Even though this is a newer hotel, I was extremely disappointed. There must be no one to maintain grounds quality because there was trash EVERYWHERE outdoors. There was no clean area to sit. And the bbq area was absolutely disgusting. And there was a faint smell of smoke on the upper floors. My room was clean and comfortable, but in the four nights that I was there, no one ever came to refresh the room. Luckily the front date was super accommodating. I wouldnt stay at that location again.

Overall a really good location. I ve stayed at a few different Home2Suites now in different states and this one definitely impressed me. It was very clean and comfortable. One of the days I stayed in the room for the duration of the entire day so that should say a lot. I was a little questioning of the single King bed rooms but they are a lot larger than expected and come with a pretty good size pull out bed sofa. It s basically in a living room open layout with the bed by the window and then the kitchen (really nice and modern) by the door. The bathroom here was very clean as well. The customer service from the point of check in to check out was very kind. I want to highlight Erica who on the morning of the 12th went out of her way to help me carry a tray of breakfast all the way to the third floor just because I was out of hands. Really superb level customer service. I was shocked when she offered. I didn t even have to ask! I would for sure stay here again!

We stayed here for 4 nights. Overall comfortable hotel with the basic amenities we needed. I would say pretty self serve as there is not daily maid service or towels at the pool but the front desk is accommodating if you ask for things. This kitchenette was nice and had a large fridge which is good. Plenty of basic dishes. The bed was very comfortable. The pool area was nice but the pool does need a good cleaning. Staff friendly and always available. The location was great, you can access major hwys easily and also walk to many restaurants.

5 stars it was amazing great service but best of all they have to stray cats that they take care of they are so sweet a little skittish but amazing there names are Mario and scruffy 100/10 and we could see them from the room breakfast was wonderfull and they have little things of Nutella the pool was warm but they lied about the spa/hottub but the cats made up for it

I travel alot. This was very disappointing when I seen there breakfast and rooms. I am here for three weeks and they said they had a stove top so I can cook. A microwave is not a way to cook. Carpets are dirty. There breakfast we pay high dollars for well they are out of everything that is somewhat decent to eat or drink. There breakfast sandwiches are under a light to keep warm but if you touch it its really hard! There is some kind of security load speaker that goes off every every ten minutes outside all night. Doors slamming really hard keeps you awake.I if your wanting good stay and your moneys worth its not here at this hotel.

Not sure if housing skipped my room but I had no towels, no toilet tissue and well there was hair in the tub. I really enjoyed Hilton because you can order fresh food while you stay there but this time I was very disappointed. Other than that the staff was very welcoming. Oh and do know the pool is outside and not sure why it wasnt open or the exercising room either ..

Room: the shower floor was absolutely dirty and dark(scum). Disgusting, I had to shower standing on a towel. Dusty and TV picture was discolored. Unclean. I had wipe down everything. Breakfast: The breakfast cook talk to you absolutely too much while youre trying to prepare your breakfast. I felt she was watching and monitoring what I was getting and doing. Very uncomfortable and its too early for that. The waffle mix was watery with no taste. The hot water has black flakes in it. I had to leave the hotel to go get breakfast. Staff: the night staff was nowhere to be found I kept knocking, he finally came from beyond the wall with his headphones in. Couldnt provide me an extra sheet because the one on my bed had makeup stains . Was never acknowledged as a Hilton honors member, wasnt offered the water and the snacks the other hotels offer, really bad customer service. Ive never experienced someone coming to my door knocking to make sure Im leaving when they granted me a late checkout. Uncomfortable and unprofessional. Totally unnecessary. I wouldnt recommend or stay at this location again. I only came here because residence Inn was booked and the Hampton is an older property. Extremely disappointed with this Hilton hotel. 2 stars because of location. Rooms: Shower floor dirty, stained sheets and dusty. Food and drinks: Lower your expectations for breakfast. Cook monitors what you are getting, uncomfortable plus talks too much. Disappointing. May have to go out like I did to get breakfast.

Members of the staff were warm and inviting! The facility was spotless! Rooms: Spacious room! Very efficient. Excellent use of space. Walkability: Several restaurants are within easy walking distance. Food and drinks: Complimentary breakfast is great. A wide variety of dishes was available!

Comfortable and clean. We didnt make use of the free breakfast but there were lots of options. Plenty of parking. Several grills on site to use. Room was pretty well set up for longer stays with a decent sized refrigerator/freezer and glassware. We only stayed one night so didnt make use of all the convenient things there.

