Dont be deterred by the outside of the building, its nicer Inside! Drove past this place 100 times and wrote it off because it didnt look like much, but after trying it out its VERY good and much nicer on the inside. A solid chicken place! Really didnt have any complaints. I ordered this via Uber eats, and the taste is great. Ill have to go and check the restaurant out in person. My man ordered us the CRACK CHICKEN (YUM) - these were so different. Ive never had chicken that tasted like these, but we were into it I wish I could explain the taste, but all I can say is weird and good! He also ordered the YANG YUM & HONEY GARLIC wings - both very tasty. My favorite of the two was the honey garlic! I really enjoyed the crisp! He also ordered the FRIED ORIGINAL - which we both really liked. I definitely want to order again to try the ramen and the Cajun wings.

Always loved coming here however our most recent order of wings came so soggy and flavors were not what we remembered. tteokbokki barely had rice cakes and the sauce was so runny. Radish tastes old on top of it all. We have always done take out from here or BBQ chicken and never had soggy wings this bad. In the picture theres some wings missing because we tried to eat but it was way too soggy so we had to put it in the air fryer. These photos were after we air fried but we couldn t leave it in too long because the sweet sauces started burning. We were so disappointed

Really good spot to get chicken. The portions are huge (think family style meal), so there will probably be leftovers if everyone orders their own meals. Otherwise, just put it all in the middle of the table and let people sample from everything you ordered.

We went 1/27/2024 and it was so good! We got the combo platter chicken, combo fries, and ramen. That feed my family 4 very well. I felt like we got a good portion of everything we wanted to try. Our server was very kind but she was busy so didn t feel like we could ask for anything but we really didn t need anything. They give you a little trash bucket so that was nice. We spent $75 including the tip. Over all it was a great experience. We loved the music too!

No. 1 Plus Chicken has been around the DFW Metroplex for a while and I ve been a fan since I set foot in the Old K-Town location. And while that location is still around I think the Richardson location has surpassed it. It seems like the chicken at this place is a little more consistent that s the original location. The flavor is spot on and the service is great. One of the things I really appreciate about this location is how spread out the tables are. If you have a larger party this place is so much better. You give up the pocha style feel, but don t feel claustrophobic.

Excellent excellent fried chicken! Both regular and spicy. Extra crispy and not greasy at all A+++. Sides were tasty too. You know the chicken is good if you start craving it at random times, and your picky Korean girlfriend says its really good and craves it too from time to time. Service wasnt bad, but waiter should have provided more napkins and water without having to ask. Atmosphere was not bad, more like a place to drink beer and eat killer chicken at night. Kid-friendliness: Thirteen year old son ate with us and was devouring the chicken too.

I have to be honest that I have never tried anything other than the fried chicken and side of butter soy rice here - but it is just so good I can never forgo the opportunity to get it! Im not a huge fried chicken person, but it is great here. The sauces that go with it are delicious too. A nice bonus is if you want to get it to go, they can put the sauces on the side so it stays crispy. I recommend getting the platter so you can try their best sauces all in one order!

For a place that is so relatively expensive when compared to my usual diet, its impressive that theyve been able to have me coming back as often as they have. Salivating as Im writing about how their wings really are a full-bodied experience; from their juicy and corpulent meat to the almost tastefully done sauce. The reason they get the fifth star though, was because I didnt expect their Green Onion Chicken to entice me just as much. Primarily because it initially put me off, seeing as I used to never have a serving of onions with anything, and expected it to be tolerable enough. Now, I have to put myself on a budget. Oh and of course, I have never met a single worker here with anything less than a courteous attitude towards the workers. Glad to see that they made out the other side of the COVID pandemic restaurant shutdowns!

