My experience with Amell is: first, he is a very humble man, he loves what he does, I met him in a personal consultation, which told me things as they are, the pros and cons, he does not work to earn money, he does it because he loves his job. He is an honest man, because when I asked him about a case, he was truthful, and he said I will never give you advice that will harm you. That is why I recommend Amell to anyone who asks me about an immigration lawyer. 100% recommended. We contacted Amell Law Firm soon after Hurricane Ian. We needed to go through the appeals process with Fema. JJ Amell represented us through this process which lasted almost 6 months. There were many back-and-forth phone calls and emails. Every phone call and/or email was answered within 24 hours if not immediately. JJ kept us reassured and up to date when we were not certain. In my eyes you went above and beyond. It has been our pleasure to have you represent us. We found JJ to be trustworthy, upstanding and authentic. My parents hired Mr. Amell to research how to bring the dog that my mother rescued in Brazil to the United States. It was at the height of the COVID pandemic and the laws controlling the transport of pets were changing. Mr. Amell did thorough and detailed research on how to carry out the conveyance, and explained in writing in a clear manner how to navigate the legal process. I have known Dr. Juan Jose (JJ) for over 20 years, when we attended Brazil-United States Comparative Law classes, at the Largo Sao Francisco facilities, at the University of Sao Paulo (USP), through an agreement with our universities Americans. Fluent in three languages, Dr. Juan has a vast knowledge of how Latin culture works (including Brazil).
