We have been regulars at Fireside for many years now and it continues to be one of our favorite stops for lunch! Prices are very good and the food quality is excellent. The guacamole is the best I ve had and my granddaughter eats it by the spoonful !! My favorite tacos are the Firefighter Shrimp and the Yellowjacket chicken. The green salsa which is roasted jalapeño is unique and delicious!! If you haven t been yet you really should give them a try!!

The owner was very rude and very discriminatory towards my colleagues and I, he made a racist statement after we no longer wanted to eat any of the food because we found hairs in our food, it was a very unpleasant experience, his comment that was racist was I will help them first because they are good customers referring to the white men that walked into the restaurants, people of color please do not eat here, he did not have a single table that witnessed the situation, I ve contacted a friend of mine who is a health inspector because I m pregnant and the food was making me sick, I ve also made a post on my TikTok about this restaurant, like I said people of color do not eat here at all the owner is racist and only attempts good customer service to white people.

I recently dined at Fireside Chicken and Tacos (Rockwall location) and had a mixed experience. While the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere warm and inviting, the food quality left much to be desired. The carne asada was tough, making it difficult to enjoy. Additionally, the chicken was overcooked and dry, which was quite disappointing considering the restaurant s focus on grilled items. Despite the food issues, the positive aspects of the service and ambiance are worth mentioning. The staff were courteous and quick to assist, and the setting provided a cozy environment for a meal. Overall, if Fireside Chicken and Tacos can improve the quality of their dishes, it would be a much more enjoyable dining experience.

The food was really just ok. The steak was tough and lacked the distinct flavors we ve grown up with. The birria was nice and tender, but super greasy and again lacked flavor. The chips that came out with salsa at the beginning were great, but the chips with the nachos were not. The salsas are also watered down. Don t think we will be trying them again

I went in to pay for my food I ordered online. I was emailed a 10% off your next purchase. It was emailed from fireside and they use clover for their tap to pay. When I went to scan didnt work. And all I got is it doesnt work and that maybe its expired(the email is from 7 days ago).There is no expiration but they still couldnt honor it. So Id say dont waste your time giving an email address especially if they make every excuse to not honor their returning customers.

Menu is quite simple and food is delicious. We ordered birria tacos and a quarter portion of the rotisserie chicken. Birria tacos were stuffed with meat, my only complaint was that the consomé was served in a small sauce container. Rotisserie chicken was tender, seasoned very well and came with a side of veggies(zucchini & onions). Both plates had generous portions. Ive noticed that there isnt pork on their menu, the pastor tacos were chicken. Womens Restroom is well maintained and doesnt smell. Theres a small arcade/game area for children. I placed a catering order with these guys 2 hours before I needed it, and somehow, they were able to fill the order. I dropped it off with one of my customers. They put on an awesome spread for the price and it comes with all of the serving utensils as well. Everything looks so good that I decided to come back for lunch. I spoke with one of the managers and he recognized me from when I stopped in for the catering pick up. I believe his name was adrian. He was super Hospital and friendly. The food was delicious, well seasoned and fresh. Not only will I be back for lunch again in the future but will be doing many more catering orders with this company.

Hidden away and I cannot believe 7 years and I never have got to know this awesomeness. A must do. Wow. Best flavor rotisserie I have ever had. I am so impressed with this place. This is counter serve, casual dining. They reminded me a lot of San Diego taco places with the huge menu. They have steak, fish and chicken tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. They even have ground beef tacos. I ordered the grilled chicken and beef tacos, it came with beans and rice, with warm tortillas. It was enough for 3 people but I wanted to try the different foods. Music in the place was country, pictures of food and texas wall decor, with booths and tables. Self serve beverages, free chips and salsa. The green salsa is spicy, red is mild with a kick. My family and I have been here several times and have always had a pretty good experience. This time was a little different. When we walked in there was only one other family sitting inside. And it looked like they were almost through with their meal, as some were getting ready to leave the table. As we approached the counter, the woman asked us what we would like. Though attentive, she was really personable. She showed emotion helping my son with the video games. Our food arrived. My wife ordered the three tacos and I ordered the Smooth Criminal burrito. My wife ate one of her Al pastor tacos. But said it was extremely dry. So much that she couldn t eat any of the other two. I get my burrito, but looking it, it looks sooo good. I cut into and the first bite was just that. Delicious. Second bite had some meat in it as well as potatoes. I don t know what it was, it was really dry. And as I ate more I ran into big fatty pieces of meat. The only saving grace was pouring queso on it. Not going to lie, I did finish it. Hey, I was hungry. lol. Though we will most likely come back, because I said, other times was great. I will probably order something different.

