definitely feel welcomed from the time you enter until the time that you leave. Isaac, Keegan, Marisa, Angel, and Kallan are fantastic. In addition, they do seasonal decorations for holidays and decorate the bar and is worth to check out during those times when they do. I promise, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

Good atmosphere, cozy couches, the windows are tinted so it s nicely dimmed even during the day hours. The service is super fast, but could use some work. If you are not sitting at the bar counter the bartender will not deliver your drink to you or notify you when it is done.

I wanted to take a moment to share my recent experience at Hoot and Annie. I must say, it was truly exceptional! During my visit, Marissa provided us with an outstanding level of service. She took the time to guide us through the menu, giving detailed explanations about each item and even recommending some beverages that perfectly complemented the vibe. Her knowledge and passion for the offerings were truly impressive. Moreover, Marissa went above and beyond by sharing insights about the music playing in the background. Her explanations about the different genres and styles added an extra layer of enjoyment to our evening. I can confidently say that Marissa is a gem at Hoot and Annie. If youre wanting a fabulously made drink, look no further as they have some awesome cocktails. & Angel is the friggin best!! The atmosphere here is very cute. Love the wallpaper, the lighting, the couch, and the rest of the vibey aesthetic (I could go on!) ;) Throughout the year, they throw themed months where the bar takes on a cool temporary look and its decked out with a fun themed menu as well, so check it. Best place to get drinks in Downtown RR. These are actually bartenders, they know how to make delicious drinks and still have great service on top of that. l have yet to have a bad drink there, unlike most bars I have been to. They switch up the menu for special occasions and use fresh fruit. The bar itself is very small, but the decor is worth enjoying.

Cool spot but always short on bartenders. Frequently a 20-30 min line for drinks during busy times. They have a whisky heavy menu as well, so if thats not your thing, you may have trouble finding something you like here. Would love it if they added more variety to the menu. They decorate the bar often in themes such as Harry Potter or Elf and put a lot of time and effort into the decor but they just dont have the space or staffing to make it a *great* experience.

Purple haired late shift bar tender threatened to throw us our for being mean to a Marine, Marines are amazing and should be given nothing but love and respect. Been dying to check this spot out and it did not disappoint. We are HP and bomb cocktail buffs so this place was truly magical. We came on their busiest day, a Saturday night, so my one and only complaint is how crammed it is because its a small spot. Ironically, I have been to all the bars next to here and never noticed this spot (ironically goes with the platform 9 3/4 theme). We came at 11 pm and were able to snag a table from a group who was leaving thankfully. We were only going to stay for one drink, but they blew us away so we all got two rounds to try new ones. All of the cocktails are priced super fair if anything lower than normal prices for the amount of work and talent they put into them. Espresso martini: 11/10 - comes in extra chilled glass Smokey old fashion: 10/10 - let us carry the smokey box to the table (never had a bar allow that, super nice and chill of them) Confringo: 10/10 - a party of flavors in your mouth Bourbon Renewal: 10/10 - The bartender said it could be a hair on the sweeter side which I dont like so he nulled the sweetness and it came out PERFECT. They really outdid themselves with the atmosphere. The bartenders were all extremely kind and did not have an ounce of douchebaggery that typically comes with a really talented barista. We live in Manor and dont typically like coming out to Round Rock area to drink, but this spot is totally worth it for us. Look forward to coming back during a more chill time to really enjoy it.

Whenever we hang out around Downtown Round Rock, Hoot & Annie is our SPOT. The ambiance is cozy but still gives off quality cocktail bar vibes. They are attached to another bar that shares tabs, so going upstairs to the rooftop bar is pretty awesome. It sits right on the corner, the perfect spot to sit and observe that part of the city. They have craft cocktails that are so fun to drink and watch them make! So far I ve had the Painkiller, Paloma, Espresso Martini, and Look Hoos Talking. Each one of them 10/10! I never need more than one drink when visiting.

