If you need a lawyer, HIRE THIS MAN! Im from out of town and took a shot. I was facing alot of trouble.. If you didnt know, that state has no leeway. I recognized the courtroom felt his presense the second he walked in, literally. His energy and recognition stood out from all of the other lawyers. Thats experience on display for you which is comforting to watch being from out of town. I felt safe. When I left I told my lawyer friends back home the results and they told me that my results were literally the best case scenario. 50 stars if I could. So thankful for him. Yes, I payed him well. But other lawyers were wanting a whole lot. He was actually the only reasonable price for Texas, everything is just expensive down there compared to when your from west KY. One thing is for sure, you get what you pay for with Tom and hes worth every damn penny. Again thanks Tom

I hired him to defend me On a very simple case And he kept asking for money and paid him 12k ... Somehow the case tool A very long time and i asked him to ask district attorney if she have my medical records a couple of other documents that will prove my case... He was very disrespectful and racist I had to hire another attorney and pay another 15 k to .. To resolve the case And clear my name professionally and very Respectfully.... This man will promise you something and start Playing around and drag Your case to get your money and when u asked him to do something hell get upset... If you are thinking to hire him ar vote... Be careful and think twice

Cant say enough about Mr. Hooton, he took my case on a short notice. He took total control of the situation, like the professional he is. I had no ideal what my outcome was going to be. He was able to get me a good outcome, way better than I thought I would get. He was very honest and upfront about how my case would go. I hope I never need him again, but I would highly recommend him to anyone that is in a bad situation. His pricing was very reasonable. Thank you Mr. Hooten.

Thomas Hooten was the worst lawyer !! Aside from him constantly demanding more and more money (we ended up paying him $8k) , He told us that the initial offer we received was 5 years prison time and that he talked them down to 3 years prison time. On the third court date he was trying to pressure us into signing for 3 years prison time. We felt that this was fishy so we fired him and hired another lawyer ( Randall Isenburg ) who ended up telling us that 5 years prison time was NEVER on the table. It was 3 years the entire time (so Tom Hooton lied to us to make us think he was actually doing something ) - & our new lawyer got it down to 3 years probation ( something Tom Hooton said that they wouldn t budge on) - don t waste your time or money with this guy. Just call Randall Isenburg instead ! 5/14/24 EDIT TO THIS IN RESPONSE TO TOM: Tom: you are pulling that made up story out of nowhere. The charge was DWI & it wasn t even MY charge . Nice try though . CROOK!

I want to speak straight to the one s that fill like their whole world has just fell down around their shoulders an everything looks black that s how I felt after I was arrested for my third dwi So you start searching for a lawyer not knowing anything about them you have to choose one. Don t know why i choose Mr Hooton. He just stood out of the crowd of fake lawyers. Soft spoken not a big man in size but listens to what you have to say. But when in court he grows 10 ft tall an all the experience of a life time in court comes out. So don t think about it and take my word for it hearing NOT GUILTY at the end of your jury trial are the best you will ever hear Tom is the man you want. Thanks Tom you gave me my life back

Not at all what he said he was. After meeting with mr. Hooton for the first time and looking over a few things about the case he said it looked like things would be in our favor so I payed the retainer fee a week later we had a bail hearing which was denied but he had called asking for another installment so I gave him more money. We kept in touch and he was having trouble getting discovery from previous attorney but a few before trial he called wanting to meet to go over the case and to bring more money so I did at this point he didnt have nothing but the documents that I had gave him we didnt go over nothing really and the following week we had pre trial and he didnt even show up or let me know he wasnt going to be there. We ended up having trial this week and nothing that he said he was going to do or bring anything he said he had an expert witness of his own that would be at court and no one else was there said I was going to testify but didnt no one testified on his behalf of his client even though he had enough stuff to argue against the prosecutor and I gave him a total of $9k to do nothing and my kids lost their dad as he was sentenced to 35 yrs on 3rd dwi. Was very disappointed on how he left the court house and didnt even talk to myself or his mother to explain what had happened to the promise that the said to me

I would HIGHLY recommend Mr. Hooton for your DWI case! He was very confident and made me feel very comfortable at our first meet. When I left him after explaining my situation to him, I knew I made the right choice. Mr. Hooton got straight to work, and gave me the best defense, as well as receiving by far, the BEST possible outcome under the circumstances. I feel he was VERY well educated on the ins and outs of the legal system process. He was worth every cent, and very reasonably priced at that! Thank you MR. Hooton!!

To Start making promises he cant keep and second Allowing an innocent person to be continued to be screwed over by Rockwall County District Attorneys office. They convicted the wrong person, to begin with, an innocent woman sits in jail for a crime she didnt commit, she was the victim held against her will by a known criminal (Justin Bishop) in and around Rockwall County Texas. An officer Wilson Badge #740 let that felon go and out of an unlawfully carrying a firearm by a convicted felon and a control substance charge and he pin it on the victim who again held against her will and took her to jail an innocent woman with a family and no background. Rockwall county and officer Wilson Badge #740 of Royse City Police Department, you are the real criminals charging an innocent woman and tearing her family apart. You two definitely deserve the reward of the #1 screw-up of the year.

I write this review on behalf of Super lawyer, Tom Hooton. I have known Tom for over 10 years and he is an exemplary leader in the Bar. He is respected by his peers, prosecutors, and judges, and he has earned that respect through hard work and demonstrated skill. His experience reaches back many decades where he spent time as a judge, a prosecutor, and now, a criminal defense lawyer. What makes Tom unique is that he is very knowledgeable about the law, but more importantly, like Kenny Rogers the Gambler, he knows when to hold em and when to fold em. Tom has demonstrated a unique ability to analyze the case because he routinely thinks outside of the box. After getting my second DWI in 2015, I had no idea what I needed to do. I then contacted Tom Hooten due to his expertise. He and his colleagues walked me through the process. And when it was time to go to court, Tom turned it up a notch and attacked. He made sure that all bases were covered on my behalf and made it clear that he was not going to let anything go unnoticed in regards to the witnesses involved. When it was all said and done, the judge ruled in favor of me with a not guilty vertict. I was extremely satisfied in how Tom, throughout the whole process ,was professional and accessible.

Tom was exceptional. When I was in legal need I was contacted by many lawyers seeking my business. What stood out to me was his confidence, and his determination. He wasnt the cheapest person to work with, but when you find yourself in need of great legal council, thats not something you want to skimp on. Tom Hooton is the best DWI lawyer in the Dallas area. DWIs are his specialty. He understands the law completely and works swiftly to resolve his clients situations. After I was found NOT GUILTY Tom was also able to have my record corrected so there would not be any issues for me in the future. I highly recommend.

Choosing an attorney when you have been accused of breaking the law is,a painstaking ordeal. I received numerous letters from attorneys but I decided on Attorney Thomas Hooten to represent me. He explained the process and told me what to expect which helped ease my mind. He represented me in court and i didnt have to miss work going to court until he got my charges reduced. You can rest assured if you choose him you will be represented well.
