I drive 30+ minutes just to make sure my dog Bear sees Dr. Kim. She is absolutely fantastic. She treats bear like her own and always goes above and beyond. She always works with me to get him the best quality care he deserves. She s been with Bear since his pre-amputation, tumors in his abdomen, and x2 enlarged prostate. I don t trust anyone else to see him beside Dr. Kim and Dr. Kim only. We adopted another dog named Magnus and she takes just as amazing care for him as she does for Bear. The front staff is also amazing, patient and will do their best to find the right answer for my babies. Highly recommend this office!

Cedar Park Pet Care, formerly Griffith Cedar Park has been out vet office for 20+ years. Starting with our cat Dajua for 16 years to our pups for 14 years. The vets are world class and entire team provides great professional, knowledgeable and compassionate care for our pets and us. They continue to care for our new fur babies, Ozzy and Zena. I wholeheartedly reccomend Cedar Park Pet Care.

I moved to Cedar Park 3.5 years ago and found Cypress Creek shortly thereafter. I have a now 15 year old miniature dachshund who never had any health concerns and essentially only needed a vet for annual wellness exams and vaccinations. I was never blown away by the service but it was decent overall. No one extremely personable or extraordinarily compassionate but again given my dog s needs (or lack thereof), I overlooked it. Fast forward to this years annual exam and my dog has now developed a heart murmur, has elevated ALT levels and I asked if they could explore an arthritis diagnosis given her stiffness and lack of mobility recently along with dry skin and a dull coat. Every time I asked a question or expressed concern, I was brushed off and told everything was just age related. Even after pushing for more answers, I continued to get pushback but was finally told that we could do an abdominal ultrasound and chest Xray. I was never offered any alternatives or specialist referrals. Everything felt rushed and impersonal. I was also told that they don t know when their ultrasound company would be by to schedule appointments and to just keep calling back or wait for a call from them . After nearly 3 months of getting the run around with zero answers, zero resolution and absolutely ZERO care or attention to me or my Dog, I decided to switch vets. Within one visit at our new vet I now have a scheduled echocardiogram, abdominal ultrasound and chest X-ray, full lab work up and an in depth care plan moving forward. All because they listened to my concerns, paid attention to my dog, asked in depth and probing questions about her overall health and symptoms. They offered solutions rather than seeming to be put out by my concern. This same lackadaisical attitude has been shown to me by every person I ve come into contact with from Cypress Creek Pet care, from the front desk staff, techs and our FORMER vet, Dr. Holloway. To add insult to injury, every experience I have had here has been incredibly overpriced. Including paying over $50 for a nail trim just last week. And over $700 for her annual exam a few months back. I have no problem paying any amount of money to ensure the health and well being of my puppy, but to pay sky high prices and receive absolutely abysmal service and care is abhorrent and Cypress Creek Pet Care should be ashamed of themselves.

FOLLOW-UP: The office manager is wonderful. She reached out right away and apologize for the situation and she was able to get my fur baby seen today with one of the most nicest doctors ever. I thank you for making it right and we had a great visit. Changing my 1 star rating. I scheduled my new patient appointment online on Friday night. Saturday they tried to call me, left a voicemail stating that if I did not call back by 12 my appointment will be canceled. When I received the message on Sunday, I was confused my appointment was scheduled for Wednesday. When I called them this morning to confirm my appointment was in fact canceled because a deposit is needed to hold a new patient appointment was not aware of that. When I expressed that I experienced a death in the family. There was no care in the world from the receptionist on the phone and because of that I will not conducting business with Thrive Pet Healthcare Cedar Park. Its all in how you respond to someone. If someone is explaining that they had death in their family and show no type of compassion I can just image how you will treat me and my fur baby. Im just sharing my experience I understand everyone will experience something else. I would like to add that I have 10 years of experience of working in the medical field and customer service, so Im looking for the some compassion I would show someone else.