This was my go to place for Korean Fried Chicken in Garland. Nice / clean environment and friendly employees. For past few month, Ive been ordering them from Uber eats and last 2 orders were really disappointing. - Order from July Ordered Half Yangnyum / Half Korean Fried Chicken Fried Chicken portion was a lot smaller than before. I requested extra sauce on the side and they gave me 2 extra, so thats a plus. - Order from August Ordered Half Yangnyum / Half Korean Fried Chicken I requested extra sauce on the side this time as well.(not substituting yangnyum to fried chicken, just extra sauce) Instead, I received all Fried chicken with 3 sauce on the side. My friends and I went in yesterday (7/3) at around 10:40 pm. We ordered a chicken platter and sauteed spicy chicken/ cheese with two sodas. The floor didnt look too busy (about four tables) but we expected to wait for a while considering its a saturday night before a holiday. An hour later at 11:40 pm, we started getting impatient because we werent getting our drinks or any update from our server. When we asked her about our order, she in fact didnt even recall what weve ordered. She came back 10 minutes later and told us that the order was just put in. We tried to make sense of the situation. Were they busy? Maybe. Did she forget? Maybe. She never gave us the solid reason. Instead, she repeatedly said that the order was just put in. Her being not clear about the reason made us realize that she simply forgot to put in our order. Honestly, mistakes happen. If she would have clearly explained what happend and sincerly apologized, we would have found a solution to work with. But she never explained and she never wanted to apologize. She looked at us like we were being unreasonable. She didnt care that our night was ruined and we wasted an hour without any service or food. She kept going back to the kitchen and talking and giggling with other servers. We were very upset and decided to just leave. When we confronted her on the way out, she admitted that she forgot to put in our order until we brought it up. But still no apologies with an attitude. I dont think we will ever go back to this place. It is the second time Im wasting my time with my orders and being treated like Im in the wrong. And her behavior is not okay. We never got to ask for her name, but I wish I did. This is not acceptable, and I hope her behaviors can be addressed.

I went to try Korean fries chicken for the first time. I have to say I was let down. I read all the great reviews and was hopeful. We offered the platter so we could try 4 stiffened flavors. I can say it was served hot and fresh but it was way overcooked. The oil it was cooked in was most likely in need of changing. The dish was served with slaw. It was sunlit cabbage south a thousand island type dressing squirted on top. I like thousand island so it wasnt bad. I was in the mind set that the sauce for the chicken would be all brushes all over the place pieces. This wasnt the case either. It was simply squirted over the top also. So some pieces dint have alloy of sauce others were soaked. Or waitress was nice. She was efficient even though she was working the entire dining room by herself. This all being said.. Would I return? Most likely a no. But I may go to another Korean fried chicken chain and try again.

Highly recommend this restaurant. They provide excellent customer service when dining in, and their food is always great quality. With delivery, they puncture holes in the boxes to prevent steam, so your food arrives crispy.

LOVE the sweet sautéed garlic chicken! It was soooo crunchy and great flavor. Korean Fried Chickens are the best. The yang yum was ok, and the bulgogi was also decent!

We just wanted two flavors cashier made it much harder than it was supposed to. Explained several times clearly how we wanted them in the beginning about 5-6 times I don t even understand where they got no sauce from we never said no sauce (it wasn t even complicated it was just two flavors of wings) So we finally confirmed one last time two flavors 5 mango habanero 19 original hot and cashier said yes. So we thought it was fine pick up our order they were all mango & 5 with no sauce When we explained again another employee was very kind and understood us but the cashier was still confused. I wish the other employee would ve taken our order instead because he clearly understood our order that was not a complicated order at all. I ve been here before it s never been that complicated I would ve been alright with it but all we got was sauce to compensate for our messed up order and again it would ve been fine but we re spending up $60 for an order.

Tonight I discovered this local gem. As a Richardson resident for over 15 years, I have REALLY been missing out. I was on the search for fried chicken and decided to Google and discovered this place. We ordered online for pick up and we were not disappointed. Upon my husband s return, he commented on how clean the restaurant was, how good it smelled, and the mad respect he received from youngsters who were walking (thank you) who held the door for him. It was unanimous in our house, including our 12 year old, this is our new favorite chicken spot. We ordered fried chicken, dumplings, french fries, Ramen, and boneless chicken. We wanted to try a little bit of everything and we re already looking forward to returning. Please consider supporting a local business and try it for yourself. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. This picture proves my point. Every to go box is empty so there are not any wonderful food pictures Maybe next time! Soooooooo Gooood!

