Horrible customer service. Had a curbside pick up and waited a while. Got the item and it was torn. I went in to get an exchange and they kept the item and told me to go look for another one. They couldn t tell me where the item was located. Talked to three people before a manager helped me looked for the item. They had none. Then I had to wait in a long line to get my money back. So ridiculous. Terrible experience. Will never shop at this Dick s again.

Terrible customer service. My family purchased merchandise in Plano, warehouse store, and a security tag was left on a pair shoes. We live near this location and stopped in today to have it taken off. My teenage daughter was treated with disrespect. Another store makes a mistake and they should be able to fix, we had proof of purchase from a week ago. The shoes weren t in a box because I had Plano location toss it as the shoes were mine so I knew fit and did not plan on returning it per the warehouse policy.

Decent service today (Sat at 5 pm), but this is the most dusty store. Clothing items folded nicely, but dont accidentally drag anything to the fitting room because you will collect all the dust on your item. Before you get to the dressing room, take Benadryl or the dust bunnies that are ALL OVER THE FLOOR will attack you and make you not even want to try anything on! Management: swiffers, brooms, and cheap vacuums are right next door at Wally world.

Selection is great, its a huge store. For a Saturday afternoon though, they seemed short handed especially in the footwear department. I asked an employee if he could help with some shoes, but he couldnt because he worked in a different department. He could have offered to find me some help though. When I did get some help, the kid scanned the display shoe to tell me if they had the shoe or not. After the first two I asked for were out of size 10, he then directed me to the small tablet mounted in the shoe department and said I could browse that to see what was available in my size. Before he could say anything else I gave him two more to check, which were available. He was helping me and another girl. Are two customers that difficult to handle to offer full service? Are my request too much of an inconvenience to where I need to find the availability myself. The store is just short of letting me go to the stockroom to find the shoe myself. Only reason I went there was because of the selection. If academy had my size in the style I wanted the previous night which was down the street, which is expectedly self service I would have bought from them.

I bought some items online that were too big. They don t have an option for returns by mail. At least not that easy to find. But they do offer curbside returns according to their website. I have four small kids and taking them into stores is a nightmare. So u decided to do curbside. As instructed I parked in the curbside spots and called the store upon arrival. The very rude person who answered told me I have to bring the items into the store. When I mentioned the website states you do curbside returns, she didn t say anything. So I hung up. When I dragged my kids into the store, stood in line for the return it was my lucky day. The same rude person who answered the phone was now helping me at the register. Her entire demeanor was so rude. I will not be returning.

Just called asking about a shoe that is set to release later the month. I wanted to get myself on a list before resellers come in and buy up all their stock. I visited the store today and had a disappointing experience with the service. Despite the presence of a large number of customers, there was only one cashier working. The manager was observed standing idly by, seemingly unconcerned about the long line forming. This lack of assistance from the manager was unprofessional and left customers feeling frustrated and neglected. One customer eventually approached the manager to inquire about the lack of additional cashiers. Unfortunately, the manager responded with an unhelpful attitude, displaying a clear lack of professionalism. It should be noted that the manager said only five employees were working, which further added to the inefficiency and delays. Also, never once did he apologize for the inconvenience. As the situation continued to deteriorate, customers began to leave the store and abandon their items on nearby shelves. Rather than assisting the overwhelmed cashier, the manager was seen gathering these abandoned items and returning them to their respective shelves. This further highlighted the lack of organization and support by management. I would like to emphasize that this incident occurred on 2/2/24 and it is my sincere belief that the managers behavior was unacceptable. For a manager to get frustrated at the shoppers while his cashier struggled checking people out. It is clear that such a manager is not fit for their role and should be replaced. The overall experience was disappointing, and I hope that appropriate actions are taken to address these issues and improve the service quality in the future.

Even knowing I wouldnt be buying today, Noah in the shoes department was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient. He was polite to everyone he encountered and managed helping several people at once. I love the product that I purchased! But I m so incredibly glad that I purchased it online or I might ve left it where it was. I arrived for online pickup to a increasingly long line of customers awaiting service, and confused associates. I asked, and was directed to a single station at the front were I was then greeted by an associate(appeared to be manager) with an attitude letting me know that I needed to check in on my phone before I could be serviced. Don t Expect any customer service. I was in a hurry and wanted to try on some outfits. I pressed the button to call someone to the dressing room but no one came. Found a kid working in the shoe department who was on his phone and didn t have a key to the dressing room. When he called someone to help, no one answered. Had I not wanted the outfit so bad I would have walked out. The only nice person was the elderly gentleman at the register.