Excellent care provided as always. Dr. Bouloy and the staff are first class! Diagnosis and treatment all in one visit with overnight improvement in my cat s wellbeing. I was very impressed! We ve been bringing our dogs here for 20 years. Dr Kim has been our vet for our beloved Lilo. A beautiful black lab. Before her, there was Maggie, a gorgeous yellow lab. All the staff have been helpful and caring. When Dr Kim was unavailable, we saw Dr Holloway, also wonderful. This is a great veterinary practice. I contacted CCPC about an ovary Sparing spay procedure for my 7 month old puppy Natalie. Dr. Bouloy called me and took 30 minutes to explain everything to me. He was friendly and extremely professional. We made an appointment and his office staff was very friendly, helpful and totally reliable. The surgery was done at 7AM to allow us time to pick up Natalie and drive back to Houston (190 miles). Natalie registered no discomfort whatsoever and the post op meds were totally appropriate. The whole experience reminded me of our interactions with Mayo Clinic. I recommend Dr. Bouloy and the staff of CCPC highly to anyone interested in The Best. The Journey there will be well worth it.

We saw Dr.Nevill for several months when our 11 year old Duke got sick with seizures and when we ultimately had to send him across the rainbow bridge tonight she and all of the staff at Cypress Creek are beyond kind and compassionate Dr.Nevill always took extra time to explain medications and side effects.. testing and different options when we couldn t afford to do all that we wanted to do.. this is an exceptional place and we can t thank them enough for the care they provided to our family.

This is the second time I have had to deal with one of your techs having a nasty demeanor. I called your office last week to ask if I should still bring my 1 year old puppy in for her yearly exam today, since I knew she would still be on her cycle. I was told to still bring her in. When the tech walked in and saw a couple of small drops of blood, she was loud, overdramatic, and acted like it was a large amount of blood and from an injury. Clearly the amount and size of the droppings were from a cycle. Your techs need to be addressed and retrained, because their demeanor and attitude is the total opposite of how they conduct themselves once the doctor is in the room. Please make sure this tech is never assigned to Peanut again.

Best decision we ever made switching to Cypress Creek Pet Care. Dr. Bouloy is an amazing vet, very personable, knowledgeable and through with his exams. I appreciate how he takes the time to properly exam our dogs, address concerns, and provide an overall high level of care. He does a good job of also taking the time to call with lab results and findings HIMSELF- a task that could be delegated but I really appreciate the time he takes to personally review and answer concerns. We have a senior dog who gets lumps and bumps and he does a fantastic lump and bump chart to document and keep track of all her old lady lumpiness. Another dog of ours came positive on a routine blood screening for an uncommon disorder to the area and Dr. Bouloy did a really good job of explaining the condition/providing comprehensive information to reference and easing my dog mom fears. I appreciate how large the waiting room is with separate seating booths. Previous vet offices we ve been to have cramped waiting areas which isn t helpful with pets that are already on edge. We feel like our 4 dogs are all in really good hands, you can tell Dr. Bouloy really cares about animals and it shows in the care he gives.

We had the BEST experience with Dr Nevill and the whole staff at Cypress Creek Pet Care! Dr Nevill is an excellent vet and very knowledgeable, kind and caring. Raymond Bouloy, DVM was incredibly kind, patient, and took his time in explaining the procedure my dog, Daisy, would be having. He also updated me by phone following her surgery, instead of delegating this task to staff, speaking at length of her postoperative care, symptom management, and provided his direct number in the event of after hours postoperative complications.

Drop off at 9am, called a 2pm and our dog was still not dry. We picked him up anyway. Also, the cleaned everything but his back legs. No one answers the line for grooming/boarding. You have to leave a message and hope they call back. The only way to talk directly to someone is to call and say you are there for a drop off.

I have been taking my fur babies to Cypress Creek Pet Care for years and I am confident that my babies have always received the best of care. I have never had a negative experience. That s right, I said NEVER!! The entire staff, starting with the person who mops up my puppy s accidents to the excellent Veterinarians, are professional, knowledgeable and supportive during difficult times. They do all of that with a positive attitude showing kindness and compassionate care. It is on a rare occasion that I ve been left in the waiting room. I honestly wouldn t care because I have never felt pressured or rushed. I am given the time I need, having all of my endless questions answered. Bonus my phone calls are returned promptly. Dr. Kim (love her!) is our primary vet but we have also seen several others when Dr. Kim is unavailable and I was confident my kiddos were in good hands. I can also share with you that when I pull into the parking lot my large puppy gets so excited she can hardly contain herself! Bottom line you can t go wrong. I believe that if you did have an issue, Cypress Creek Pet Care would work hard to resolve the matter in a satisfactory manner. Give them a call!

