Dr. Akhil Vats is taking really good care of me and my families health. He is excellent, very experienced, very polite and supportive. He shares the health reports with you one on one and explains how s your overall health and how to improve your health conditions. If he is treating you for your health then you are in good hands.

I dont usually write reviews, but I had a pleasant experience and had to do so. I highly recommend Dr. Vats! He listens and gives advice on what will help. In addition, he has a personable personality that helps him in his work. In the past, I have gone to black female doctors because I wanted someone like me to treat me, but I did not have a great experience. It isnt the same for Dr. Vats. I m glad I went to him.

Dr. Vats is amazing! My mom recently was hospitalized for sepsis that was caused by a wound she got from prior hospitalization at another hospital when she got pneumonia. Anyways, I knew that she was going to need to see her PCP more, but I, also, knew that I wanted a better PCP than the one she had previously because they didnt seem to care. I know she is disabled and on Molina medicaid, but that shouldnt devalue her healthcare. We found him and are truly appreciative! Dr.Vats is so very attentive and caring. He truly listens and does everything to make sure you get the care you need including finding specialist that take your insurance. The office is super clean and the patient care coordinators at the front desk are friendly which from experience in working in healthcare can really make or break a providers office. He goes above and beyond for you! I have already recommended him to others. Thanks so much to Dr.Vats and his team!!!

If you re wanting to get a referral this place is a joke. You ll wait months. My husband has been hospitalized twice in the past two months, but we couldn t get a referral for an eye doctor. He almost lost his sight. This place is a joke.

I had my first visit with Dr Vats today .... I feel like I found a good doctor and a pleasant man to talk to .... He reminds me of how Doctors used to be long ago , and I believe he truly cares about his patients health and well being .... Very patient guy , (I talk alot) and he acted like he cared about what I was saying ..... I like the guy and will recommend him to anyone , in fact I just recommended him to my wife !!!! lol ..... I trust Dr Vats and Nurse Gera , I also believe they are good health care providers , and all the staff seem like nice people ..... I just went through TWO other Doctors in 6 months , they seemed like they were intellectually smart , but they were kooky and weird , plus one of those Doctors gave me a hard time about refilling the very BP prescription he prescribed me !!! Thats absurd , Im talking critical BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICINE !!! .... Dr Vats is just a down to earth normal guy , someone you have a real conversation with , and someone you can trust .... I am a good judge of character , and hes a good guy , I recommend him to anyone ..... Oh and another thing I really like , hes not complicated and signing up with him doesnt require I write an online PhD thesis , a few simple questions and done , the process was much better , no clutter , just the brass tacks get down to business questions and I didnt have to spend an hour and a half on the computer ..... Wonderful service and staff!! I can t remember the last time I had a doctors appointment that actually started on time. They had me in a few minutes BEFORE my scheduled time. Dr. Vats was excellent! This was my first visit. I m used to other offices where a nurse or assistant will take you back from the waiting room. Then they take your medical history and vitals then the doctor enters and you have to repeat things. It such a waste of time. However, Dr. Vats took me back from the waiting room and did my entire patient history himself. He was great talking through all of my concerns. Happy to have found such a great new practitioner.

I want to say thank you to Dr Vats for taking care of my late grandmother. He used to come at our home to make her comfortable. My family and I have been going to Meerak Health for years. They do a wonderful job of creating a welcoming environment, listening to your concerns, provide excellent care, and make sure you stay healthy. The appointments never feel rushed and we feel satisfied afterwards. After years of PCP care, we can confidently say that we found a PCP Dr Vats that we can rely on for life. Dr. Vats met with my mother, and I had the opportunity to be there during the visit. I was so impressed with his bedside manner and professionalism that I changed him to my doctor as well. I did not regret it. He is a very thorough doctor that is compassionate as well. I appreciate his office staff as well. They care about their patients as well, which is not easy to find. Very easy to get an appointment. All of the providers have incredible bedside manners. You never feel rushed at all. Im most impressed by their follow up, responsiveness, and their really taking the time to follow through on your healthcare. Where other doctors have just written you a prescription to get you out of their office quickly, Merak insists on regular visits and bloodwork to make sure everything is working. Heres an example: a friend of mine (M55) was put on testosterone by his doctor with zero follow up. Its a pretty high dose (2mg/week). He tore a muscle at the gym and got horrible blood clots, which is a side effect of too much testosterone. Merak tests my blood every 3 months, has me donating blood to keep it thin, and keeps my dosage lower so that my T levels are in the normal range. In other words, they are keeping me safe and healthy. Its a hassle, sure, but responsible medicine which Im grateful for.

By far the best doctor I have had in my entire life. I have suffered from multiple Chronic Illness and Debilitating Conditions since I was 12. Every doctor I have had has dismissed me as being to complex because all the various issues being to much for them to treat. Dr. Vats from day one listened to everything I already had been diagnosed with, and listen to my current issues that havent been diagnosed, and accepted that I was complex. He heard my plea for help and understanding. He decided it wasnt to much for him or to complex for him. He understood most of my issues have been diagnosed but have gone untreated for so long that treating everything at once would be a system shock so we would have to go at it one or two problems at once. Starting at the worst ones that could be a big problem quicker. If I ever have a problem I know I can call or email him or his staff and get it handled. I have never had a doctor or his staff follow up the way they do with me and the pharmacy. The hardest choice for me was choosing between being able to continue my current insurance to keep Dr. Vats and is wonderful team or be able to get dental care I need. He assured me that they will try their best if not will work with my new doctor to make sure they know everything. Regardless after my teeth are fixed I will be switching back to the insurance and go back to Dr. Vats ASAP. He is care oriented.

I absolutely love nurse practitioner, Victoria Tran! It s so nice to have such a professional and empathetic health care provider. I never felt rushed and when I shared my concerns she let me know my options to get to an end result I liked. I m a stay at home mom so my preschooler attends all my appointments with me and she was so sweet towards him. I look forward to future appointments with her. My family and I have been going to this office with both Dr. Tran and Dr. Vats (both) for over 6 months now and they are Amazing. PCP care can sometimes get frustrating, but they (and the secretaries) do a wonderful job of creating a welcoming environment, listening to your concerns, proving you with excellent care, and making sure you stay healthy ^-^. They have a positive environment at their office and it s very neat and tidy (even the chairs are comfy lol). The appointments never feel rushed and we feel satisfied afterwards. After years of PCP care, we can confidently say that we found a PCP that we can rely on for life. Thank you to the amazing people that work at this office and I would 11/10 recommend you to come and visit this office (even if it s for a tester appointment). :)
