Mr. Fell was a lifesaver for us. We had an extremely difficult circumstance with our previous rental company where conditions including mold and huge foundational issues existed in the home and we were forced to leave for our family s health and safety. The company was refusing to take responsibility despite our efforts to follow the proper protocols as tenants and that s when my husband and I contacted Mr. Fell. He reviewed our case as well as all the action steps we had taken and was able to offer expert guidance and made us feel tremendously more secure with him as our advocate. When he got involved the rental company accepted the lease termination they were given and returned our security deposit in full. I am 100% certain this outcome was due to Mr. Fell being involved on our behalf. Whoever handles the phone calls of first time clients trying to find out any information on the services provided is extremely rude and unprofessional. She would not tell me what services this firm could offer, only that I had to present my case in an $350 consultation appointment to see if they were able to help me. I m not asking for a free consultation, I just needed to know if they even provided the type of legal help I need.

Like another reviewer posted, I was reluctant to make the appointment and pay the $350 consult, thinking Id waste the money and not have a case. However, Attorney Fell is great at thinking outside the box, and finding technicalities. He is also honest to inform you of what points will vs will not hold up in a court. Before meeting this attorney, my landlord would ignore my e-mails. After I told my landlord what I learned from my consult with Gregory Fell, I got a positive result on one issue within hours. Finally, I appreciate that his attorney was very accommodating to schedule me in his busy schedule. The positive result I got today was on a time-sensitive issue, so I am grateful for how quickly he worked me in. Next week, Attorney Fell will write a letter to address my other issue, and I look forward to see him work some magic on that.

Even though Greg couldn t take our case, he was super informative and looked at our case before taking a dime. I ve spoken to many lawyers before him that wouldn t even look at our paperwork before taking payment. This firm advertises free initial consultation, yet when you call that s not accurate. They now have replied that it is not for my kind of case. When you google them, they state that they deal in tenant / Landlord issues, which is exactly what we wanted potential help with. In the same section it says free consultation right on the main section that comes up. However, that is not what happens when you call for consultation. They charge $350 to even speak to you. Easily found another firm that did speak to us, and has already resolved the issues. Nice try, but reality is that you falsely advertise to get people to call and then push them to pay. Not a firm I would want to represent me.

Called in for help with a legal matter and got a response due to a current case load I cannot take on the case. When I asked for a referral, I got nothing. Edit: I updated from one star to four stars based on Mr. Fells response. To his point below, it is extremely difficult to find an attorney that actually represents homeowners. As we know the big money is representing HOAs which causes a growing system of abuse where homeowners become helpless victims against these big quasi-governmental entities. To add insult to injury, the homeowner ends up financing the legal representation against themselves through HOA dues, leaving little funds left to hire an attorney to actually defend them. After weeks of searching for the right representation and having every door close - I was really excited to finally find someone that I believed could actually help me. My original one star was more a reflection of having nowhere to turn to and having to go back to square one. The fact that you have so much work on your plate and that you cant take on another case points to the fact that your services are desperately needed service. I wish you well on your current cases and your lucky clients.

When our homeowners insurance carrier denied us coverage after a devastating loss. Insurance carrier delayed, delayed, denied, made ridiculous offer and even tried a little intimidation. Once Mr. Fell was on the case he was able to quickly resolve the dispute and recover policy limits. He was courteous and knowledgeable. Took the time to explain the process to me. My wife and I had a terrible experience with our landlord at a rental home. After calling a few lawyers that didnt seem to know what they were talking about, we called Greg and he immediately put our mind at ease and took our case. We were going up against a huge insurance company and while it took some time and money Greg and his team did all their homework and ended up coming up with a settlement both parties agreed on. Upon move out we had to sue our landlord for breach of contract and Greg took our case again, and worked out a favorable payment agreement which he did not have to do. We won the case and felt good about not backing down. I could not recommend him and his law firm more!