2 prior veterinary clinics could not find a solution to alleviate or eradicate the skin disease that was plaguing my 18 month Shih Tzu. His itching and scratching developed red bald spots throughout his coat. Doctor Holloway correctly diagnosed the unusual condition and prescribed the exact medications that killed the unique bacteria. He stopped itching after 1 week, and now has a full coat like any other healthy Shih Tzu. This doctor and clinic deserves 6+ stars.

My husband and I are new to the area as well as this clinic. Weve had terrible experiences with other vets, but after seeing the reviews for Cypress Creek were more at ease when we began taking our 13yr old Maltese here. Id give 5 stars based on my interaction with Dr. Nevill but due to the assistant, Julie, her nonchalant, unfriendly, and distant demeanor is deserving of zero stars. Julie is the first vet assistant Ive met to not greet a puppy with smiles and open arms. Matter of fact, this was our initial visit to this office, so as a new patient, I definitely expected more. I had my adult son with me, and asked his opinion just to make sure I was not overreacting. He shared similar concerns. Julie clearly didnt read anything in my puppys portal (previous Vets notes/records) because all of the questions she asked were in the medical records. When Julie stepped out, another lady walked in to give me a new patient bag and forms, she was very welcoming and loved all over my puppy. It was genuine interaction, can tell she loves 4 legged family members. In closing, we will return. Dr. Nevill is warm, thorough, patient, knowledgeable, and showed an abundance of affection towards my 4 month old puppy.

Dr. Holloway is an excellent vet and I wouldnt take my pets anywhere else. I have a cat and a dog that she takes care of - shes great with both and always makes sure to get on their level to make things as comfortable as possible for them. The people that work at this clinic are amazing! They were so nice, respectful, supportive, and very helpful when it came down to having to put down my best friend of 12yrs! They stayed with me from beginning to the end and gave me some alone time to say goodbye. They were not rushing or impatient with me at all. They even called the next day to check up on me. I had never been to this clinic before that day. I have since rescued another dog and have been taking my new rescue baby to them. Again everyone has been so wonderful still! I really like this practice. Even with curbside protocols in place I never feel rushed. They take time to answer questions, before during and after an appointment. My wife and I chose to drive from Houston to Austin to get our dogs vasectomy. We had other options that were closer, but after speaking with Dr. Bouloy over the phone, we decided it was worth the drive to receive care from a doctor that truly cares about his patients. We were very impressed with Dr. Bouloy. He was available and responsive to all of our questions before and after the surgery. The procedure was a success and our pup is now recovering well. We could not have been more satisfied with the experience, and I would absolutely recommend this clinic for pet care services.

Ive been with CCPC since they merged with Hiway 620 Animal Hospital many years ago. The front desk staff are always very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Bouloy and his staff always give my Red Heeler top rate care. Most recently, we were there for my dogs annual visit. They looked at the immunizations that she had last year and then told me that they didnt recommend the influenza vaccine for her because, since we moved, she is not exposed to other dogs. I appreciated that recommendation! I know that when we go there, Dixie is in loving, caring hands!

Weve been to Cypress Creek Pet care a few times when our regular vet was backed up and we just couldnt wait. Both times weve seen Dr. Holloway, and I gotta say - we love her. Shes very thorough, and very kind, and Im pretty sure our cat thinks shes pretty great. Its never fun to have to take your animal in for surgery, or because of an injury, but when the vet and her staff care for your animal the way you would, it makes it much easier!

