We came from HEB area and were a little underwhelmed. I thought there would be more Pumpkin- Photo Booth stations. It was cute, clean and well run but there wasn t much in the way of activities besides the petting zoo and hayride. I liked that it wasn t crowded on a Sunday afternoon. I liked the hotdog included idea-very good for those who have kids that get hungry every five minutes. Also liked that they had a few porta potties and hand washing station inside were very helpful if needed. Best of all, it s a shaded pumpkin patch so if you don t want to bake in the sun, this might be the place for you.

I had a good time up until the end. I was buying Popsicles for my kids, and after I was handed them, I passed them out and one popsicles immediately fell on the ground, not knowing the bags they were in were open from the bottom. When I told the cashier what happen and if they could replace the one that fell, she charged me for another popsicle. I didnt like that, its not like I left and came back minutes later, the popsicle fell right as I was handed it. I payed it anyways because my daughter was already upset. I dont think replacing a dropped popsicle would hurt the business, but I guess Do better next time

They should not call themselves a farm. They have a little bit of availability and open some days not open other days, they have few blueberries. There are other farms open the whole season, a lot of fruit and don t have to keep checking if it s open or not. Also this farm has too many unnecessary rules for a farm that s open some days .

I found this last minute and had gone for my birthday with my siblings. I would recommend wearing shorts and shoes you dont care for. It was a bit muddy from all the rain thats been happening recently but other than that, a fun experience. It had a nice resting area and the popsicles were delicious. 10/10 would come back again.

Such a beautiful place, there s a trail you take before you get to the blueberry farm and actually is so scenic and pretty. My kids and I loved the whole experience, blueberry picking was fun, we enjoyed the homemade popsicles and ate some homemade fudge as well! This might just be our yearly tradition. I hesitated to post a review because I would love this to be a best well kept secret but I like giving positive reviews and if it helps this sweet family out, then I m glad :)

I recently visited the farm, and I must say it was an absolutely delightful experience! The farm itself is a lovely place with plenty of shade, making it a perfect spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy the surroundings. We arrived early in the morning to beat the heat and humidity, which I highly recommend to anyone planning a visit. One helpful tip: if you can, bring your own small blue bucket. The farm charges $5 for one, so having your own will save you some money. The farm is very kid-friendly, and children had a fantastic time picking berries and exploring the area. Its a safe and enjoyable environment for families. A huge plus is that you can eat the berries right off the bush. The farm doesnt use any pesticides, so you can munch away without any worries about chemicals. The berries were sweet and juicy, and it was fun to see the kids faces light up every time they found a particularly plump one. I would also suggest packing a picnic. There s a wonderful picnic area under tall trees that provide plenty of shade. It s the perfect spot to lay out a blanket, enjoy some food, and savor the fresh berries you ve picked. Overall, it was a memorable outing and I would definitely recommend it to others. Whether youre looking to gather some fresh berries or just enjoy a relaxing day outdoors, this farm is a fantastic choice. Well certainly be back again next season!

Went here on a Monday and it was packed! You would have to select a time through their website app. Entry fee is $10. They have a hay ride pulled by a tractor, plenty of pumpkin piles for selfie opportunities, a story kids can read on a hiking trail, animals to pet and feed, fudge, toys and t-shirts at their vendor stand. Standard entry allows you to take one pumpkin pie sized pumpkin home. Each additional small pumpkin pie pumpkin is $4. Instead of a field they have piles of pumpkins under a forest canopy, which I found to be very relaxing and a new experience. They obviously do very well as I went during work hours and it was still busy. I didnt see hot apple cider, that was the only thing I was missing, but I had a great time. Felt great afterwards. Totally ok for kids and adults.

We didn t call to reserve but let us in because they had a cancellation. We think it s because it includes a hotdog and a cup of food to feed the animals. Best part was a 12 min ride around the farm. This is a great hangout for blueberry picking. The farm is easily accessible from Dallas. The farm is neatly arranged for easy access. A short walk from the entrance leads you to the blueberry bushes. Bring your own bags/bucket for picking or else you end up paying $4 for a bucket. Another short hike leads you to the farm bee hive. The farm also has a store which sells home made jams and other treats. Strongly recommend this place.

We love the Blase Farm. Me and my family visit there each year for blueberries and pumpkins. Always a fun time. The prices are a bit steep, but you are having fun while out in nature. There was a bee hive area when we went, but you could barely get close to the hives. Maybe that s for safety reasons? Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Parking is easy and plentiful. The staff are always nice and outgoing. Can t wait to go again the next season.