We tried Fireside tonight because we were in the North Dallas area. We dined at the location off Midway Rd. What a great experience! Food was delicious! The complimentary chips and salsa were great. When you eat in a fast food restaurant, you do not tip. At Fireside C & T, I stood in line to order my food, filled my own drink, and cleaned up my table. The only service was the food was delivered to us, just like Whataburger. Beyond that, there was no service. To be fair, the food is good here. Im just speaking to the tipping trend thats popping up in many low service establishments. Why in the world, other than a money grab, did I have to stand in front of the order taker and select a tip amount. They are looking right at me, which was very confrontational. Im old school, a tip is the customers way of saying, I liked my experience here. Todays version of a tip is to put me under pressure to pay extra before service is rendered, and it was especially irritating for them to expect a tip when there isnt a commensurate level of service! There are plenty of good food establishments that do not pressure me for a tip, up front... without service. I choose to eat somewhere else!

Our first time ever eating at the restaurant and I got the chicken al pastor and pibil tacos along with chicken al pastor burrito. My wife got the chicken pastor bowl. We both had to get to go boxes the portions are quite large. One thing that sets them apart is the protein portions is very large they dont try to fill you up with fillers like rice etc. Food tastes great, we will definitely be back. Owner was super helpful explaining the menu and we definitely recommend the chicken al pastor and pibil. We really liked the big American flag on each wall also. Loved that.

Overall impression: solid rotisserie chicken! Generous portions for the price. Service was friendly! Fireside Chicken and Tacos has a cute 50s diner feel with a Mexican/rotisserie chicken shop twist. There is a game room (with classic arcade games) in the back for the kids to enjoy while dining here (adult supervision required). This is a counter order establishment: order at the counter and your food will be brought out to you. Please clean up after yourselves! There are stations to return the baskets and throw out your trash. The rotisserie chicken was juicy, and very well seasoned! The meat fell off the bones kind of tender! The mashed potatoes were good, but wish I had a bit of gravy to go with it!

Best taco joint I ve had! They don t just have tacos but a full menu of great food including a whole chicken. If you haven t tried Fireside you need to. The customer service is great and the food is even better. Give them a try, you won t be disappointed!

I ordered the fireside flauta special. The chicken was flavorful, although the flauta itself was a challenge to cut into. It was just too hard & having to use plastic ware made it more difficult. They definitely should invest in actual silverware. The vegetables that were served alongside the meal lacked flavor, and I just left them. Tres Leches was pretty good. As far as service goes, I was greeted upon entering. That was it though, no one came by the table to check on me.

Fireside Chicken and Tacos Review Do you all know how often you ve driven by this place on the highway up on the hill from Super Walmart? This place is outstanding! I m here now picking up lunch for my homeboys and I. 10 of us today. Trying out their new Quesabirria Tacos and can t wait to devour them. FANTASTIC! We tried this place on a whim and it was the BEST surprise! The service was fast, the place is spanky clean, the food is AWESOME! We got Baja Tacos (Crispy Fish = Amazing) and a Smooth Criminal without potatoes and they were just wonderful. Best fish tacos Ive had in ages and the steak in the burrito was so good! Highly recommend, plus a game room and comfy seating? Win win all the way around.

I tried Fireside for the first time last week. I ordered the Cuesabirria tacos, the beef is cooked for twelve hours and the chilies they use come from different regions of Mexico. I loved every last bite! I also had the Poblano soup, it was also delicious and I loved it as well! Their salsa or dipping sauce reminded me of homemade Tomatias sauce, but creamier, it was perfectly spicy and good. I will definitely be back. I would recommend this new place to anyone.

