I do not plan to return to this location. I love Pappadeaux in Atlanta but this one in Dallas was super lame. We made reservations and showed up 5/10 minutes early and had to wait 45 minutes AFTER the reservation time. I had to ask for the manager and was told it was due to staff shortages. Okay. Cool. I understand. But then put our group way in the back corner and waiter took forever just to get drink orders. Then disappeared for a good 15/20 minutes then asked if we were ready to order. Whenever we asked for anything it took forever to get with him even forgetting sometimes forcing us to wait longer. We order Caesar salads and he sat the big black pepper grinder on the table and told us to take turns applying it ourselves. (In Atlanta and most other expensive restaurants the server ask if we want it then grinds it for us). He mixed up several orders and didn t own up to his mistakes but instead blamed us and blamed the kitchen. Water refills and drink refills had to be promoted by us and then of course he would either forget or just take forever to bring them to us. It was just an overall bad experience. Pappadaeux Atlanta, I will keep the faith in you! But Dallas location, thumbs down!

I recently dined at Pappadeaux and unfortunately had a less than satisfactory experience. Our server Maliha seemed to be quite forgetful throughout our meal. She forgot to bring our drinks and the dressing for our salad.. Additionally, when our salad with salmon arrived, it was missing the salmon altogether and seemed more like an appetizer. The food came out before our drinks, and when we tried to find a manager to address the issue, no manager was present. While the food at Pappadeaux was tasty, the lack of attention to detail from our server definitely put a damper on the overall dining experience. Hopefully in the future, the staff at Pappadeaux can work on improving their attentiveness and communication to ensure that all guests have a pleasant dining experience.

I probably will not order from here again. My food seemed to shaken around as if it were a cocktail. Grease all over the outside of the box. The shrimp was okay. The fries were not tasty at all and they were cold. I am disappointed with Pappadeauxs take out. I would have gotten better presentation, flavor and pricing going somewhere in pleasant grove. I paid total $24.52 tip included. This is why I don t like to prepay w/ tip. Anyway, I would choose wisely. Maybe it would have been better if I ate in the restaurant????

It s just not what it used to be. It s on its way to being a sophisticated razzoos. I used to be a regular at this location. I went yesterday for lunch (it also happen to be my birthday) service was horrible. Appetizer order was incorrect (no big deal). I ordered oysters and I was missing the sauce, but my server never came back until our entree arrived. Then I see a hair in my food hanging off the sauce ramekin. I let my server know- he takes the hair and ramekin and said I ll get another sauce. I was so completely shocked, our guest were shocked, it was just mind blowing. I asked him to please take the entire dish. Not one time did he ask if I wanted something else. A manager never came. Not once. We ending up just tabbing out with the server and getting an entree to-go in the to go section. The host was nice she even asked on my way out if they treated me right for my birthday. Server never even mentioned it.

Came for a carry out driving 2.5 hours. As usual the food was great. Ordered the seafood salad with crab and shrimp, crab Gumbo, and stuffed shrimps. This is the first location between Stafford, I10, And Carrollton that just didnt pour the greek dressing into a container that really filled w oil. This was the first time in any take out that they shook the dressing first before pouring into a to go container. I usually get home and hv to throw away because its nothing but oil. Visited this location during my visit for my birthday. They did not have any fish I ordered, so I substituted. My husband orders filet mignon and after the waitress leaves, the manager comes over and tells us they are out of steak. We ordered a coke and glass of posseco, but we decided to leave. The manager thought it was a good idea to send us the check for $15. Its not even about the money, its about the fact that your establishment had nothing and you thought it was a good idea to send us a check.

I am writing this review because of the level of work ethic, care, passion and energy my daughter and I received from Sundae today 9/14/2024 - in my 58 years of dining out I have come to expect a certain level of service when dining at high end locations - Al Biernets, Nick & Sams, Dee Lincoln Prime to name a few locally - I have never had bad service at PSK - but - what we experienced today was on par with the aforementioned locations - to management, I would highly suggest looking closely and tapping into what Sundae is doing, learn how to teach and replicate it (if possible) - if she choses to stay in hospitality, I would suggest you figure out how best to retain her

Just had an awesome meal (Char grillef Salmon Alexader), my all-time favorite treat with salmon, shrimp, crawfish, and scallops in a seasoned butter sauce, served with dirty rice... Absolutely delicious!!! Yes, I will always come back! Vegetarian options: Plenty Cajun vegetables to create a lovely and tasty meal. A friend and I met at this location today at about 6 pm; Zion was our wonderful waiter. We waited patiently was the usual great experience. However, after us patiently waiting, the food on the seafood platters were barely warm. The stuffed shrimp had old grease under where the item had sat. Zion the waiter was virtually speechless as we reported the overly spicy crawfish, old grease, & virtually cold food. As a result, we requested the manager to visit our table; but regrettably the manager was unable to visit so we decided to merely visit another location. For the record, this type of culinary experience has NEVER been experienced at a Pappadeaux restaurant in the 20 years I have eaten there.

