Facility is well maintained and very nice. Kids love to run around and play while parents enjoy their time watching games. There is indoor with ac and outdoor in the sun or under the trees or pavilion. Bar is very nice. Jillian was exceptional. Food service from food coaches was slow but they were the only one there with lunch type food. Food was good. Took a while to get it but worth it. We will be returning next weekend for a birthday event. Very impressed.

Management is a band of idiots. Tried to attend the Margarita Festival here. Little to no information online. Very very little parking for a large event. I am disabled and they had zero accommodations for me. Staff was uneducated and overwhelmed based on cars and traffic. It was a total $hit show. We spent 30 minutes in a car line (we paid for early VIP access) to be turned away and told to park offsite and shuttle in. Avoid this place at all costs. They do not have the capacity or wherewithal to run an event of any size here. Event was oversold. VIP was oversold. If you have an event you have a responsibility to all patrons whether you host the event or own the event venue. The latter is lost on The Northside ownership based on their response. Pass the buck as usual.

Scott and Jillian are awesome!!! After my graduation party venue was cancelled less than a week from another location, they were great in assisting and helping me with making arrangements; the process was seamless! Day of the party, the bartenders were phenomenal and attentive!! Everyone felt welcomed, food was great and amazing atmosphere! Thank you ALL for making my event memorable!!

We came to this place thinking it was a kid friendly place. Yes there were a lot of kids running around but nothing for them to do but throw rock and play in the puddles from the rain. The food was okay at best, the burger I had was tough and bun just fell apart. The rest of the food was just covered in cheese like that was just 50% of the dish . The service was great so hats off to the staff. Will return if the food truck are better but not for the in-house food.

Our first time here. The parking was full but they shuttle us from behind Marcos Pizza down the road. No issues there. The lawn area was great. We had reserved a table for our boys birthday. And no problem there either. Our server, Coy I think was his name, was awesome. Service was a tad bit slow but its to be expected considering the layout and it was close to full. We didnt mine since we wanted to watch the Mavs playoff game. They have a huge screen on a stag outside that was nice. Just wish they had the sound on but Im sure not everyone wanted to hear the game. They may have had music playing. I dont remember since we were having a good time chatting with family. There were a lot of kids running around. Some were a little rowdy but I saw staff asking them to calm down and they did. It was fine. Its an outdoor situation, it can be expected. Now the food. Nachos Burger,pulled pork sandwich, Mac and cheese. Everything was amazing! Kids said it was the best Mac and cheese theyve ever had. Those are big words from them. The margaritas were really good as well. They also had a food truck serving chicken sliders. Also amazing. Overall a great place, good night and look forward to going back. Parking: If you dont get there early the parking lot will fill up quickly. They shuttle you from Marcos Pizza down the street. In a really nice Infinity SUV. It was quick and easy and the driver was super friendly. Dont let the parking deter you.

We had a celebration for my daughter at the Northside. Originally we planned for it to be outside but because of rain we had to move indoors. The staff was very accommodating and did everything they could to make sure we were happy and our guests were taken care of. I would highly recommend this place for any celebration or party!

Its so sad, this place looked so cute! Advertised a really fun sounding eclipse watch event starting at 10am. We waited in the parking lot for about 45 minutes, there was not a single person prepping for the event, finally about 10:45 we left and found a great event at Siren Rock Brewery. Owner response accused me of trying to smear their facility...not my intention at all. The posting about the time, 10am of the event was from the Rockwall Chamber of Commerce website. We really wanted to go there, but as stated no one getting things going, only 1 closed food truck, no band setting up, we called 3 times but no way to speak to someone or leave a message to see if event was still scheduled or if time was correct. Just a suggestion...maybe some sineage at the gate confirming the correct time and possibly someone there a bit before to greet people, and possibly a way to leave a message ot text questions. We were from out of town so dont know how your operation works...sorry we missed your fantastic event glad there was a crowd.

We love the Northside. Great and fun place for a family outing or date night. The staff is amazing. Kumiko is our favorite and always takes such great care of us. Scott and Chase are great and always make us feel so welcome.

Food was ok. One of us didnt get the order, and one of us only got a portion of a meal. 45 mins passed and still noting.. As a 1st timer.. it is a cool place to hang n drink and maybe the trucks make it a better atmosphere when opened? But it was kinda killed with the long delay on the order that we finally told them to just cancel. Then they show up with the order and it was still made wrong.. lol Soo idk.. Im giving overall 3 /10...

The food is decent at best. The wait staff killed it for us. Absolutely disorganized 2/2 times we ve tried to eat here. Today, they switched our server 3 times, lost our tab, said they would charge us for what they had and let us go due to the issues. Then half of our party left and we went to leave and one of the other waitresses ran up and had us pay for EVERYTHING ELSE for a large party before we could leave, despite the other wiping out tab about 30 minutes earlier due to poor service. Wouldn t come back to this place if someone paid me to eat here and we have two small businesses we would have liked to bring here for lunch or dinner. Highly unsatisfied and honestly a bit put off by how this was handled. We ate about maybe $40 worth and ended up having to pay $150 before we left due to their incompetence. Edit* We just learned from the other half of our party that one of them was throwing up on the way home afterwards, so safe to say that will seal the deal for us- we won t be back. Edit2* As you can see, someone reached out to me. Must have been just to look better in public, because I emailed back yesterday morning and haven t heard a peep back.