I was blown away by the time, care and diligence. This is a difficult time to take your dog in for an unexpected vet visit. Weve been seeing Dr. Kim for the last year after moving to Austin. She had the unfortunate duty of alerting us to a cancerous growth in our senior cat. This meant multiple conversations as we went to other specialists and communicating about our cats hospice care. Dr. Kim went above and beyond on spending time working with us on this, even working with our previous vet office. On a lighter note, weve also brought in our brand new kitten for a check, and our adolescent cat. Dr. Kim and her team really care for your pets and its clear in every interaction. Thank goodness for Cypress Creek Pet Care. I had a last minute issue pop up for my pup and needed to get her seen ASAP. I spoke with Shara (hope I spelled that right!) on the phone and even though they were completely booked, she empathized with the pain she knew my pup must be in and was incredibly accommodating, helpful and friendly. It would have been easy and justifiable to simply say, Im sorry, were booked (like another place I called first did) especially since weve never been here before. But she spoke with Dr. Kim and they arranged for us to drop our dog off and assured us she would be seen inbetween other scheduled visits as soon as there was a spare moment. It didnt take very long after we dropped off Mrs. Pickles and we were able to speak directly with Dr. Kim. She took the time to explain exactly what was happening, why it was happening and what she did. She was thorough and not at all rushed and very reassuring. Pickles was a happy camper when we picked her up and is healing up very nicely. I see no reason why wed ever go elsewhere.

We have used Dr. Laurie Kim for about 18 months now. She s seen 3 of our pets (2 dogs, 1 cat) for everything ranging from new puppy visits to surgery to geriatric care. She continues to shock us each visit with her generosity, kindness, cheerfulness and genuine care for us and our pets. Vet clients can sometimes feel like just another person/pet in a sea of people. We ve never once felt that way with Dr. Kim. We feel so lucky we found her. The front office staff and technicians deserve mention as well. When we first started going to Cypress Creek, we were sad that the front office staff didn t stack up to how amazing Dr. Kim was. This year, they ve done a 180. Every single staff member has been above-and-beyond helpful and competent. Their handling of Covid-19 has also left us feeling really safe because of their precautionary measures and because we know our pets are being loved despite us not being inside with them. Im sitting here trying to write a review and Im at a loss for words. To say that Dr. Kim went above and beyond her duty or job requirement doesnt even begin to describe it. Not only did she give years of the best, most attentive care to our dog, when he came to the end of his long fight with liver failure, she saved us from having to take him to an unfamiliar emergency clinic in his last moments. This amazing act of kindness and compassion wasnt even at our request. We had an appointment with her in the morning and our dog was nearing the end. But, at that time, we decided he was strong enough to spend the day with us. Unprompted, she personally called us that afternoon to check on him when we didnt even have an appointment, right as we were rushing out the door. She had absolutely nothing to gain by doing this, other than to help a family and a sweet dog in need. For as long as I live, I will never forget what she did for us. We have been going to Cypress Creek for just about 8 years now. Dr. Bouloy and the whole team are just simply great people. They care about you and more importantly they care about your pets. We have a good sized pet family, mostly dachshunds and until last Thursday our beloved Bella the Beagle. Bella was getting up there in age and was also living with a disease that was being maintained. Over the last couple of months she had become slower and weaker and we knew that our time was limited. Let me just say knowing that your pet is heading towards the end does not make it any easier to deal with when the time comes. This past Thursday morning was that time. Bella was slowly breathing and could not even raise her head so I rushed her to Cypress Creek. We live a little ways out (35 minutes or so from the clinic) so I called, pretty upset and probably barely understood on the phone but the lady who answered (I apologize for forgetting her name) was very understanding. I told her that I was rushing Bella in and that she was dying. She assured me that staff would meet me in the parking lot. About 15 minutes later she called back to make sure that we were okay and to find out about how far out we were from the clinic. As soon as I pulled in I no more got the door open to pick Bella up and there was a tech meeting me at my vehicle. Unfortunately Bella had passed on the way there. He rushed her in to make sure that there were no signs of breathing/heartbeat and indeed there was not. I was pretty much an emotional wreck from the time I left our home until I left the clinic. All of the staff were amazing considerate, and especially respectful of what had just happened. Just about every staff member expressed their sympathies and made me feel like I was not alone. Dr. Bouloy was especially reassuring and his demeanor is always that of kindness and caring. You are doing yourself and your pets a disservice if you dont bring them to this clinic. Top notch place!

