I enjoy going here because of its outdoor patio and the hookah. It is one of the few hookah places in town that does not blast music or just overly loud. Food is pretty good. Only issue is the service. Everytime Ive been there it takes forever to get served and the servers are all over the place. This place would be a 5 star if they had better service. My husband, I and our little boy were looking for a nice Mediterranean restaurant for a long time, we were looking for somewhere that would serve delicious food, in a nice and beautiful place with Mediterranean atmosphere and decorations and finally we found it!! I found this restaurant on instagram, loved the pictures but I had to try it my self, let me tell you that it was AMAZING!! The food and service was incredible, we loved the ambiance and I have to say our server made our experience even better, I think his name was Furkan, I hope I spelled it correctly he was very friendly, quick and polite, he even changed the music to Turkish songs as soon as we requested! So I called them for sitting and order a hookah and they said no you have to have dinner, like they forcing me to have a dinner there. Now finally I went there and food is alright chicken was not fully cooked and when I paid I thought they add gratuity in the bill so I did not give separate tip, so now waiters came and ask me why I didnt tip him/her, so I explained it what I thought and then he basically make me to do tip to the waiter. Thats my choice if I want to tip or no, never going back there very stupid customer service.

I was really looking forward to dining at another time & place grille, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting, which initially gave me high hopes. However, the service was incredibly slow. We waited an hour for our food, which arrived cold. Our waiter was difficult to get a hold of, and our drinks only arrived after we asked for them twice. Its disappointing because the setting is so nice, but with service this slow and inattentive, I cant recommend it to others who are looking to enjoy a good meal.

I recently visited Another Time and Place and was thoroughly disappointed with the experience. While the hookah itself was decent, the overall atmosphere was marred by poor service and unsettling behavior from the management. The manager s attitude was particularly troubling. It was apparent that non-Arab customers were not given the same level of service or attention as Arab customers. This discriminatory behavior made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Despite several attempts to get our order right, we were met with dismissive and rude responses, while other tables received prompt and friendly service. It s disheartening to encounter such treatment in this day and age. A place that fosters an inclusive and respectful environment is crucial, and unfortunately, Another Time and Place fell far short of this standard. I cannot recommend this establishment and hope they seriously reconsider their approach to customer service and inclusivity.

Visited multiple times but stopped because the manager is racist, who wants to ensure moderate Mediterranean clientele and maintain his restaurants atmosphere. Waiters/Servers are attentive but the manager will stop them from attending certain guests. If you are indian/pakistani male and have some self respect , avoid this place unless you are accompanied by a chick who fits the restaurants criteria.

It s enough food for two, so I will be taking the rest home. The lamb was amazing. My server was Irem and she recommended the Mehmet Special. She was spot on and gave great service. I recently had a terrible experience at a restaurant that I feel compelled to share. Upon entering, my friends and I noticed that some people were leaving due to the lackluster service. We decided to give it a chance and find a seat, hoping things would improve. Unfortunately, we were met with the same disappointing treatment. After sitting for what felt like an eternity, we finally managed to catch the attention of a waiter and requested a tea pot. We thought that while we waited for our tea, we could at least peruse the menu. However, our tea never arrived, and neither did the waiter who had taken our order. Growing increasingly frustrated after 30 minutes of waiting, we made the difficult decision to leave and find another restaurant. Thankfully, we stumbled upon Jazmin, a mere five minutes away, and were met with exceptional service. The lack of attention and neglect we experienced at this restaurant is inexcusable. It is clear that the staff are indifferent to their customers needs and exhibit a blatant disregard for basic customer service. Needless to say, I would strongly advise against wasting your time and money at this establishment. Save yourself the disappointment and opt for a place like Jazmin, where youll receive the service you deserve.

I ordered Lamb shank. It was so hard and had no flavor. Looked old and it spoiled my taste bud after eating. I had to go somewhere to have sugarcane juice to feel better. It comes with rice but cooked with vermicelli. They dont list it in the menu card, which is dangerous for gluten allergic person like me. I have couple of reasons to give 3 stars One i always like going there and take my guests when they visit from out of town. Their falafel were amazing along with other items. But they failed to impress me in my last visit Fries and falafel were not well cooked. U can taste rawness in falafel. Fries were half cooked. Server was very polite, understanding so no issue there. The greeting wasn t the best upon our arrival. The gentleman was a bit aggressive and quite rude. However , our great host Thai made sure to make up for that and gave us an awesome time! Thai was very helpful and friendly ; always checking on us and making sure we were set, and he is a big part of why we would go back. The food here is top notch and insanely delicious. The presentation of the food is also awesome. The atmosphere is great and I love the outdoor seating (go at night to avoid the unbearable dallas heat). Ive been to this restaurant twice and had the same experience on both visits. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is great, but the service leaves much to be desired. Both times, the waiter took our order, brought our food, and then disappeared. After finishing our meal, we waited 20 minutes before finally asking another waiter for desert, which also took too long. We ended up spending two hours in the restaurant, with half of that time just waiting. Its frustrating when you cant find your waiter to ask for the check and have to stand up and go to the door to call them. This is not how customers want to be treated. They need to improve their service.

Our first time here and they definitely exceeded expectations. Everything we had was delicious. Dolmas, Betyi Special, Pita Bread, and both Pistachio Baklava and Cold Baklava (1st time we ve had that). Our server Burak, and the gentleman he was training, were very friendly, attentive, & knowledgeable. They made our first visit better. The atmosphere is very nice - hard to take your eyes away from the incredible lights. We will definitely be back and will pass the word along to friends.

First time at Another Time & Place. Our servicer was Tun and he provided great service; attentive, courteous, friendly and professional. We asked Tun for recommendations and we ordered them; everything he recommended was delicious. Beautifully decorated outdoor dinning, also pet friendly patios; 2 patios for dining, one also offers hookahs, the other is non-smoking. Indoor dinning area is spacious with beautiful chandeliers. Highly recommend Another Time & Place, in Richardson. We will definitely be returning. Vegetarian options: Some vegetarian options available. Parking: Lots are in front of restaurant, side and back. Kid-friendliness: Patios are spacious for kids to move around. Two patios, one where hookah smoking is allowed and the other is non-smoking.

While searching the internet during our visit to Texas, we came across this place and stopped for dinner. I couldnt decide which was more unpleasant, your food or your tired and indifferent waiters who showed the attitude of working non-stop for hours. When we entered the venue, we waited for our orders to be taken for at least 20 minutes. Spoons were forgotten, water was forgotten, we asked for napkins and they were forgotten. A man hanging around, who obviously worked at the restaurant or was on staff, gave him very strange looks and disturbed him throughout the entire meal. I wish you would show us the same understanding of service that you show to the Arabs. I would never recommend it! Shame on your money!

I visited this place today with my wife as we heard from a friend that this please worth going. We are not Turk but we had been living in Turkey for many years so we are familiar with authentic Turkish food. We ordered Ezme (Mediterranean dip) and Haydari to start with which was great however the bread was half cooked. Then we ordered Lahmacun and Eskender. The Lahmacun was ok, a little bit greasy but Ok. Then we ve got the Iskendar! The meat was cold and very thick, the fat was not rendered as well. So I asked to replace it with Bayti with Adana Kabob! The Adana was dense and not properly seasoned. If this place has a same chef at night as it has during the day, it s waste of your time and money!

We went there on weekend. It took too long for our order to come and they even forgot to send one of item order to the kitchen but the taste of every item was really good.
