Great tasting pizza and service. Crew was helpful and attentive considering the conditions they seem to be working in. Stopped in to get food and it felt hotter inside than outside. In the Texas heat! Asked a worker the temperature and it was almost 100 degrees and was informed it s been this way for months now. Can t believe people are working in these conditions. Low rating is so this gets seem hopefully by corporate and does something here, this is unacceptable. Otherwise please support these workers till they can get a working AC. Update: I see that someone finally took the time to look at my review about the lack of AC. Your response claims your are deeply concerned and value your worker s conditions deeply, yet it took over a year for a response to this issue? I m a concerned family member of one of the workers who has been suffering through their shifts day after day because the AC can t get fixed. I know upper management has been aware of this issue the whole time and has even attempted to fix it several times with half hearted attempts that broke within days. They then dumped the cost on the employees and then gave up after putting large fans in the building. All those fan do is blow the hot air from the 500 degree ovens around and is not a substitute for AC. This has long since been a health concern and pretty unbelievable that this has gone on for as long as it has. Ive sent an email to the support email, but adding this update to my review as over a year has passed with no resolution.

Look, Zalat, quality wise, is phenomenal. It really is a step above the rest. why 2 starts? The price. its absolutely INSANE to pay over $30 for a pizza. Ill say it again. 1 PIZZA. This isnt a meal deal. this isnt a Hey, buy a pizza we throw in drinks and sides this is straight up 1 pizza. I get it. the economy, prices have gone up, blah blah blah, but bro, my Zeelot home girls and boys, aint no small/medium pizza worth $35+ alone. Im not sure how youre still in business. probably because you are delicious, but eventually people are going to start paying for their gas and groceries instead of your expensive pizza, especially how this next election goes. Reconsider your pricing right now to be competitive with the national chains, or I guarantee you go under.

Maybe it was an off day for them, but Im not sure I will order again. We waited for 40 minutes and never got a call, text, or notification that the pizza was ready. When I did get it, the staff was just as cold as the pizza. Both of the pizzas I got lacked flavor, and they were light on ingredients. I hope others have had a better experience.

I am 8 months pregnant and made a big order for my husband s birthday. Without even asking, the cashier/cook offered me a staff chair to sit while I waited. When my 8 pizzas were done, again without even asking he carried them all to my car for me. I didn t catch his name, but men like that make the world a better place. Thank you for your kindness! It was still poppin pre covid. Now the pizzas taste super bland. Not real sure what they changed but everything just has that bland, generic taste all the big chain pizzas have. Before covid it was not like this. Menu also pared down and they got rid of the og. The first pizza I tried from zalat and the best. Disappointing but not unexpected for dfw.

I love Zalat pizza (and may be a part of an awesome club) this review is long over due. I go when Im in the area and when I was celebrating an important time at work, my boss requested what I wanted and without hesitation I requested Zalat! It was crazy to me that many of my coworkers had not tried it. So I got a mix of pizzas so they had options. It was amazing (as usual). I swear I would eat the Simply Basil every week if I could. I dont eat pork, so their all beef pepperoni is just perfect for me. Something about the flavor of the the simply Basil is so simple yet so over the top delicious. Anyway, I will absolutely be back in the future. Dietary restrictions: I dont eat pork and there are several options besides just cheese. AND they taste great.

I was greeting by a woman and immediately asked if I was there to pick up a delivery. I said no. She asked the gentleman in front of me if he was there to pick up a delivery. He said no. She asked me again if I was there to pick up a delivery. Again, I said no. I said I wanted to place an order and it was my first time there. She handed me a menu that had no prices. I ordered a medium cheese pizza and a medium pepperoni pizza. I paid and she waited as she looked at me to add a tip. She proceeded to make the pizzas without washing her hands.As I waited she took a personal call and dropped the f bomb in the conversation. She ended the call then proceeded to suck her teeth from the pizza she had just finished. Ten minutes and $31 later the pizzas were ready. I was excited to take the pizzas home to my daughter as we were trying a new pizza place. We were both incredibly disappointed. The pizza barely had any flavor and the pizza lady with unwashed hands clearly skimped on the pepperoni. First time and last time at this establishment. Do better for other customers.

We ordered a buffalo chicken pizza and garlic parmesan sticks to go. When we got home we saw that the buffalo chicken pizza has no buffalo sauce drizzled on it and no blue cheese at all, which is what is described on the menu. We also ordered jalapeno on half and pepperoni on the other half. The pizza ended up misshapen and burnt, while the chicken was heavily concentrated in the middle and on the jalapeno side, with barely any on the pepperoni side. The garlic parmesan sticks also did not come with marinara sauce, also described by the menu. This was a very disappointing experience and we will not be doing business here again.