Our dog is very nervous and frightened whenever he goes to the vet. We had to leave him there for 10 days and were very worried about how he would handle it. They were so accommodating and even let us bring his bed and favorite chew toys. They sent us pictures of him during the week so we would feel more comfortable, and he was smiling and looked happy in all the pics! They were so patient with him and by the end of the week he was completely comfortable with the techs. It is obvious that everyone here loves animals and will care for your pets as their own. Concerning experience at Cypress Creek. We dropped our dogs off for three days for boarding. In the days after pickup both dogs suffered stomache issues and one missed several meals. We called Cypress Creek back and were offered a free exam of the dogs. This was a lie. The exam was a stool test which we were charged for. The doctor referenced issues from months prior and had zero explanation for their sickness during boarding. When we asked why we were being charged for a free checkup the answer was Well, it was free to bring them here today, but of course the test was an additional charge. Interesting enough, we wernt asked if we wanted to do the stool test they simply walked in and said were doing this test. Not sure how that isnt illegal. Ive boarded with thirty plus animal hospitals and this is easily the worst.

My dog had some issues over the weekend, he was in the EC Sunday. Needed to get him in for a follow up Monday and was looking for a new Vet. Called at 7 am to see how soon I could get him in. The first appointment was at 10:30, little later than I wanted but was happy it was at least the same day. Made the appointment with Shea (very nice the whole time), she called me back about 10 min later to let me know they had a cancellation at 9:30 and asked if I would like to come in earlier. Facility was very clean and they got me back quickly after signing in. Took us back to a room and didnt have to wait long for the tech to come back. She was very sweet as well, not long after the Vet came in. Very informative and listened to my concerns, answered all questions, was aware I had a budget so was helpful with that and was great with my dog. The ladies at the desk during checkout were amazing as well. Overall I could not be more pleased with our experience.

We have been using Dr. Bouloy as our vet for many years. He has been with us through the full lifecycle of pets....from getting a new puppy to euthanasia of an old dog. He has seen us through some terrible health problems including heart murmurs, ulcers on eyes, severe allergies, surgeries, and diabetes to name a few. We currently have 4 dogs and a cat. Two of our dogs require a lot of health care as they have some pretty severe problems. There is no vet in the world that we trust more than Dr. Bouloy. He always takes the time to explain health issues, treatment options, and costs. He even calls us on his own time when the office is closed and/or emails us if necessary. He and his staff are the nicest and kindest people. In addition, his education and qualifications are second to none. Because he is so well respected in the world of veterinary medicine he is able to pick up the phone and get you an appointment with specialists all over Austin. If I could give no stars I would have done that. We took our dog to this clinic on a Monday. Our veterinarian in Plano, TX had retired, so a co-worker said this place was great. Our previous veterinarian was so good we would drive the 200 miles to see him. Anyway, my dog had a UTI. we noticed a problem on Saturday at about 4:00 when no veterinarians are in their offices. So we took her to this new vet on Monday. First of all, she did not want to even go through the door (which had never been a problem), we got into a room which was dirty (pet hair and dust on the back of the monitor), a kennel person took my dog (still hadnt seen a vet) in back. They extracted urine from my dog with a NEEDLE. They never discussed this with me. Then the veterinarian came in and when I said what she had been on previously, the vet mocked my previous vet. So my dog is bleeding from her private area, you know shes in pain, and they send me home with NOTHING. They said they would let me know what the results were and then would decide what medicine to prescribe. (She had laughed that the previous vet prescribed amoxicillin). Then they gave me a bill for $283.00 . They had to send the culture out, but they NEVER even discussed this, or the cost. (Normally a culture costs $50-$100, theirs exceeded $200.00) Well, I waited until Thursday (remember my dog is still bleeding/trying to urinate) and then I went to another veterinarian (Springtown Veterinary Hospital). They were wonderful. They gave me medicine and said once they verified what the culture presented they might change the medicine, but my dog needed relief. On Friday at about 5:00 in the late afternoon, Cypress Creek called and said they received the culture back. They would recommend amoxicillin for the UTI. WHAT??? The worst waste of my money, and the most horrible pain my dog was in. She went almost a week trying to urinate, bleeding and they recommended what I said she had received on Monday. FIVE days later this is what they recommended. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS VETERINARIAN TO ANYONE. They have no compassion for your pet, and have no respect for their clients!!!