First time visitor here this fall season. It s a very very small place. Does not have much to offer beside them just throwing together hay to make a small maze the short walk through pumpkin story and the 2-4 animals. I bought 1 fudge, 4 waters and 3 popsicles my total alone was $20 not including entrance fees and pumpkin purchases. It seems to be family run and the middle school kiddos who served us were not so friendly. Definitely get out vibes if you re anything other than a white person. Absolutely no poc here. Very unwelcoming vibes if you re -not- white from around the neighborhood. Would not recommend. You d think they d be more welcoming to any person buying and choosing to spend time at their farm. Nope. Thanks

The farms entrance and parking area is located in front of a neighborhood of homes, so its easy to miss. Look for the Blase Family Farm sign. The entrance is on the right side of the parking area. The parking area is not paved. Once you enter, you have the option of purchasing 2 different-sized buckets that cost $4 and $4.50 for carrying the blueberries. You can reuse the bucket for future visits. You have a third option of getting a plastic bag for free. Theres a little hike to reach the blueberry picking area. Its not as large as other blueberry farms Ive visited, but there were a lot of ripe/almost ripe berries to pick. The grounds are not very muddy. You have to reserve online for the date and time you wish to visit. Reservations go FAST once a date is available online!! So, you need to check their website often. Because they limit visitors each day, you get a chance to find a good amount of berries. They also have honey bees that you can visit. We didnt go see them this time. There are lots of beach chairs for reclining and picnic tables on the property. There are lots of trees in the guest area for shade. They have a small gift shop and they charge $7/lb. of blueberries. The restroom is a Porta Potty. They also sell homemade popsicles. This is a great place for the family with older preschoolers and grade school kids.

We rode the hayride 2 times in a row, thats how much fun we all had on it. The kids love feeding the animals and petting them too. The maze was quite small but they enjoyed jumping from bail to bail lol. And the free pumpkins were a great treat to take home, they enjoyed picking them out for not only themselves but also mom and dad lol. For $9 a person, it was well spent. We easily stayed an hour and a half. We would definitely recommend it for a fun family outing. The photos we took are great mementos. Cant wait to go back again!

This place is amazing. For the price you get yours moneys worth and more. $9 entrance and it comes with a free hotdog. They get you with the free hotdog, so you need to buy a drink, but drinks aren t expensive, reasonably priced. You have to try their homemade popsicles, especially the apple cider and lemonade one. I will come back during blueberry season.

It was a small pumpkin patch. Visited it while we were in town for the kids. A few animals (llamas, sheep, pony, mule, pigs) to see and pet/feed, small hay maze, hay ride, area to take pictures and pick pumpkins. They had good fudge and popsicles. We enjoyed the pumpkin spice and apple spice popsicles. The kids enjoyed it but the adults wished there was more to it all.

I visited Blase Family Farm for their pumpkin patch on the first day they opened for the season and they did not disappoint. Here are a few of the highlights; affordable entrance fee ($9/person) hay ride (no additional church) petting zoo (.50 cents for sheep feed) (There s also several hand washing stations) pumpkins for sale at an affordable price lots of available seating (picnic tables, logs, benches) plenty of photo ops with fall backdrops hay maze for the littles (this is actually my favorite maze because it s perfect for young children. You can see above the hay, so it s not very claustrophobic) lots of available beverages and food for sale (also affordable) pumpkin story walk entire area is shaded with trees It s a family owned business and they make you feel like you re part of the family when you come in. They are so friendly and helpful. Definitely my favorite pumpkin patch I ve been to.

This is my fourth year visiting with kids. I am saddened by todays experience. We were told on the way in to not pet the horse because it was being ornery today. My father stood next to the fence with a stroller and the horse reached through the fence and BIT him on his lower right back/upper hip. It broke the skin and bled. The staff didnt show much concern but eventually moved the horse to an adjacent fenced area that was still around people. Ornery or not, this kind of animal should NOT be around children. This is NOT ok.

We took about two hours to go through the pumpkin patch on Halloween. There was a little hay maze for the kids, little hay stands for pictures, a tractor hay ride, small petting zoo, a few other things, and a food stand. You get a free hot dog! The Popsicles they were selling are actually really good. The pumpkins you can buy are super cheap. The animals didnt look ratty unhappy. The wasps around the eating area are annoying. Overall for $9 a person, it was worth it.

Fun small pumpkin patch for the family. There are a lot of photo ops throughout. Theres a mini hay bale maze, small petting zoo and even a hay ride around to see the blueberry farm. You get to pick out a small pumpkin on the way out. We bought a few pumpkin treats from concession and they were yummy. I loved the pumpkin fudge. Definitely want to take the family back in Spring to pick some blueberries!