Folks, Im not one to write a review but wow ! This is not the first time Ive been here and what a shame and a waste of what could be an amazing thing. The staff of young kids I assume are employed by the transportation company behind them are not friendly and appear to only be there for free drinks. Its sad as Ive used the transportation company and thought they were amazing.. The food is whatever you get and it was just disappointing. I love the venue and was asking about having a wedding there but quickly scratched that off the list. Maybe I picked 4 bad days but I am honestly wondering if anyone feels the same way.

This is an outside venue with a nice bar and seating area. It has a large screen TV for sport events and also has entertainment. In addition to the food available from the venue, food trucks are also an option. This is a family place with lots of children so be prepared to share the area with plenty of families.

The place looks super fun! Came with a group of 8 but unfortunately we were welcomed with a Rules and Regulations sign at the entrance stating No Dogs, and we did in fact have our furry friend in hand so had to turn our group around. Totally understand that different businesses have models for a reason but could be helpful to have this posted on your website/socials as a heads up :)

Northside has quickly become a popular location for many in the area. The setup and space is for sure a plus but the service greatly varies. My family and I have been and the staff attentiveness has been high and we ve been where we would have to track our server down numerous times to get help. I would note that from lack of kids menu items and the No Balls signs it feels like they want kids to stay away. Might be worth management noting they are in an extremely densely populated area with families full of kids. Parking can be a nightmare but Northside does try to accommodate with shuttles taking you to an alternate parking location. So for now from me, Northside is 3 Stars but has huge potential.

Last minute bday plans changed to this place and it was the best place to be on a cool October night! They have wonderful staff, fun things to do for adults and kids including big screens, cornhole, wood fires, and open area for tag. Ribs and stuffed jalapenos were super yummy, and I cant wait to go back and try more of their food. Thanks Northside for being all that Id hoped for and then some.

The food was old and cold. We got four different dishes and only the guacamole and chips were good. The burnt ends, nachos and cheesy potatoes were cold. The green beans were soured. One waitress, Jessie, was good but the rest were rude and unhelpful. Out group waited six months to visit and we re very disappointed in everything except the atmosphere.

Great spot! The food was delicious, and portions were huge. We had the brown suger rib plate with cheesy potatoes, elotes, and potato salad. All excellent! The brisket baked potato was soooo good, and my son loved the jalapeño sausage on a hot dog bun with queso...I forgot the name. There are lots of outdoor seating options...Adirondacks, picnic tables, etc. with shade for summer and fire pits for winter. We didnt stick around for the NFL game, but its the perfect spot for that. Well definitely be back!

Just left out first visit to the Northside. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I can t say enough good things about this place. The staff is incredible and the food is insanely good. We got asked several time how our food was and if we needed anything. (You can tell how much everyone working there takes pride in their job) My kiddos enjoyed the large space to run around which gave us parents some time to relax. We will definitely be back!!!

this is truly a hidden gem its kind of in the middle of nowhere but the atmosphere is casual and relaxing and the staff polite energetic and amazing. and the food here is actually pretty good, much better than I was expecting. that its not the cheapest place Ive ever been to but its not expensive by any means. I definitely recommend this venue for anyone looking to get out and have a nice relaxed evening Kid-friendliness: its definitely kid-friendly lots of games and activities for them to enjoy

Great family oriented event spot! They hosted the adoptable event and it was packed. I m thankful for an outdoor venue in Rockwall with great food and family atmosphere. This is my go to place for my friends and family now. They offer movies in the park for free. Very friendly staff that are spectacular. The food is incredible, it also has tons of food trucks available, live music, performances, and an eccentric yet chill vibe. I ve often mentioned unlike some others, it feels like a place where you go to be intentional with whom you re there with and share times with strangers in a real wholesome way. Not uppity or awkward. Come and socialize or come and chill and kick your feet back! Scott you did a superb job with this place!

Awful Slow getting into the venue itself because they check IDs and the scanner that would usually be used was down. Note: your id needs to be scanned every time you enter. Bar service appears to have 3 windows open to service, however only the middle window was open to customers and the service was terrible! Unattentive to customers, there was two girls, only one working the register and taking orders. She seemed too occupied talking to her coworkers to finish the checkout transaction, to the point I had to almost yell to ask if we were finished here or I needed to sign my name for the check! Throughout the venue, bar/dining area there were at least 15 employees standing around not doing anything! Talking amongst themselves, and having a fun time at work. I was warned that management was not great. Needless to say, don t waste your time because they clearly do not value it!