Great sale prices posted everywhere, but tough to get help since you cant identify any employee because they dont wear uniforms apparently, and pricing is all over the place. Tag on the item says $29.99 and its 33% off. Got home before I realized it scanned in at $34.99 -33%, and my other item marked $5.99 scanned at $14.99 -33%. Ill go to academy next time.

Why does it seem like this place is ran by 16yr olds? Its like being in a cell phone store. Went to buy a ping pong table from the kids, kid 1 brings out 2 large boxs, & loads 1. We were looking to but a canoe but were inexperienced in boating. The staff got a canoe out of the back and hauled it to a place my kids get in to try it. I really want to like this store. It s a great location and they have a great selection, but they are making little to no effort to help flatten the Covid curve. They are not enforcing any of the social distancing signs or requiring anyone to wear a mask. Just to make things worse, they have slow checkout. If you don t make people stay six feet apart and you re not making them wear masks, then you shouldn t be allowing a line of people to form at checkout. I will not consider returning until after there is a vaccine.

It takes 20 minutes to checkout because cashiers are too busy asking 8 different ways if I want to sign up for rewards or credit cards. My review reflects poorly on the corporate BS they force on their employees which in turn harms the customer. Not that I would ever purchase a firearm here, but they stopped carrying certain types because they look scary? This isnt a hunting/sports store, its a liberal machine that marks prices high and doesnt give a hoot about veterans neither. This is a store for soccer moms only. I will never step foot in another Dicks or affiliate again.

How can you publicly claim to no longer sell guns and ammo when Field and Stream is the same store? I mean, you arent even pretending it is different! Anyways.... Very over priced compared to competitors. I think they mark stuff up just so they can mark it down. Also, I was very disappointed in selection of some items, and the layout was a bit confusing based off where product was. HATE- 1) stores who do not make their employees wear some kind of uniform, everyone is in plain clothes, who do i ask for to get help? Someone with a radio in their ear.... No, thats a guy on his cell phone... Name tag... Cant find any... Oh, guy working on a bike.. He didnt know... 2)hate when you cant see the price as they ring things up!! I asked for what it was ringing up as and the cashier ignored me but seemed to do something on register after I asked. Turns out 3/5 items I bought were a different price than marked on shelf! 3)hate signs explaining tiered clearance stickers, and everything was first tier... My bad, you tricked me into looking at more stuff. Seems like a dishonest trickery tactic... Which seems to be a theme here... Competitors are less expensive, friendlier, and more consistent.

Store is clean. That s the good part. But military personnel beware! They do not give military discounts at this location. Were told that corporate won t allow them to do so anymore. Odd, since we ve been able to use it throughout the entire United States so far, except here. I was always told Texas is military friendly and accommodating. False.

We went to the store to purchase some flip flops for my daughter. She has a thin foot and the standard slides and flip flops are too wide for her. We found some nice flip flops from Reef that fit her perfectly. I go to Dicks for the wide selection and consistently friendly customer service.

This place is so much better than the one located inside the Stonebriar mall. I,especially, like how everything is displayed facing out (rather than hung sideways against the walls)for customers to see the merchandise. It seems like they have more sizes than the other location. I already visited this location twice this week. By the way, the employees are friendly and very helpful too.

This location has a huge selection of shoes for men which is great but I wish they had more options for women. I may have kissed it but I didnt see any womens shoes for basketball or volleyball specifically. The staff was nice and the store was very clean. Keep up the good work!

I was really happy with my experience at Dicks. As soon as I walked in there was a lady whos ready to show me whatever I wanted to see. I just went there to buy some shoes so I went back to the shoe section and I was surprised how many people were working there and how knowledgeable day seems to be about the selection of shoes. Its nice to go somewhere where theres not a bunch of 12 year old kids working. I found two nice pairs of shoes one for 29.99 and and one for $49.99. They are running shoes. One was New Balance and the other one was a Reebok.
