Very laid back atmosphere, which is very nice for a hibachi restaurant. Sometimes, they can be a little overwhelming. The appetizers were really good, and the sushi was as to be expected. The main course was on par with most hibachi places so no complaints.

Chandler was amazing! We didn t realize that they closed at 2:30 and opened back up. She was so kind and was very hospitable! We ordered 3 different rolls and they were fantastic. The Green Tea shots were delicious and we were able to get in and out in 30 minutes. Definitely ask to sit with Chandler!

This was our first and I think last time visiting. My son and I received our food, after a lengthy wait. As for my boyfriend, he requested no chicken with his meal, which the waiter, ANH, wrote down. Im not sure how no chicken translates into no meal at all. His order was completely canceled without our knowledge without any explanation. Just thinking about it now, Im certain that we wont be back.

I love this restaurant. My husband always takes me there for my birthday. We have never had a bad experience until this visit. Our cook was great, and funny but he got a little happy with the salt shaker. The food was very salty. The sushi was wonderful though. I also orderd a long Island iced tea from the bar and it was horrible. They must have left the triple sec out because it just tasted like unsweetened tea with a ton on alcohol. I hate to leave this kind of review on a place I love so much but maybe my review will help.

Food tasted pretty bland, somehow as a white guy I make food with more flavour, but typically I could move past that, with this one I found something moving on my vegetables, I use quotes cause I knew I shouldnt have touched these fake looking vegetables. Im explicititly avoiding ever eating here again, this stuff is easily in league with wendys in how terrible it is. (Once again this is not my opinion on taste, but simply the fact there is a [alive bug?] In my food) Hopefully this can get cleared up, I get called stupid, and I can consider coming back for this bland food, and maybe just season it when I get home

Always great food! Minor hiccup with the host that received us. We arrived at around 8:45 and she said the hibachi tables had already been cleaned so she sat us down at a booth. I asked if the food would be the same since we wanted hibachi and she said yes. When we ordered, we were then told there is a difference in the hibachi thats cooked in the grill versus in the kitchen. The waiter then offered to sit us down at at the hibachi table. There later came four others that sat with us so it was definitely worth them cleaning up the hibachi table for us. Again, food is always great here. Just dont sit your guests down in a booth when they go for hibachi especially with over 45 minutes left to close.

We went to celebrate my daughters birthday. They even sang to her. The food was delicious. We had the hibachi steak & chicken and also 2 different baked sushi rolls. Parking: The only trick is that the entry into the parking isnt directly off the main street. You have to pass it and then cut back a little.

We like happy hour here the most from 4:30 to 7. The bartenders are attentive and friendly. The hibachi section takes awhile, the chefs are nice and the waitress but not a big fan of the owner / manager. We prefer TokyoHana over Kyoto but much rather would go into Dallas for a real hibachi experience. Kid-friendliness: The kids love the hibachi show with the chef

This was my first time here. I brought my son because he wanted sushi. They also had hibachi so we tryed the hibachi table where the chef cooks at ur table it was a fun experience. the food was really good they have several meat options I got steak and chicken it comes with veggies and noodles as well as rice (fried-or steamed) a small soup and salad as well not too bad on the price either! it does take a while to get all ur food tho because they cook each group of food at once like the rice1st then the meats then veggies then noodles. They also have just a dining area as well where u can just order the food like a normal restaurant. there is also a bar for drinks. Overall I chose five stars I m very picky about my food and I couldn t believe how good everything tasted together!