Very knowledgable staff. They were very good with my pug. I got right in with no waiting. I needed several different types of medication for my pug and the doctor was very consciousness of the cost trying to save me money. I recommend Cypress Creek to anyone for any breed!

Cypress Creek Pet Care is by far the best veterinary clinic in the Austin area. Very professional, knowledgeable and caring staff. Our two pups, Osito and Zoe, are under the gentle care of Dr. Raymond Bouloy. Dr Bouloy listens to your concerns and never makes you feel rushed. Our pups love him. We were recently traveling with our pups outside of Texas, and one became seriously ill. Dr Bouloy was available to talk with us during this crisis. He helped us to understand the medical event and the care our pup was receiving at the other specialty vet clinic. He followed up with the other vets throughout our pups hospitalization. Dr Bouloy and all of the doctors and staff excel in providing the best care for your pets. Highly recommend Cypress Creek Pet Care.

Grooming appointments for our Schnauzers. CCPC groomers take their time and have always done a great job. Never an injury or a concern. Our boys are our babies and we wouldnt take them anywhere else for grooming now that weve found CCPC.

Took our Siberian Forest cat in for a lion clip as he HATES being brushed and winds up matting, and its summer, so he needs to be cool. He looks great! Hes pretty happy as well, has a nice ruff all fluffed out, big fluffy tail, smooth body and cute boots! Wonderful experience, beautiful facility, great staff. Will certainly return.

Dr. Bouloy has been our vet for over 10 years. He, and the entire staff, are friendly, caring and take time to answer all your questions. The office is actually a bit farther since we moved, but we still go back there because we love the doctors and staff. Highly recommended.

Dr. Kim is my favorite. She is very smart and current on her veterinary knowledge. She is also very personable and always considers the ride home after a vet visit. Once she cleaned out my cats carry-bag herself. She doesnt push unnecessary treatments but discusses why certain treatments may be more prudent at some times versus others. Kudos to the staff. I have a very hectic life, including caring for sick family members, and I arrived 30 minutes late to my appointment but was still squeezed in, so I didnt have to reschedule. I dont do that often, but I appreciate that they were able to do that. I have a lot going on and not having to reschedule for another day, when I had already scheduled the time off of work to come in was so appreciated.

If I could give them 6 stars I would! Dr. Bouloy and his staff are knowledgeable, caring, and attentive. We own two older pets, one cat and one dog, and the care at Cypress Creek Pet Care has been very thorough but practical for pets of that age. Their website says they care for your pets as if they were their own, and that is not just an empty slogan - I truly do feel that the staff genuinely care for my animals and want them to be as happy & healthy as possible. They maintain an AAHA certification so you can be sure the facility is kept at a high standard - I was given a tour during our first visit and the entire facility was appropriately clean and organized; even the boarding areas were clearly well-maintained. For me, the biggest indicator of a quality facility was that my pets actually enjoyed their visits, never came home nervous from boarding, and always left in better shape than when they entered. We recently moved out of state for work and the reception staff have been incredibly responsive and courteous about forwarding our pets records.

Ive been going here for years now, Dr. Kim has sort of become my main vet here, shes great! But all the vets (and other staff!) Ive met here have been nice. Theyre very good with my cats, even though one of them is a total grouch at the vet. They do make special efforts to make cats more comfortable there.

After years of being highly satisfied with boarding my dog here, something has changed and changed for the worse. First, front desk personnel are no longer friendly and competent. Second, there is a failure to communicate the increase price changes, and third they think nothing of adding additional services($53) and telling you that it now mandatory and if you dont pay it they wont board your dog. They had me over the barrel yesterday as I was needing to board a plane and they screwed me. Furthermore, after years of making advanced reservations they now require a $50 deposit to hold the reservation. This is NO way to treat loyal existing customers.
