Got burritos and menudo, burritos have definitely gotten smaller for the price $4 a burrito and the menudo was definitely lacking today ....i wanted my sunday menudo ......I know not everytime it can be the best but it was really salty and did smelled like Italian food ....maybe next time

We stopped in for breakfast tacos. Food was okay. Not the best but it was edible. The barbacoa did have a funny taste to it and was off-putting. We understand there are not a lot of options for breakfast tacos. Food : 2/5 |

Wow, complete disappointment. Was charged $17.50 for 4 tacos de carne asada on corn tortillas! The meat was nothing like normal carne asada and was tough, gristly, and flavorless.

Hands down the best tortillas and tacos(burritos) in town, maybe anywhere. Friendly folks who have been there for years and remember your name and order. The Corner Stop is the OG and top of my list any time I have visitors. Parking: Small lot, can sometimes be hard to get in/out but ample parking across the street when they get busy.

Tacos Al carbone used to be my favorite dish. But I just got it and it wasn t edible. There was so much gristle in every bite and the great amount of dripping grease made me nauseous. Sorry Corner Stop. Never again.

Great Authentic Mexican Food Pan dulce an Great Customer Service the lady who works up front she is very nice ,prompt , accurate I really like her the older lady who works in the kitchen that wears glasses is very rude an could use training on customer service .I called to let them know that my burrito was supposed to be bacon egg,potatoes ,bean an when I got all the way home it was just bean an egg I know the young lady in the front got it right because she didnt miss a beat . So it had to have been the cook & she got even more rude an expected me to drive all the way back to see if I was telling the truth as if.I hung up an I wont ever return .

I know this is crazy, but I was here in your store on Saturday September 4th. I met a kind gentleman, while waiting in line we spoke briefly. I know he is a veteran and was a combat medic. He shared that his family lived just 3 blocks down. He also shared that he was a regular there and they all know him well. We talked briefly about his time in Afghanistan and the present circumstances there. Not sure why, but I havent been able to stop thinking about him. I wish I knew his name. He recommended that I try the menudo. I did, and it was pretty good!

The older lady who works at the Ben Ficklin location is sooo rude to the employee. I called to speak to a manager and low and behold she wasnt the manager, She is the owner. The rude lady is the owner.. She berrated a young employee in front of me while he was waiting on me. I have never felt more sad for a worker and uncomfortable while buying a burrito anywhere before today. He was so friendly and gave good service. I have worked customer service for over 20 years and i know good quality service. When i called to give feedback, i was explaining that i have been in a similar situations and that it would be more appropriate to wait till the customers are gone and pull him to the side but she cut me off and proceeded to explain that she has bills to pay and that i was looking at this situation as an employee and not as a business owner. She said she had been successful for over 30 years and its not because she speaks to her staff nice and sweet. She said she only cared about her customers but the way i was treated after calling in with feedback left me feeling like that is a lie. Employees are the backbone of your business and the reason u are successful. An employee should be able to expect as much from an employer as the employer expects out of their employees. Business are struggling to find good worker and she has some and treats them like that?? Wow is all i am left saying. Because I am fair. I will add that the food was great!! The food was wonderful but i wont support a business that mistreats employees.

Feb 4,5 2020 - I dont know of any place on this planet that makes a better brisket burrito! I stopped by this morning (2nd day in a row) after not having been there in over 21 years. I thought I remembered how good they are but, they are even better than I remembered. If youre ever in San Angelo and you like Mexican food you have to try this place. Also, the lady who waited on me was very nice, talkative, and a great listener! When I told her about having lived in S.A. in the past and changing my travel route just so I could eat at The Corner Stop she smiled, thanked me and said no charge! How many places would do that? I will return. Update...I did return on 4 and 5 Nov 2020! The brisket burrito with pico and cilantro is still the best ever. Will stop again on my trip back east in the springtime. Back again! I did stop again on 8 Feb 21 on my way back East. Sadly, I was able to only eat there once due to a citywide water boil order that had a lot of places closed. Not sure when I ll be back Back sooner than I had thought or planned! Had to make another trip to NM (23 Mar 21) for my grandson and just ate 2 more brisket burritos. I wish I knew their recipe so I could make them whenever I want. I ll be buying a dozen in the morning so I can surprise my daughter (she loves em too!).

I ordered bacon and eggs, brisket with pico. Did not get my ordered correct. I got brisket with cheese, I Don t Like Cheese and I m guessing the other burrito was potatoes and bacon. The potatoes didn t look nothing like Potatoes. Y all used to have good food NOT sure what happened. Y all have done this more then once, I will NOT be returning.