A beautiful experience for my mothers 82nd birthday. No waiting, and the server was attentive to our needs. I got my mother to drink some Sake Rice Wine for the first time. She had a great time and had a bright smile as we all sang Happy Birthday to her. The meal was so good and overwhelming. I had plenty to bring home. If it is your birthday, you get a free piece of cheese cake if you tell them its your day. Parking: Parking Lot is full on the weekends, not too crowded during the week in the opening hours. Im a truck driver and I absolutely love sushi and hibachi. I ordered the veggie hibachi and I wondered why Id need to order the rice separately. Well the meal comes with noodles and that was okay. Was just going to toss them. Then I opened the rice, mixed the vegetables and one sauce (after Id asked for extra) and was very upset because it was by far the WORST taste Ive ever experienced! The worst experience, the food was terrible, the menu was bad, bad, we ordered the literal soup, it was just a transparent liquid as if you were cooking a maruchan soup and you take everything away and just leave the liquid without adding anything else, its just depressing by the way, we barely arrived and thats it. They were giving us the bill, they didnt even let me finish eating, I had to take everything, the terrible attention, and by the way, what you pay is not in line with what you receive. One of the better hibachi places that Ive been. We usually get the filet and chicken combo with steamed rice(the price for fried rice seems a bit much at an extra $2.75 for each). The plum wine is good, and the drinks are usually strong. Even on busy days like Valentines, they can usually squeeze you in. They do take reservations, but they dont seem to have a system to buzz you so stay close or you might miss them calling you. Their sushi options are aplenty - also tuna towers that are half price on Tuesdays. Kid-friendliness: Fun for the kids! The hibachi chef will usually include the kids, and try to make it fun for them. Kids meals available with good portions.

This place is bursting with enthusiasm as one experience the Hibachi Chef cooked shrimp teriyaki, Grilled Salmon & Grilled Flounder in garlic butter sauce, mixed veggies & Steaks. We went for my daughters birthday on a Monday for Habachi around 530 thinking to beat any crowds and besides, its a Monday. Nbd. Right? Waited 30 minutes to be sat because we didnt make a reso and so we ended up having to wait for a large group reso to arrive and they put us with them sharing two Habachi grills. Because of this the dining room had filled up and we went from being the first folks there to the tail end because of the group of 15 we were put with. We come here often. The hibachi experience is always great. We had to wait a while for a chef to become available. Our chef, however, was very entertaining. He missed on the seasoning part. I had a favorite Hibachi restaurant in Addison. However it closed down during the peak of Covid. Theres more than 1 hibachi restaurant in Rockwall and decided to try this location. I mostly order take out from Kyoto, best hibachi spot I ve ever been in terms of flavor and quality. Sushi is good too!

Came on a Friday night to try out the hibachi dinner. Service was prompt, we didnt have to wait too long for a chef to come along. He was entertaining and cooked our food according to what we specified (medium, medium rare, etc). He made a heart with the rice, caught the egg in his hat, performed the onion train and few other tricks. The portions were generous as well since we had some extra fried rice that was split between all the people at the table. The fried rice was OK, steaks and chicken werent bad either. Chicken and shrimp were the ones I enjoyed the most since they werent overly done on the soy sauce. My husband and I also ordered drinks, Green Monkey & Lychee Sakétini. Both were not great, the syrups used in the drinks tasted very chemically combined with cheap liquor. They also take reservations over the phone. We called in a 7pm reservation around 2pm that same day. Overall, it was a good- not great- dinner. Makes me wish there was a Benihana in Rockwall... Vegetarian options: Quite a few vegetarian options on both the regular menu and the hibachi menu. I havent seen vegan options though Parking: Ample parking in the front, side and rear of restaurant. No trouble finding parking even on a busy Friday night.

Pretty sure I got food poisoning after eating here. Im not saying this is a bad place. but for my first time there... I tried the hibachi... Wife and daughter had sushi and were completely fine... Dangit, the one time I didnt get sushi and try something new lol... Ill try again just to be sure, every place deserves a 2nd chance

I live in Dallas and I met my party from Sulphur Springs there for dinner. The food was good but served in the wrong order. The service was extremely poor. We had to ask 4 time for drink refills. I had to beg for yum yum sauce from a different waitress and when she brought it out it was in what I would call a condiment dish that may have help a dollop of butter. Heaven forbid we ask for enough for our meal.

Fantastic experience! And great food. Chef Paul was extremely entertaining, engaging and Makes a ridiculously mean Ninja (Filet & lobster). Great place for a birthday, quaint enough for a family dinner. Just overall top notch.