We had the platter of fried chicken prepared with four different flavors. They were all somewhat tasty in their own way, but... I dont know; everything seemed to taste the same, all on the sweetish side. But the chicken was amazingly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. We tried wings too, and they were okay. Didnt like the fries much. I liked the radishes and the shredded cabbage, though ;) Now, the service. It was pretty bad. We had to wait a lot to place our orders, then to get our food. They even forgot about one of our dishes, so we had to wait some more. And we had to wait a long time to get our water refilled. Which comes in a small pitcher that gets empty very fast. The water was nice and cold, though. The cups are tiny styrofoam things - ridiculous, and the napkins are very thin and almost useless. And we got our bill mixed up; but the server was so cute. His manners, I mean. The ambiance was laid back, and the restroom was very nice and clean. So, in conclusion, I think there are better Korean fried chicken/wings places available in the Metroplex, but I guess it would be a fun place to hang out with friends.

I use my Uber eat to order and I change my mind I want to add some extra order so I canceled my Uber eat order. So I call the restaurant and tell them what I want. And go pick up the food. The next day my Uber eat says because they already make my food so I can not get my refund. I call the Uber eat they said they can not do anything but I call back to the restaurant they don t pick up my phone. So I got charged 2 times. Also the sauce is not coating on the chicken is dripping all around.

The food here is absolutely amazing and they a wide variety of drink options to choose from the only thing I would knock them for not having soju drinks in smaller portions but I came here for the chicken not the drinks and the food did not disappoint at all. Cheese Crack Chicken was hella addictive and tasty, Yangyum Chicken was saucy but delicious too. The highlight was the Fried Ricecake and Cheese because it was extremely delicious and tasty.

Passed by the other day and realized they had Korean chicken so we ordered pick up tonight and OMG ITS SO GOOD. Ordered pick up and got a half order of Yangyum medium chicken, mild ramen with added kimchi (DELICIOUS), French fries tossed in the crack cheese, jalapeño poppers and the spring rolls. We will definitely be ordering again! It s nice to have a spot like this nearby. Might stop by for the soju!

Quite possibly the best fried chicken in DFW. This place is rather unassuming from the outside, but inside is a fantastic experience. Service is amazingly quick thanks to call buttons at each table, and each time it has been super friendly and helpful. The K-style chicken is my favorite. Crispy skin, juicy meat, but somehow not greasy like most fried chicken. Good variety of sides and beverages. Only downside is them being closed on Mondays and for dinner only, so keep that in mind (unlike me who had to try another nearby, unnamed place, which wasnt bad but not as good as this place).

Very crispy, soft, juicy tender chicken. A really great spot that hits your korean food, or korean fried chicken cravings. Opens late and such a super casual vibe. Great to go with some friends and wind down, and maybe get a little loud. I love that this spot is close to home, and I dont have to travel so far to get good fried chicken (Carrollton). Their main focus is primarily chicken so dont expect to get a full on list of all your fav korean dishes tho, but that shouldnt stop you. They have many sauces that you can chose to dip your juicy chicken in, and one of my favs is the green onion sauce.

Delicious! We had the green onion and white onion chicken, and an order of the garlic chicken, onion rings and sweet potato fries. Everthing was outstanding! Half portions are enough for 2 people, and the chicken is really nice pieces of white meat. They give you lots of chicken. Restaurant is super clean!!! Excellent food!

The service here really stood out to me, in the best way possible! I wish I d gotten their names but two young men checked on us constantly and were super friendly and communicative! It was a Saturday night and we ordered the sweet sautéed garlic whole fried chicken and fried rice cake with cheese. The rice cake was nice and chewy and the cheese made it taste like we were just eating mozzarella goodness. I think this place would be great to take a group of people to eat lots of food, take pics, and have a good time!

No 1 Plus Chicken- Richardson location What can I say I really wanted this place to be good however my wife and I were disappointed. First off the menu said if you order a whole fried chicken, you should allow 30 minutes to cook. Ok no problem I m thinking they make it fresh to order. Well that didn t seem to be the case. We ordered 1 whole fried chicken, and it came out 5 minutes later. I know it takes much longer than 5 minutes to cook a whole chicken. Now don t get me wrong it wasn t bad, it just wasn t that good, to me it was just ok. I think they open at 5 pm and we got there at 5:45. I hope we didn t get reheated chicken from the night before. My wife and I categorized it as drunk chicken, meaning it would be good if you were drunk. We also ordered spicy baby octopus, and a side order of Kimchi. The baby octopus was very good, spicy and had a nice freshness to it, that dish was well prepared. The Kimchi was also good. I don t know what to say, maybe it was an off night, because the place gets really good reviews, but not so good to me.