We were walking buy and wondering if we should go in a get a few drinks, group of 8, all mid 30s coming out from a nice dinner. The bouncer (I guess) standing outside, before we even decided to go in interrupted with you are not getting in, in those pants one of us wore puma pants. Nice cocktail bar overall, but left a bit to be desired... The ambiance is clean, but a bit too contrived. This quaint new cocktail lounge has a small number of bar seats and a handful of tables for guests. The mixologist was friendly and fairly helpful. Most drinks on the menu are fairly standard old school style cocktails. There are no prices on the menu, but we coincidentally stopped when it was happy hour, which meant $8- concoctions. The Oaxaca Old fashioned was well balanced and delicious. Overall it was a good experience, but left a bit more to be desired, such as character and comfort. Worth a stop if you re in the area and looking for something other than a bottle cap bar.

Found this little speakeasy while on a double date with friends. Definitely Harry Potter vibes with all the owls. The drinks are fantastic. They re more than just bartenders, they re mixologist with an insane amount of artistry. The drinks are old school classics and watching them make the drinks is half of the fun. Saturday through Tuesday I work until 10:30 pm and ride my bicycle home from work. Hoot & Annie is a bright spot on my commute! Last Saturday night, I was going by there close to midnight, somebody recognized me. Thank you---- It made me determined to check it out! There is a beautiful back bar and there is a window I could see into the place as I pass by, I am going through too much trouble to imbibe alcohol right now. It was nice to have a cute cocktail bar in Round Rock. It is very small and hard to tell how to order. Not an issue since we usually go downtown to speakeasy bars. I made a reservation but it didnt seem to mater. We walked in and waited around for a while because they where serving a party that was already there. Apparently reservations dont matter here because when I asked they said to sit wherever but the party there kinda took the whole space. The drinks were good and the service was good, it just took a while. I would be willing to try again.

Heard good things about this place. Decided to take my husband here for his birthday. Made reservations at 7:15 for 6 people (this number was an option to select which indicates they could seat a party of 6). Received a confirmation text and an additional text at 6:48 asking for me to respond with here when I ve arrived and they would text me when my table was ready. I text at 7:14 when we arrived, as instructed. It s a small place. We are afraid that maybe we re in the wrong part of the bar? The largest table is for 4 people and I don t know how they would have accommodated for 6 people. We sit .sit .husband decides to just get us a drink while we wait for this response from the place that our table is ready. Husband stands at the bar (not quite full) and gets no acknowledgement from the bar tender. It s 7:35 and we finally left to go to the Brass Tap. If I made a reservation for 7:15, why would my table not be ready when I arrived at 7:15? Not happy with the service, reservation system, communication or quite frankly, the facility as it appears they cannot accommodate a party of 6. Fantastic old school drinks. Old fashioned is right on par! Don t bother with the smoke though didn t add that much to the drink. Paper plane was also delicious. Ambiance is nice, chill and laid back. Perfect addition to downtown RR.

H&A is a super good scratch whiskey bar attached to The Round Rock Tavern. Inside its like a whole other place, quiet and chill. Whiskey cocktails made to order, from scratch (aka using egg whites when called for), etc. Super chill spot.

Had my birthday in the area and made my way into this awesome place. Cute decor, nice selection, and the staff was hilarious and super nice. Me and my group had most of the menu, but the espresso martini was definitely a favorite, were still talking about it! Well be back soon, for sure

Trevor acted like a petulant child when we ordered VERY BASIC drinks after he took 40 minutes to make on menu cocktails. To note: there were 6 people total including this guy in the bar. No reason to take almost an hour to make two of the same cocktails. We went f to another bar ( upstairs ) , got drinks and he proceeded to lie and say he cut us off. When we asked for what behaviors? He had no reason. The manager agreed and said there was no reason. Fast forward, same petulant bartender proceeds to say that a certain business (which I worked for 9byears) was part of a larger parent company. I corrected Trevor and let him know his understanding was off base and that there was no larger company by the name he had in his feeble brain, he proceeded to throw an adult temperature tantrum and tell us that we were out of control. Of all the things in this world I am, out of control is NEVER one of them. The other bartender was legitimate, but atrevor. Not cool. Thumbs down.

Atmosphere is awesome! There s a choice of chilling downstairs where we had the privilege of watching Trevor make some mean and delicious drinks. He is very knowledgeable and looks like he s been making drinks forever! We had so much fun looking through the selection of liquor. The hardest part was deciding what we wanted because there s so much to choose from. There s also the upstairs in the covered roof patio. Ambiance is fun yet relaxing. We will explore that more on our next visit. Definitely can t wait to go back! My mouth is watering as I m writing this and thinking about what I ll try next!