I never thought I would need a lawyer for anything until I needed a lawyer. I did not know where to turn except the internet. Needless to say I was wary since this was serious business, but other reviews helped my decide to reach out and see if he can assist me with a tenant/landlord issue regarding my security deposit. I submitted some basic information on the web in the evening and I received a response early the next morning. After a brief phone consultation we met in person and he took my case. My experience with Mr. Fell is that he took me seriously, and I got honest feedback and legal advice. I felt better meeting with him to discuss the particulars. While sitting in his office, I noticed that he has strong credentials. We didnt talk about strategy, I left that to the expert, but my sense was that he would be aggressive if it was called for. After I engaged their services, I never had to contact them to ask what was going on. The communication was proactive and timely, either email or phone call from Greg Fell himself or the paralegal. We concluded my case to my satisfaction. I would happily refer him to anyone else encountering issues as a tenant and highly recommend his services based on the communication and responsiveness, quality of the services and value I received for my money. I really appreciate what he did. I would not hesitate to use Mr. Fells firm if I ever had to do so again. This law firm is trustworthy.

Sadly the only tenant lawyer in East Texas apparently. In it for the quick win and easy money. My family and I have been fighting clear retaliation by our previous landlord (and winning) by ourselves. About 3 months ago after Fell accepted my $300 his advice consisted of excuses and laziness. The waters are too muddy (too much effort required) I believe was the legal term used. Now we face a bill from our previous landlord for $3,000+ for early termination in the face of retaliation and a hostile environment created by the property management. Thanks for nothing. I hope my $300 paid part of your fancy car payment. Enjoy. Marry Christmas and happy new years. UPDATE: 12/31/2018 08:15 In accordance with TAA and the Texas State Law our landlords have retaliated against us 3 times and have made aggressive and slanderous accusations against us (under oath in court) because they have all the money in the world to play with and we are alone in this fight. At what point is Honest Legal Advice and Justice the same thing?!? Or does the law only apply to those under a specific income?!? Is morality subject to financial class? All that it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing

This law firm is horrible. Im the one with permanent injuries and mental distress yet when my settlement came they got more money than I did. They reduced how much they paid out to my doctor bills but made sure they paid themselves in full and then some. The way I was treated during my time as their was terrible especially by Courtney. I do not recommend them nor will I ever use them again. Please beware of this sham law firm

I did some research on a potential HOA legal issue where I thought I should consult with an attorney. I read great reviews regarding Greg Fell before I decided to schedule my appointment. His office was able to get me on his calendar within a reasonable timeframe. The meeting started with Greg asked me some general questions, and then Greg asked me to tell him what my issue was. Greg let me talk without interruption. He s a great listener and was totally focused on every word I was saying. After I was done telling him my story, he recapped several of the major comments I made, and agreed on the significance of those issues. I would strongly recommend Greg Fell to anyone. He was honest by telling me that I have a good case, however, he offered some good suggestions in trying to resolve my issue without civil litigation, which I agreed to attempt. Having spent 40 years of my career dealing with various attorneys in the criminal law courts; Greg Fell is in the top 5% of the hundreds of other lawyers I have dealt with in my career! I was referred to Fell Law Firm by a colleague. Naturally having to speak with any attorney can be heart palpitating, but not with Fell Law Firm. After speaking with Greg, I knew immediately I had made the right choice. He was so professional, insightful and understanding. Fell firm did a great job helping me recover after a guy crossed into the HOV and hit me on my motorcycle at 55mph. He helped arrange for the medical treatment and physical therapy to get me back on my feet with no out of pocket costs. Greg really does run his practice with big firm fight and small town values. He works hard and takes the cases seriously. He has a strong moral compass and its not all about money. Our case against our big insurance company was small and he wasnt making much money. It was the principle and Greg took our case and settled it out of court. GREAT ATTORNEY, Worth the Investment. I contacted Mr. Fell to assist me with an eviction appeal the tenant filed. I needed someone who could assist me ASAP.
