Their BBQ Crabs won 3 YEARS in a row! Well deserved, because it s literally the best! They have really good food all around but the honorable mentions that my family loved is the BBQ Crabs and fish, shrimp and oysters in their delicious cornmeal batter has been their original classics. Their crawfish fried rice is special because it tastes like a fried rice dish had a baby with a crawfish boil, it s SO good. Salt and pepper fried baby crabs (seasonal), shrimp, wings and gizzards are a favorite in my family too. I haven t been able to try their boiled crawfish, shrimp and dungeoness or snow crabs yet but my cousins in town recommend them to everyone. I just get excited for all the fried dishes that I don t have room when I visit haha! I drive all the way from Baton Rouge, LA to eat here and I can t say enough good things about it. They were the first original John s Seafood and then they built a brand new building and rebranded to Seaside Seafood. I ve been following them for years when I come into town to visit family and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to EVERYONE!

This place was horrible. We ordered popcorn shrimp, 1 stuffed shrimp, boudin balls and 8 hot wings. The stuffed shrimp was still frozen in the middle. The boudin balls were bland and the fries were cold. Wings, my husband ate and said they were just OK. I never received my popcorn shrimp because she never put the order in. I wouldnt recommend this place. PS this was our first visit!

I had the fried ribs for the first time. It tasted pretty good however the food portion for the price was not equivalent. The ribs were small bite sized pieces but it had bones inside of the pieces making it smaller. Also it had a lot of grease.

EXCELLENT! Awesome delicious food, Awesome customer service & restaurant super clean. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Hubby and I went on the 18th & enjoyed it so much we went back today (the 23rd). Weve tried the BBQ crabs (big & meaty), jumbo popcorn shrimp (they are really jumbo), salt & pepper chicken (good flavor, not cooked too hard or dry) & the pork chops...MY GOODNESS! Fries & shrimp fried rice is good as well. THE FOOD IS BUSSIN BUSSIN!

Their Barbeque Crabs, Fried Oysters and Crawfish Rice are delicious. Good Customer Service! The original owners of Johns Seafood (Bluebonnet). Their food is NOT as good quality as Johns Seafood signature dishes. Fried Fish is under seasoning and cooked too soft. Shrimp Fried Rice is NOT GOOD at all. Seasides food is VERY OVERPRICED. I guess by them building a new facility cause them to up their prices. By Seaside upping the cost of their food, Customers should get better QUALITY food.

I have a very picky eater 5 ur old. I got her the, i think it was the 8 pc., fried fish. Was thinking if she did not eat it her grandpa will after work. She ate all the fish and most of the fries. If the food pleases her then u know it has to be good. Grandpa ate my crawfish fried rice, which i enjoyed all that i could eat. This was my first visit and I will be back. Hruska

I GOT THE 14 BUFFALO WINGS ACTUALLY HALF BARBECUE/ HALF BUFFALO WITH SHRIMP FRIED RICE AND I ATE THE ENTIRE THING RIGHT DOWN TO EVERY PIECE OF RICE. Kinda hidden behind another building. But this place is awesome. The staff was busy, yet very friendly, and professional. This is a family owned restaurant, and a real gem. The food was true southern fried seafood, fresh, and properly cooked, portions were great. And the price is very reasonable. Ill definitely go back. The only con was the cups for ice tea need to be bigger please.
