Highly recommend Sandknop Health Group Family Practice. My family and I have been using them for many, many years and have always been treated with upmost courtesy and respect starting from the receptionists (Sandra is amazing - thank you) to the doctors (Sandknop, Becky, Jeff and Sara - thank you). I always recommend them to family and friends. If youre looking for a family practice give them a try.

Dr. Sandknop is a caring person, and he and all his associates are wonderful to work with. Like all offices, they get busy, but they never drop the ball.

Their company policies should seriously be reconsidered. The lack of empathy for their patients is quite astounding. The past year I have been going to a small local pharmacy due to a shortage in the medication I have been taking since I was 14-years old. Well, they ran out and said it would likely be 3 weeks to a month before they had it stock again. I had to find a different pharmacy that did have it stock (not easy) and called the Sandknop Office to get it transferred to the other pharmacy. You always have to leave a message. You can t ever talk to someone directly. Maybe they call you that day, the next day, or the following week I received a call back from Quinn (Rickert s Assistant) who was immediately combative stating that they WOULD NOT transfer my prescription and that it s company policy . I then called the small pharmacy and had them write a letter to Sandknop group asking that they transfer it to pharmacy that I had found. They denied it this morning. The shortage is not the fault of anyone, but the fact that they will not transfer the medications is negligent. I like Rickert and I liked his other assistant Pam, but whoever this Quinn person should not be handling any sort of communication with their patients. I left a voicemail to talk with Rickert and have not heard anything. Sandknop s office policies are flawed and denying a pharmacy and patient s request is no joking matter. Since I can t get in touch with anyone I guess I have to write reviews. If you are looking for a new doctor this is not the place if you want a good experience with your health care. Take your money elsewhere.

Its always easy to send an emotional response to a negative experience. Being in healthcare myself, I would like to provide feedback and give credit when credit is due. Changing primary care providers after 15 years was unsettling at first. I wanted to commend the entire team at Sandknop Health Group for providing a 5-star patient experience. The process was extremely smooth and efficient checking in and checking out. Super huge props to Dr. Kumar, who is an extremely attentive listener, super knowledgeable, and a great communicator, which eliminated any anxiety I had about changing providers and discussing my health after all of these years. Thank you Sandknop Health Group!

I feel neglected by Dr. KUMAR. I wonder if Sandknop just does not like Baby Boomers. I would not suggest this practice if you are Elderly.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I moved to TX in July and struggled to find a PCP that could treat me comprehensively given my medical history. After fighting with Dr. Kumar and his staff to simply prescribe my meds since Sept... I am done. He was more interested in pushing HRT (which is 100% out of pocket) and less in having his staff simply submitting a pre-auth to get my routine meds. Dont bother sending messages, they are not returned time, if at all. And the option to leave voicemail doesnt work either as it hangs up on you after 5 seconds. Time to find a more reliable doctor and staff.

Dr. Sandknop, as a patient--thank you for taking care of me and my family since I was a baby. As a person, thank you for being one of the few who believed in me all these years. I have learned so much from you in how you serve your community, how you communicate with your patients, and how you treat others. Thank you for everything! Becky, youve given more to my family than you will ever know. I am truly honored that Ive gotten to learn from your experience and thank you again so much for taking care of me and my mom all these years. Wanda, if you are reading this--we love you! Jeff, youve helped me look at things with sports and life with some tough love. As a patient of yours, thank you for all that you have done for me and my dad. Youve really helped us out in when we needed you! Sandra, I always look forward to checking into with you and being around your positive energy. Please never lose that! Dr. Vineeth, I am so proud of you man! From a fellow Austin College Roo to another, it has been an honor to be your patient! Sarah Hensley, you were very kind to get me in on such notice recently. Very professional and courteous! Sandknop Health Group will forever be a place that I will refer my patients to. I am grateful to serve in the same hometown community as yall here Rockwall! I have come here for a long time, I normally see Jeff. The past two years, every single time I am up here, I wait over an hour past my appointment time. I dont understand. I show up early and then just wait forever. Im writing this as I sit and wait for my appointment today. Other people have come in and waited 5 minutes for their appointment. Im talking 10-12 people that showed up after me and are leaving before I even see my doctor, which is Kumar today because Jeff isnt here. I kept coming here because they know me but I just dont think it is worth it for me now. No one says anything to me while I sit and wait, to reassure me that Im even going to be seen. They just fiddle around at the desk, awkwardly looking at me every now and then.

Do not deal with Dr. Kumar or his assistant. The worst experience I ve ever had. Was sick with covid took short term disability for 2 weeks as I couldn t do anything, had FMLA and short term disability papers asked Dr. Kumars horrible assistant, if they d sign them so I can get paid and you know, keep my job. Which she responded Dr.Kumar doesn t do that no further explanation. So I can t return to work, and I will not be paid for the time I was out, so my bills aren t going to get paid this month thanks to them. Avoid this practice at all cost.