I was having a pretty bad afternoon and decided to stop and have lunch. Was greeted by the hostes (Joanne). Seated in the back, which was not an issue. I waited for 5-10 min maybe longer and no server came to offer bread nor water. I was approached by a server that said I am not your server but can I get you a drink...I said no thank you and began to walk out of the restaurant, but Jay and Joanne would not have it. Jay offered to take care of me in his section and he did. Joanne would check on me periodically to makesure my experience was great. They apologize and the manager came out to ensure that I was taken care of. Food is always delicious. Thank you for great service and your your kindness. Party of one.

You are treated like royalty. The food is exquisite. Yes, you would spend more than in another restaurant but you are eating fresh lobster. The salad portions are twice as big as other places. Restaurant was crowded, tables so close together, it was hard to walk to the table and restroom. It was so incredibly noisy that we had to raise our voices to talk, which added to the noise level) and hearing anyone talk was a strain. The food was good, nothing to get excited about. Servers were so overwhelmed with tables that the service was lacking, and they looked frazzled. Its moderately high priced, so I dont think well go back. PS, this was a Sunday afternoon at about 1:30 pm. Dietary restrictions: They were very much in tune with a shellfish allergy I have. That was comforting to me. (This was a special party, so I didnt get a choice of where to go for lunch.) Wheelchair accessibility: There is no way a wheelchair could maneuver remotely easily in the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon.

Texas Summer 2024: Destination 35 There is no Pappadeaux in Central Florida, so when I visit my family in Texas, I always have to make a trip here. My favorites from Pappadeaux have always been their grilled trout and grilled Chilean Sea Bass when in season, and their French Vanilla creme brulee. Their current Shrimp and Crawfish Fondeaux is creamy and addicting! I highly recommend that appetizer.

Had Sunday lunch at this location and I must say that our Amazing waitress gave us 5 star service. Angel Smith was attentive, caring, and made sure she followed the steps of service with grace and a smile. She even paid special attention to the seafood allergy at our table. She co-served with another server as we were a large table but even with it being a big top she ensured each of us had exactly what we needed. She never looked overwhelmed or flustered as she had other tables in her section. She wore a beautiful smile while owning the room. Im not sure that makes much difference, though, because he just drives the golf cart in circles around the building. Hes not really looking around, observing the lot just driving circles. This is our local Pappadeaux and we have frequented this location for many years, but last night was one of worst experiences we ve ever had at a restaurant. We arrived 25 minutes early for a 9:15p reservation on Saturday night; they closed at 10. We were seated almost immediately and thought the evening was off to a great start! We ordered a swamp thing and espresso martini immediately on sitting down as well as the crab and spinach dip. My partner asked about beers on draft, the server had to go check on those, and about 15 minutes later came back with the list. We would find out later that our initial drink and appetizer order were not put in until the beer order was also entered. He ordered a beer and we added the shrimp and crawfish fondue as a second appetizer. After we officially ordered our drinks and appetizers, we waited. Our server came out at one point to let us know that they were out of bread for the night, this was about 15 minutes after order was placed. Ok fine, we were now within an hour of closing cool. We still were not given the opportunity to order, we kept waiting. A different server brought some food to a table across from us, placed the tray on a rack next to us, looked directly at us and says this isn t for you - he wasn t joking lol not even in the delivery just straight up not yours. We already knew it wasn t because it wasn t we ordered but it was a weird way to interact with customers who had no drinks no bread and were just sitting there looking around. When our drinks came out, it was clear they had been ready for a minute as my frozen drink was melted and had a layer of ice on the outside of the glass, fine, at least we had drinks. We asked to order our main meals at this point, still no appetizers. We ordered the red snapper, the swordfish and the pasta. Sometime while we were waiting we got some surprise bread - yay! I guess they weren t out after all. Our appetizers finally came around 9:35 about 45 minutes after we arrived. The food was delicious as expected. While we were finishing our appetizers, and about 40 minutes after we placed our food order, our server came out with a menu, they were out of the swordfish, they told us they would try to get us a rain check so we could get it the next time we came. This was frustrating as we had wanted to order two of these as it is a seasonal chef selection, but only ordered one, so quickly chose another entree, the filet oscar because I figured this should be easy and consistent, and it was now after 9:30 so quickly approaching closing and our entrees had not been started. I did sub the carrots and pistachios for the spinach - the server asked if I wanted the baked potato that came with it or another side I figured the potato would be easiest so just got the potato. Then we waited again. For 25 minutes. Our drinks were gone, appetizers were gone, we had empty glasses, finished plates, dirty dishes, and no place to even put our food when it eventually came out. We kept looking for our server - nothing. Wanted more drinks, couldn t order. Saw the manager rushing around delivering food, so couldn t speak with him, because he would then disappear. Tables around us who arrived after us were getting their food and drinks. The restaurant was basically empty by the time our entrees arrived after the restaurant officially closed at 10p. My daughter ordered one more martini since we had someone to order from. Pictures are posted. My partners red snapper was supposed to have almonds, there were no almonds. My daughter s pasta had gelatinized after sitting under a heat lamp to the point she didn t take a single bite but instead brought it home to make it better . My carrots had no pistachios and I was informed when my food arrived that they were out of baked potatoes lol The server asked if I wanted another side, I was like at this point no, how long would that have taken and they probably would ve ran out of it while preparing it somehow. Server made comment they were embarrassed about everything that had gone wrong with the meal.But no rain check Parking: They have their own dedicated parking lot, united parking lot in front, lots of parking in the back.