I get the two taco plate with roasted veggies and fireside slaw here, with two chicken pibil tacos. It s a delicious balanced meal when paired with the dine-in chips and salsa. My boyfriend got the oven roasted chicken today with pinto beans and fries, he usually gets fireside steak sub. Everything is always amazing. The list of available sides is diverse and we haven t tried anything we don t like. Some of the entrees even come with a beverage! I definitely recommend this place for a hot, fresh and valuable meal.

Delicious fish tacos! Their green and red salsas are always fresh and flavorful complimentary served with crispy tortilla chips that are fresh as well and never stale. Friendly service, nice and simple dinning area thats kept very clean. Restrooms are kept well clean. Small play area with a couple of arcade games and soccer table to be enjoyed by both young kids and old while you wait for your food order which doesnt take long. Definitely recommended.

The rotisserie chicken was full of flavor, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Ordered chicken wings for my son and chips and Queso for appetizer. This place has a very Mexican vibe with street tacos, Quesadillas and Carne. The lady who took the order was not super friendly, just kind of dry and didnt smile once. Ordered queso and guac on doordash well it was false advertising the cheese and guacamole are in tiny containers compared to the picture. Cheese isnt even homemade its from a can for $6 & change doordash should make companies post pictures of their actual product what a rip off. Great place for tacos and burritos. They sale other things, but thats the only 2 things I get while going here. Steak is the best meat to get and is also the heartiest. Its about $3 a taco (about the size of my hand) including tax. 3 fills me up just fine. The burrito is about $9 but it is very large. The also give free chips and salsa when you order. So if you leave hungry thats your choice. The free salsa makes this place totally worth it. Parking: It is shared parking with the other stores near it. So its first come first serve. During busy hours it will be very hard to get good parking. Kid-friendliness: There is an arcade-like area that is free to play. It has Foosball and some mini arcade games. Does require parent supervision, however.

Ordered a few tacos but was not blown away by the taste or flavor compared to other authentic Mexican restaurants. Ordered two 16 oz sides of rice and was initially given two 6 oz sides of rice. Thank God Torchys is coming to town. This place was terrible. I cant believe this place has such good ratings. The absolute worst potato wedges, they tasted like like they were made first thing in the morning, kept under a warmer all day then refried at dinner time when I ordered it. In fact all the food tasted old. Two stars because the green hot sauce was dang good (the only thing that was). Edited to reply yo the owner: we ate it immediately after a 10 minute drive from your establishment to our house.

Walked in to get lunch here today. First time here. The lady at the register asked what she could get me and I said I didn t know, it was my first time here and did she have any suggestions? Well, I couldnt hear a word that came out of her mouth, she was like whispering and pointing and it was kinda loud in there even though it was pretty dead. I decided to order the (2) yellow jacket tacos and I asked her if any sides came with it or if it was just the two tacos and she said no it s just the tacos but they are a really good size, so I said ok. I ll tell you now they weren t a good size and a complete rip off at $8 for two measly tacos. Also, I am very confused as to why these are called yellow jacket tacos, very cool name but no spice to back it up! like there wasn t even a hint of spice. I got my food quickly tho and they were definitely unique tacos but most likely I won t be back and I wouldn t recommend.

I was in town for business and was looking for some tacos. I googled tacos and ended up here. The place is OK visually. Just OK. I ordered a 2 steak taco plate with rice and beans. Also ordered some chips and guac. I kinda like the chips and guac. Basic but tasty IMHO. I really liked how the tortillas was a bit crispy. Good touch. The steak was decent. Not great. The rice was bland. The beans were bland as well. The red salsa was too watery IMHO. The green salsa was OK. Based on my experience, I would not go back if I was in town.

Well had to try something new in chicken and i have to say i wasnt disappointed. They have tacos all different kinds of meats and some great chicken ordered the chicken avocados with vegetables great plate and my wife orderd the baked chicken plate and that was a great choice also. Very friendly and great atmosphere. Enjoy
