Update Mens restroom is atrocious!!! Seems its never been clean. Food and service are great. Place is a bit run down. And the restrooms could be a bit cleaner. All in all, my family and I enjoy coming to eat here.

This location should be shut down by the health department. I cant believe how run down this place has gotten. Everything we purchased for take out was gross. Even the dessert. How do you mess up desert? The gallon of sweet tea was the only thing fresh. $60 dollars down the drain. Ive been sick since midday, so has my daughter, and we only had a few bites. Word to the wise, just pass.

Customer service was terrible. Went to drive thru waited 5 minutes no one answered. Went on inside stated that it must not be working. A very rude and argument sever said it was working. They need to improve their attitudes. Not going back again!!!! Got my food and left.

Picked up 1 lb of turkey breast and 2 qts of dressing. Dressing was decent, but the turkey breast?!? Slices of something supposed to be turkey breast is more likt it. It has the EXACT same taste, texture, slime factor and color of the gross school lunch turkey they serve in schools for the feasts.....in other words a big, overly processed, slimy, bland glob of pressed stuff they can barely call meat. Even covering it with cranberry sauce didnt help. Such a huge disappointment. And for $12 for a pound....Never again.

I recently placed a call-in order at Lubys, and my initial interaction with the person who answered the phone left something to be desired. They seemed a bit short and, dare I say, somewhat rude. Nonetheless, I proceeded to place my order and provided my name for reference. Upon arrival at the restaurant, we arrived around the 15-minute mark as indicated for our order to be ready. As we pulled up to the drive-thru speaker, there was a slight communication hiccup, possibly due to the age of the equipment. However, things took a positive turn when we were instructed to pull up to the window. At the window, we were immediately greeted with a friendly smile and a kind, welcoming voice. The staff member swiftly and efficiently bagged our plates, took our payment, and all the while maintained a lovely tone. She wished us a wonderful day and expressed her hope that we would enjoy our meal. I must admit that my first impressions, based on the initial phone interaction, had me considering choosing a different location for future orders. However, the warm and gracious greeting, coupled with the delightful mannerisms displayed during the pickup, completely changed my perspective. Its instances like this that remind me that excellent customer service can make all the difference in the world

The mac & cheese is either dry or soupy. If you order a Luann with Liver, u get about 2 lil small pieces. They place liquid veggies in the container with the meat, and the meat becomes soggy. The cornbread is gummy, and rolls are either uncooked or extremely hard. The desserts are cut into the size of a Twinkie cupcake. This Luby is as about as bad as the Beaumont location.

The food is very home cooking tasting, lots of choices, and very friendly staff. Its a bit hard to find when you arent coming off the highway, but other than that it was a very pleasant eating experience. Went for Thanksgiving and was sadly disappointed. Turkey was a pressed roll and dressing was not oven baked. Dressing was ladled up and poured over turkey and a tbsp of cranberry sauce in a to go container. Staff was great and very pleasant.

The food was well prepared. Great presentation. The order and employee interaction was smooth & correct. The chicken fried steak was cooked well & not too much chicken fried of the steak, if you understand me? The sides were green beans & small potatoes with a roll.
