We stopped by here because our usual restaurant was closed and the reviews showed 4.5 ! Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed. The server couldn t tell us the price of a Happy Hour margarita and the beef on the beef fajita nachos was tough as nails! Our waiter was nice, but everything else was terrible. I wish that my usual spot wasn t closed (temporarily). I likely won t be back.

The food is more TexMex than Mexican. Great variety on the menu. Fajitas were a little lacking. Serving size is good. Double check to-go orders. I ordered my food to go. I didn t get to check the order before leaving, and the flan was missing. :( it s not the end of the world, but not great when you were looking forward to it. I expected a little more from the fajitas. Like more of caramelized onions, rather than sautéed. Tortillas taste and feel store bought and the chicken was light on the seasoning. My husband did enjoy the brisket tacos and the guacamole was good.

Terrible food. Our stuffed peppers were literally burnt. The bacon was charred to being BLACK. My brisket tacos were so freaking dry it was like eating cardboard. They were flavorless and so disappointing. Beans and rice were fine. The waiter was super attentive.

New location just 4 days open, soft open dinner 4-9pm. Lots of staff from Casa Milagro in Richardson. Great people, and wonderful food. Marg recipe from Casa, so be ready! We had large guacamole, and Combo platters, Enchiladas and taco with side of beans and rice. Just starting out, and will only continue to be better. We enjoyed ourselves and able to visit. We will be back! Definitely Returned, and better than ever! Create You Own 2 Chicken Enchiladas with sour cream and pickled jalapeños, crispy beef taco is delicious. Perfectly stuffed and not overly sauced like some do. Several years open now. Quality Tex-Mex. Great Margs If youre a fan of pinto, you need to try the Bean Soup, or Fancy Bean Soup with Fajita Chicken or Beef. You wont be disappointed!

I recently dined at Pineda, and it was a delightful experience! The waiter was extremely kind, and the delicious dishes made my taste buds dance. Although the restaurant is tucked away in the shopping center, it can be tricky to find, but the ample parking makes it worth the effort. The authentic dishes enhanced the overall culinary experience with an extra kick. A hidden gem indeed!

Through a Google search, found this hidden gem today, which I ve probably passed by 1000 times without notice I plan on sampling more of the menu, but the first experience was excellent. Chips and salsa were good, and served with a small bowl of bean dip. There were a number of atypical items for a Tex-Mex menu, and one jumped off the page, and right into my belly: Brisket cabbage rolls. now, I love cabbage rolls, though in the future I might prefer a more standard tortilla for this burrito analogue. What set it apart was the yummy bits of tender meat within. Really tasted more like steak than brisket, and I suspect that it was. Anyway, service was attentive, and I ll definitely be back to try more options!

This is the Mexican restaurant Ive been searching for! Excellent food, great selection of menu items, ice cold beer, top notch service....it just doesnt get any better! I grew up in San Antonio and have missed the Mexican cuisine ever since I left. The corporate restaurants all over DFW leave a lot to be desired and while you can get your fix in them, they fall short of the real deal. Piñedas hits the spot superbly! The tamales were excellent, best in the region and frankly, I dont know who could beat them. The bean dip and salsa are both excellent and the chips are crispy and fresh. Well be back. And, back. Small restaurant (probably family run) with a very confused ambiance. Classroom lighting, a bank of televisions, and Mexican radio station music playing just a tad loud. Salsa, black bean mole(?), and chips were not exceptional. The queso with beef had very little seasoning. Combination Fajitas (beef, chicken, shrimp) around the table were enjoyed by all, and brisket tacos were tasty. We couldnt figure out if the tortillas were homemade or not, bot they were good. Chocolate cake topped off the meal. Mmmmm! We will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

We enjoyed a delicious lunch here today! This may become my new favorite restaurant. I could make a meal out of their excellent warm bean dip with chips. My fellow diner was impressed with the chips and salsa. They had to refill the dip, salsa and chips for us because we were inhaling it all. The poblano chicken enchiladas were very yummy, too! Some of the best enchiladas I ve had in a long time. (They were on the lunch menu for $9.99, which is quite reasonable for a good sized, high quality meal). The staff was very attentive, kind and friendly. They weren t busy at all during lunchtime, which is a shame because the food was great. I highly recommend you give it a try!

I had a complimentary coupon for Queso. The waiter asked if in wanted a table. I politely said, No. I have a coupon. He took it fron me. The Manager came over and asked if I was staying? I told him, No. I just wanted my comped Queso. He looked disgusted. And told the server, while shaking his head, shes NOT staying to eat! He went to the back. Asked the cook for my Queso. He whispered something to the server to handed k my food. The server came over to me and says, (BEFORE the waiter handed me my food he said), Next time you NEED to dine-in. You shouldnt just come by to get just Queso. This coupon is meant for you to order food dinner or lunch and come in to eat. He hesitated to hand me the Queso. I said, Ok. Thank you. Next time I may dine-in and bring friends. They wanted me to spend more money. I get it but I choose where I want to dine-in and spend MY $$. What he could have said, We look forward to seeing you next time to dine-in for lunch or dinner. The restaurant did not have many customers. I understand their frustrations for having few customers. We love eating at Pinedas! Drinks are wonderful and the food is always tasty. Highly recommend the quail flautas, the new jalapeno poppers and anything with brisket! Servers are attentive and accommodating as well. Nice neighborhood restaurant serving great Mexican cuisine.

Well I came because the good reviews, I did not have a good experience. I asked for a enchilada and it came smothered in sour cream, not enchilada sauce, I am aware not everyone makes their enchiladas the same but I ve never had an enchilada with only sour cream, no green or red sauce just sour cream, I requested an enchilada with the sour cream on the side and received this. What is this? It didn t come with cheese, or enchilada sauce, I was expected to eat this dry tortilla and chicken with rice and beans and no sauce this is not even an enchilada it is more like a soft shell taquito. When your hungry things like this are the worst and very frustrating.

We love this place we love coming at dinner time but it seems like every time we try to come for lunch will come between 12 and 2 o clock during the week and the doors are always locked but yet the hours say they re open from like 11 AM to 9 PM but even when we come in they re still closed this is happened more than three times the only reason why I m leaving the review

We went for dinner on 1/29/22 and had a great time! We started with the Watermelon Serrano Margarita and the frozen margarita swirled with sangria, and both we great! We can t recommend the Serrano queso enough it was awesome! For dinner we had the beef chimichanga and the chicken fajitas. I honestly haven t had better fajitas in the metroplex. The best part about the evening was the service! It is clear that the staff has a great time, and that they love this business. We ve driven by this location so many times, and didn t know it was there. We are so glad we discovered it, and we will be back soon!
