Nicholas O was amazing! I rarely review unless I think the service and experience is worth it. We had only planned to get a drink and his passion for the restaurant and what they had to offer convinced us to stay for dinner. We had the Pollo Moderno and it was AMAZING! For drinks, don t pass on the skinny mambo taxi. 10/10 recommend.

We visited Mi Cocina on 09/14 around 7:00pm. We were immediately sat and didn t wait any time for chips and salsaz the chips were fresh and hot and the salsa was perfectly made. Our waiter, Eric, immediately greeted us. He made great conversation, made us feel welcome, took our order. Our food was out in a timely manner and was fresh and hot. We frequently visit this location and tonight was by far the best customer service we have ever experienced. Eric was absolutely amazing, attentive, courteous. I hope someone acknowledges him as finding great customer service these days can be rare. Thank you Eric for making our night great.

Quality of food was not there. Lacked presentation.. the beef fajitas looked like sliced gyro meat. Taco Cabana had better fajitas. Very disappointed. I choose the expensive margarita and it looked like a lemonade. No presentation. This is not an upscale restaurant.

I visited Mi Cocina tonight with my friend and had a great time. The staff, e.g., from the hostess to our server, Jazmin, was excellent! Our server was so great that we had to advise the manager of how proud we were of the service. It was apparent that Jazmin was a direct reflection of the management. After speaking with Cinthia for less than a minute, I was convinced that because of the tutelage of Cinthia, the entire staff was clicking on all cylinders. What a great environment and staff this restaurant is! I will visit again soon!

We visited this place as a family dinner and it was the best decision, the margaritas were A1 quality, the starter dishes and the main dishes were all a carnival of flavors, I have to highlight the brisket tacos, the white cheese, the beans refried food, fajitas and desserts were a closing that I really didnt know would be so special, fortunately the choice was the best and also the attention was first class from Andrea, thank you, we will definitely return and from now on we are candidates for the wedding anniversary dinner 11/30....

Stopped by last week with a few friends and I had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious & the drinks were even better! Our server was Nicholas and he did a phenomenal job, he suggested some wonderful items for our group and was always attentive to our table. We had an overall great experience at this restaurant, with plenty of options to choose from on the menu. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous. Their chips are some of the best we ve ever tasted, and they kept bringing out more, even giving us some to take home. The food is reasonably priced, and the servers are very friendly and helpful. Not to mention, the food came out very quickly. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. We will definitely be going there again!

The prices are pretty reasonable here considering how upscale this place is. However, if you order the chalupas, they are a bit strange. The description on the menu indicates refried beans, queso, and guacamole. However, when you get the three chalupas, you get one with ONLY guacamole, another one with ONLY queso, and a third one with ONLY refried beans (and some lettuce).

I normally go to MI Cocina for a mambo taxi and an appetizer. We had full on dinner and sat in the dining room this time. While I server was obviously new to waiting tables she had a great attitude and was attentive. I dont know if these guys changed some recipes or something? I normally think the food is ok at best. Service was terrible from the moment someone finally approached the table. I met up with a friend there. The server ignored me for the first 8 minutes I was there until my friend arrived. Then she wanted to walk up and ask what I wanted to drink while I was hugging my friend. I asked her for a drink menu, and she brought only one for me. I guess my friend can figure out what she wanted to drink on her own. Once we were able to wave down the server again, she couldnt even stay at the table long enough to get our order. I ordered my drink, and then my friend proceeded to order her drink. She couldnt even get the words out of her mouth before the server was already walking away from the table. We had to get her attention again. Excuse me maam, were not done. She comes back, and my friend is finally able to order a beer with a glass. So ladies and gentlemen I am here to tell you right now, if you order a beer with a glass, you will be pouring it in a candle holder we didnt even end up eating here. Which was really disappointing because I only came for the food. I had my margarita, and my friend had her Negra Modelo in a candle holder, with a lime. After shift change 2 hours later, we closed the tab and ate somewhere else down the street.

10/10. Armando made my Auntie s birthday rememberable. And the food was great. I had the tamale dinner double rice it was so amazing. & I got my son beef quesadillas they were so good. Me and my beautiful wife had our wedding reception here and the manager Cynthia, accommodated our party of 35 with absolute perfect service. Servers didn t seem to be overwhelmed to our large group, still were very attentive and quick to everything. Cynthia made everything work out. Will recommend this location to anyone looking for great service and food!

I really enjoyed my early dinner with Ixtchel! It was mine and my husbands first time eating out with our baby and she did a fantastic job of keeping things out of reach of her hands when we were holding her. She recommended great drinks to enjoy as it was also my first time drinking since having a baby. Everyone get the drink Dilema if you want a little bit of everything like me. I was worried about being out with an infant but Ixtchel was so friendly with her I got to enjoy my meal even more. Will be asking for her when we go back!