The bad reviews are puzzling- I love this spot for pizzas. The Sweet Vengeance does the hot honey pizza thing SO good. Every once in a while there seems to be some disorganization at the shop, and you shouldn t expect Chic-fil-A/In-N-Out level service with a smile, but the pizzas taste great and they re always on time.

One of the better pizza restaurants in DFW, the NYC 18 sausage is my favorite , The sirancha is fantastic and their signature creation , make sure you order extra . Placed an order for 1 pizza & 1 cheesy bread and was quoted over an hour for pickup. I called to make sure it would really take that long because I did not want it sitting & getting cold & they assured me over an hour to be ready. Since then the shop in downtown plano has closed and they have opened a new joint in city line. Took my husband to lunch today on his lunch break. The girl at the counter was super rude. When we walked in I said can we have a minute because were not sure what we want and she proceeded to respond by saying you dont know what you want? Yes thats what I said. We ordered the Pho Shizzle, no onions. The pizza came out covered in onions which I thought the pizza was delicious but my husband who is allergic to onions did not get to eat on his lunch break. If she would have been a little nicer when we walked in I may have asked her to remake the pizza but I was afraid she would spit in it so he went back to work hungry. As far as the pizza goes its still my favorite pizza but I will never go to this location again. Please look at my past reviews on any restaurant and you can see I dont leave negative reviews.

This is my favorite pizza place. They have unique pizza flavors; my favorite being the drunken masterclass. Great tasting crust. Some places make their crust taste sour. Dining isnt available here, but that isnt a problem for me. Highly recommend. Prices are worth it. Dietary restrictions: Soy-free oil.

Ive tried this location twice - the first time, the pizza was cold and they were nice enough to give me a discount on another pizza - I tried the pepperoni master class the second time and I really wasnt impressed - the pizza is just ok, which is a shame because its so close by. I will try them another time just to make sure it wasnt a fluke, but I cant say Im that enthusiastic to try it out.

Primarily giving low stars because that store was SO HOT I cannot imagine working in there. I hope the employees are alright! I like other Zalat locations this was my first time here. The pizza was good, missing some sauce on half. I was also informed after I arrived to pick up that my order was messed up and they were remaking my pizza. The employees were super nice about it! I dont think Ill be returning to this location.

Possibly the worst service and experience I ve had at a pickup pizza place. Estimated pickup time changed twice. Went in to grab the pizza and they said they made a mistake on the pizza and it ll be an additional 15 minutes. So now a total additional wait time of 45 minutes. I watched a girl in the back have gloves on, put her finger in her mouth then touch the mix a toppings. The girl at the front looked clueless and couldn t figure out people s order or timeline of when to pickup. Safe to say will not be back here.

They forgot the marinara and hot sauce, ignored I wanted it well done and pizza was shaped funny. Had to say something :/ prefer other locations Edit: service getting worse at same location. Got my order without hot sauce and barley cooked even tho I asked for well done wasn t going to complain again, until I found something odd on my pizza. Worst location ever Edit2: made a second visit. Asked for well done. Got one burnt and one raw. Waste of money

Ive had Zalat at another location before and really enjoyed it so I decided to order a different flavor from this location. Placed delivery for an 18 Sweet Revenge and the pizza came misshapen and overcooked. It was also more sweet than I anticipated but I wouldnt have minded if the pizza wasnt so tough to chew. I had to toss it away.

Weve become huge fans of Zalat. Dialed in recipes, excellent execution, and they actually treat their staff well. If youre looking to upgrade your pizza game, Zalat is an outstanding choice.

The young man working the register was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean and organized. And the pizza was ready in 30 minutes. My friend and I got a pepperoni pizza and added black olives and jalapeños. Then, the Sirancha sauce on the side. It was one of the best pizza Ive had in a long time. If I ever find myself in Dallas again, Im definitely going to get another pizza from Zalats. Thank you. Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian options Parking: Theres a good sized parking lot in front of the restaurant.

I didnt want to make this review, but yesterdays experience is a new low in a steady decline from this location. I was missing the extra sirancha sauces I ordered (nothing new), and the ones included tasted rancid. The pizza we received was in an egg shape - the crust was actually smushed up against the side of the box so it wasnt closed all the way when I received it. The vegetables looked pale and wet on top, and the pizza itself was rubbery - it was like eating leftovers you microwaved for too long. The toppings were strewn all over. We specifically requested certain toppings added to only one half of the pizza - the toppings were thrown all over the pizza. I was excited to have a Zalats in the neighborhood, but after being disappointed time and time again, I think were better off without it.

I was greeted and asked for my name. I was politely told one pizza was ready and the other pizza was three minutes away from being done. When the second pizza was done, I was informed it is being boxed. When the two boxes of pizzas were given to me, I was thanked and wished a good day. I reciprocated the pleasantries. Will definitely return to this particular store.