We had a reservation but still had to wait 15 minutes for a table. We weren t brought any water until we asked for it when we ordered a 2nd round of drinks. After being there for 40 minutes, we were served ONE entree and it was not what I ordered. The waiter took that back and we kept the baked potato and shared that. We were informed that the waiter hadn t put my husband s order in. I was served the wrong drink. I order a light beer and I was brought (weirdly) a thick beer with a straw in it. ((??)) We asked to speak to the manager after being there for an hour with notging to eat but a baked pastor and bread and waited another 10 -15 minutes before we just decided to leave without eating. Over priced with terrible service.

We ordered food and a round of drinks.Took another ten minutes to get a beer and a cocktail. After we had been there for 45 minutes one of the entrees arrived but it was not what we ordered and apparently the waiter forgot to put in the order for the second entree. We were told the manager would come talk to us and they were putting a rush on the food. My wife ordered a Michelob Ultra and a few minutes later received a completely different beer with a straw in the glass. We waited another 15 minutes, the manager never showed. After being there for 75 minutes we left. This is the second time we ve had a bad experience at Pappadeaux and I m not going back.

Our waiter Zion is the goat (Technically every waiter in the restaurant is awesome but Zion served our table). Very friendly and awesome guy. I got the Crawfish Etoufee and it was awesome for my first ever Etoufee. My family all seems to be satisfied with their dishes.

Ive always loved this spot. The food and service is excellent. The floor was very dirty, however, with bread crumbs. Sweeping regularly should be enacted. Its also very loud, but thats pretty normal for a large restaurant. The food, though, is always great.

My family and I were seated at a table at 11:00am on Saturday and our server was Chad. We had an unforeseen incident as soon as we sat down. Chad was a true professional. He sincerely apologized and promptly moved us to a presentable table. He notified the manager and she can to our table immediately and apologized. We ordered our lunch and received the best service we have had in years. Chad was professional that has studied his profession and understands the importance of his service. I came in this evening to have dinner with my family. I must say that the food was absolutely delicious but what I value even more than that was the outstanding service we received. Our waiter was named Nick and I can t say enough good things about him. He was friendly, professional, attentive, and he did a phenomenal job making sure all of our needs were met. One star only because they took off the Mac n cheese. This is my family s favorite place to eat. We have been eating here twice a month for almost 20 years. It s the place we can all come together and all find something great on the menu. I know the menu changes, but this was a hard blow. More than when they took away the banana pudding, and were so grateful when it was brought back. We have two toddlers. 1 & 2 and everyone knows how hard it is to find a place where both of them will eat their dinner and stay occupied to not bother other diners. The Mac n cheese did that for us. They loved the food, easy to eat bc of the noodle size and they kept busy eating so they weren t yelling for more bread or crackers. Yesterday we ordered the replacent item which was the butter and Parmesan noodles. The noodles are way too long and hard for a one and two year-old to eat. We cut them up and the flavor is great, but the kids didn t want to eat it. This makes me so sad because they were completely disruptive, and now I feel like my family needs to find a new place to meet for dinner twice a month. Please bring it back!!! We re going to miss this place

You know the world is coming to an end when a Pappas branded restaurant is no longer top notch. We are here and we were just told that it would be an hour to eat. The restaurant is less than half full. There are 27 open tables. There are several groups outside on the patio What s really going on? Whoever the shift mgr/scheduling manager/ assistant managers should have called all the salaried managers and whoever else in an all hands on deck situation. Frankly I am stunned. And to make matters worse, there does not seem to be any type of sense of urgency on the part of any employees inside. All i can say is wow!!!