Hotel was nice, clean and quite. Room was very nice. My only issue was when I arrived I stood at the front desk for several minutes. There was a lady sitting nearby at a table on her computer. I thought she was a guest. I went back outside and loaded my bags on a cart then returned to the front desk. After a couple of more minutes the lady sitting nearby suddenly looked up and came to the desk. I was shocked that she hadnt responded the first time I stood at the desk. I guess her computer was more important than customer service.

This place was good to us. I came with 2 kids under 5. I stayed 3 days brought our own crib and definitely used the sofa bed. Our room didn t have a stove idk if any of the other rooms do. The pool was nice it doesn t have a kids short end the only reason why i am posting 4 stars. They may not get a lot of kid traffic which is why maybe they dont have a kid pool area which i understand. Other than that great staff, gave me clean towels when i asked. Super friendly.

The staff and everyone was great. When booking a room on line and I decide to extend the rate should remain the same as the day I booked it. When using the hotel appliances. It didnt work well. I had to leave the hotel. As I said in the beginning the hotel and staff in general is the respond I stayed longer than expected.

Ive really taken a liking to this hotel chain. Home 2 suites delivers great hotel rooms fully stocked with a kitchenette, microwave, spacious refrigerator, utensils, plates, mugs, etc. Very comfortable place to stay with a great gym too. Always clean and high quality. Looking forward to seeking out home 2 suites in the future as a go-to for a nice comfortable place to stay.

Rooms were decent layout, bathroom door was weird. The water pressure was TERRIBLE and breakfast was the worst Ive ever had, comprable to hospital food with less options. Looks nothing like the signs in the elevator, infact those items were no where there. Just omelets and soggy bread english muffins w sausage. Rotten fruit and no Orange Juice! Will not be stay here again and unfortunately im in town every other weekend.

While our family relocated here from Louisiana due to hurricane Ida. We have been here for over a month and a 1/2. While here we not only made acquaintances but made friends. Ms. Bernina and Ms. Debbie at the front desk are awesome. Ms.D and Ms. Martha are really great housekeepers. And of course I cannot go w out mentioning Ms. Shonda in the kitchen. I hated the bathroom door in my room! Whoever thought about those sliding farm doors didnt think this one through. There was no privacy whatsoever. I had to share a room with three other people from work. Everyone can see and hear every single thing in there. And It didnt help that the shower doors are clear glass so when you showered people can see right in as your scrubbing your behind. Horrible horrible horrible.

I stayed for two nights 10/4 & 10/5. Parked my Toyota SUV right in front of the hotel where there is enough lighting and cameras. On 5th morning i came to know that Catalytic converters are stolen. Contacted the hotel multiple times asking to verify the videos. Finally, spoke with Manager in person on 6th morning. Unfortunately, very poor response. I was told that she will check and call. No response yet. Be careful if you plan to stay there and park vehicle on the premises.

3 stars because the room was a little warm when we arrived. The air conditioner took about 45 minutes to cool the room comfortably, so that was a little annoying. The water pressure in the shower was pretty low and only one shower head setting made it tolerable. If these things get corrected, it could probably be 4 stars.

I showed up on 07/30, just after 4pm. I had checked in the day before on the Hilton App and selected room 130. Checked in physically and the room was filthy, was then told I had to choose another room on the 3rd floor which is not ok because I have 3 boys under the age of 6. I showed up over an hour post check in and still the room I selected was not ready,was given the room to then notify staff the room was filthy, and then was moved... Had I shown up at the actual check-in time then what?

Hilton has always been one of my top favorite places to stay when Im out on the road for business. I travel quite extensively through the entire state of Texas. And Hilton has many of the conveniences that just work. From the keyless entry right there on the phone app. To being able to check in through the app and go straight to your room. I would like to see Hilton start utilizing smart TVs. Itd be nice to be able to either stream or log in to things such as YouTube and Netflix. But theres a reason why Im a diamond member at Hilton, because they know how to make your stay away from home as painless and the most comfortable stay possible.

This place was amazing stayed here with my wife and 4 children staff was curious and put us near other people with children so we wouldnt disturb them our children are rambunctious most people want to know whats wrong with a place first so there is really isnt much to say water pressure is not great and the pool is a bit small it was suuuuper crowded everyday bumping shoulders. All in all it was pretty great for sure lots of food nearby accommodations for everyone and amazing staff from top to bottom bit on the expensive side but you get what you pay for and it was worth it. We had two bed and a pull out couch we still brought our play pen for the baby to sleep in but everyone had plenty of room and slept comfortably they even had a bag with extra sheets and pillows in the cabinets

Very nice hotel room. I stayed for 3 nights with my kids and the staff here is absolutely amazing! Everyone is super nice ! The room was clean and had everything you needed for a stay. The cleaning ladies were fast and efficient at their jobs. Just super. The pool was fun and the lights they have at night time were a hit with the children.Honestly only thing I wasn t to keen off was the low water pressure. It took a bit to get everyone cleaned up but besides that the stay was very enjoyable!

