This is one of the worst place ever!! Staff has no discipline and lack of trade skills. Those people just go in to make a check and give 0% on customer service. Popeyes is a good place or should I say was a good place but those type of employees are ruing all fast foods around Port Arthur. You have to double check your orders in every single place since they don t care to even get a simple order correct.

I arrived at Popeyes during lunch and the sign said pull forward. I pulled forward to the window, no one is available and the doors are locked. I asked what was going on once I knocked on the window and the employee mentioned Popeyes dont want to pay us and no one is coming to work its only 2 of us.

Food takes forever, even if you place an online order ahead of time. I put an online order and when i get there they said they were closed (doors were unlocked) and to request a refund online. Then an employee who was out of uniform, touched me to get me to leave the store after i was requesting my refund. After i asked her not to touch me anymore she started yelling saying its fine and okay bye which is NOT FINE! Update: she then proceeded to call my employer to slander me saying i was acting a fool as if i did something wrong? All bc i told her not to touch me. This has been the most unprofessional encounter i have ever experienced here.

First, I walked in and the place was smoky like a club. I get ready to place my order Which was a two piece spicy with a mashed potato and Dr Pepper. I also placed the order for a 12 piece ghost pepper with a red beans and rice biscuit and lemonade I get my food. I have a two-piece and nothing else in the box. I have my 12 piece with Red beans and rice I asked the lady where is my mashed potatoes with the two piece and the biscuit and also where is my biscuit that goes with my 12 piece that I told you I wanted it Then tell me we have no biscuits we have no mashed potatoes. We are out of ice for drinks and we only have Coke and Fanta. I waited seven minutes for some fresh ghost pepper wings, which were not fresh didn t realize it until after I left the bathroom. Ladies has the door handle, torn off the men s restroom. If you go in your subject, not to come out the doors jammed the place needs to be shut down or management needs to be corrected. I would never eat there again not to mention. I ll call back to complain about my food. If you want Popeyes go the location on Spurlock Rd. I have always gone to this location but it keeps going down. Last night was the last straw. The service is bad, the wait is forever only to get an old, overcooked, dry, toasted, shriveled up, gross box of chicken. Im done. Get out of line and look for some roadkill on the way home and it will be more fresh and probably have more meat. Dont mind me, Im just disappointed for paying $40 for trash. I should have just eaten the dollar bills. I love Popeyes franchise but this location no longer holds anything close to the standard.

It is very clear that every Popeyes has racist employees working there. I have completely stopped getting chicken there because of that. The last time I went too one, it was on Gulfway Drive in Port Arthur Texas. I was going to go through the drive through but it was packed so I went inside. There was 1 person inside other than me. They took his order and the employee told him it would be a few minutes so he sat down. Then I gave them a small order and I was told it was going to take about 15 minutes as I stood there I saw everyone in the drive through continued to get Their food while we had too wait. I said something to her about that and she said all of those people were here before you came in. That s not right and I told her that! I could have been there forever! The man who ordered his chicken from inside got his chicken and left within a few minutes. I mentioned that too. She said we don t have any chicken cooked When I could SEE chicken sitting in the back because there is a mirror over it. And I told her that. Another woman inside that must have also worked there too got up and went to the lady and said, Just give her the chicken !!! So then the woman gave me my small order and I went out to my car to leave and the woman that told her to give me the chicken followed me out. I started to back out when this young woman pulled out behind me Blocking me from leaving! I knew she was intentionally doing that and it really just verified my comment about racism. She finally took off and so did I and we were side by side on Gulfway Drive and I just laid on my horn when I past her. No, I will never go to another Popeyes ever again! There really needs to be a crew that is both black and white people to keep this kind of treatment from happening. It s really sad but everywhere that just hires black people this is the treatment you get!

Do not make the mistake of going to this Popeyes nor the one on 365. The food is absolutely nasty. I always get cold dry chicken with old sides. The service at both locations seems as the employees hate being at work. The drive through is a time warp that will have you trapped for 35 minutes more depending on the crews attitude I have yet to conclude why it take a half hour for food to be processed that is sitting on a rack overflowing with chicken I do not know which store that great review was recommended but it was not from this area. You want fast good Popeyes chicken. Go to the Popeyes in Beaumont off of Phelan Blvd. Do not take heart to that fake review of how great everything was at that store not around this area.

The young staff were trying to do their best but the manager Shannon needs to train the staff better the rice was still hard, couldnt eat it. We didnt get forks or knapkins. No communication, care or concern. Ive been here before and the staff has been, at least, cordial half of the time. I understand the stresses of the job. But you still have to do the job adequately. I waited at least 5 minutes without a single word from any of the 5 staffers I saw. The cashier finally came along and pulled the order to start getting it together. I asked how long the preparation would take---to know if I should take a seat or continue standing. Because...no communication. The cashier said I could sit and she would bring the items to me. When she handed me the bag, I knew to this was not all, even though she confirmed (when I asked) that was all. I reviewed the receipt and saw items that were not in the bag! Like 4 chicken sandwiches!!! Anywho, I reviewed the receipt and tried to confirm I had everything. I asked again if that was all. SHE, AGAIN, SAID THAT WAS EVERYTHING. So, I deliver the food only to get a text from the customer stating that NONE of the sauces (for nuggets) were there! I own that error because I got wrapped up chatting with the customer about other sauces they wanted, that werent on the order, so I totally spaced on verifying they gave me the initial requested sauces. After finishing another order, I went back to Popeyes for the items. Truthfully, I was confused by the receipt layout and it doesnt read the same way it does in the app. The manager (I think) corrected me because I thought that their chix sandwich meals had 2 sides, but each meal only had 1 side. So, it was the large (family) sides --3 of them-- and the sauces missing. Here I am taking time away from making money (losing money because my mentality is that I have to make it right, if possible) because it wasnt confirmed that all items the customer paid for was provided. Multiple errors of missing items, there was never a sorry we missed that. Just indifference. Thats frustrating.