Had been staying here weekly for last month. Coming in on Sundays and leaving on Fridays. Yesterday myself and many others were told there were no clean rooms available. After waiting for 4 hours and was being told by front desk clerk that nothing could be done we went and got another hotel. Front Desk attendant told us we should complain to Hilton. Very poor quality. One person was assigned to a room to find it had not been cleaned.

Nice hotel and cool rooms. The front desk staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the morning of checkout. The housekeeping tried to enter early and woke us up. We told them we weren t checking out until later and the lady said, ok I ll come back at noon. 9 AM and she was back trying to enter our room! Why? We yelled we are leaving at 11. She said ok no problem. Then she started vacuuming loudly outside our room. Luckily we had all the locks on so she didn t come in to see us in bed, but when there is a do not disturb on the door, and it s well before check out time, why come twice?? Other than that, they have a great breakfast and a nice gym. It is a convenient place near nice restaurants.

The hotel is very clean, safe and quiet. The beds are comfortable with very soft sheets. The kitchenette is equipped with dishes and utensils along with a refrigerator, garbage disposal and dishwasher with microwave. Our room had 2 queen sized beds and a sleeper sofa. The room has lots of drawers and counter space for storage and theres an ironing board with iron. The hair dryer is in a bag in the bathroom drawer. Theres free breakfast with a sausage cheese muffin, yogurt, bagel with cream cheese, boiled eggs and cereal. Coffee, hot chocolate and tea are available. My family has been to the hotel twice in the past two weeks.

We where placed at this hotel by our insurance. When we got there the room was very clean and spacious. The next morning my 6 year old was watching tv at volume 25, it was not loud at all. I got a call from the feont desk to turn the volume down, so then my child could barley hear what he was watching.then today I get yet another call of someone complaining that my dog howled once. Now I can see how this may be disturbing if it was a loud howl but the only reason the person next to us heard it was because we where bringing him outside and where walking down the hallway! The lady told me of my dog continues to make noises she would have him REMOVED. I told her if anyone except us lays a finger on my sog I would contact the police. She then pulls out a contract that didnt even belong to us and told me to sign it. I told her that my last name is not what was o. The contract. As time went on me and my husband decided that we were no longer comfortable there and left. We qhere scheduled to be there for 21 days while our home was being finished due to hurricane laura. I will never stay at this hotel again because of how unwelcoming it was to me my family and my dogs! If you are going to run a pet friendly hotel please understand that dogs bark every now and then. Mine barked ONCE and the treatment we got was not worth the amount of money my insurance was willing to pay!

Hurricane Laura caused mass Power outagesIn our area. I called on August 31, 2020 and asked if they had a room available. The lady that answered the phone told me that she had a Group that possibly didn t all show up and if I would wait on hold she could let me know if a room was available but it would only be for one night. I told her I didn t mind holding, and asked her how much the room would be for the night, her response was $249. I confirmed that she said $249 for one night. This is blatant price gouging!

Staff was friendly, but where slow in moving us to a new room. We were not able to sleep in the first one, due to the people next door having a party, and the second room not letting us in at all. This may be one of the only negative reviews amongst the many positive ones, but I do not recommend staying at this specific location. Other locations are typically 4/5 stars, but this one is definitely the worst hotel i have stayed at in many years.

This was my Second time staying here. The first time was for business and it was a month stay. This time it was to visit family and friends. It was awesome, from the time I check in. Staff was a big help (Bernitta, Olivia, and Miss D), 5 star treatment all the way. My 5 year forgot his first stuff animal ( aka best friend). Miss Bernitta when out of the way to make sure my son had his toy back. It was mailed out next day. I ll definitely be back here.

To start, the staff at this hotel is excellent. Finding yourself every morning, afternoon or evening with the smile and good vibes of the people who serve you, without a doubt changes your day. The breakfast is not the best, it doesnt have many options. If you are looking for, for example, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. You will find small packages that you can heat in the microwave, but it is not made right away. There are cereals, fruits, breads and you can even make waffles. The gym is new, there is also a small pool and the girls at the reception are the best. Port Arthur is not an area known for having much to do around it, but just steps away from the hotel there is a Saltgrass with very delicious food.
