Good drinks if you can find a place at the small bar. This place was kind of crazy and chaotic with people running in for takeout orders and the long line people have to stand in. It was kind of annoying after a while, if you re in the mood to relax it may not be the place for you. I want to try more of the food bc they are so busy the food must be good.

It is a good place to eat Mexican-style ceviche. The fried fish and the cocktail taste good. If you are looking for shrimp soup, they also make it very good. The place is spacious. If you dont like spicy food, ask if the food you order is spicy. You can ask them not to put spicy food if you dont like chili.

Have been sick all week, so I was craving soup. Was also craving spicy seafood, but didn t want to do a whole boil. I found this spot on Yelp. Ordered the seafood caldo (shrimp, fish, & veggies) and a side of corn and potatoes (with spicy seasoning) . It got the job done!! Very tasty and satisfying. 16 of us ordered almost $300 of food and drinks. We had to ask for plates and got our own silverware from the cashier. Happy hour from 4-6pm and we didnt receive happy discounts for beer and oysters. Told the cashier about the happy and she didnt care to give us the happy discount. So we didnt care to tip. My golfing friends come here often. But we Im not coming back here again.

The food is okay and the drinks are god however the customer service and flow of the restaurant need improvement. It s more of a local spot and not one I would advise travelers. I wanted at the bar to be served for about 10 mins. Someone told me I could order from the bar. I arrived during happy hour and wanted to try the oysters. I am extremely disappointed on how the service and food quality has gone down at this location. We have been going to this location as a family for a while but on this occasion we ordered food to go and the service we got was extremely disappointing. The food we got was extremely dry and small portioned. To top it off when we called the location to explained that our order wasn t correct they purposely mocked us on the phone and asked us to make the drive to get a replacement when we live far. Then the person on the phone asked to send her pictures of the food in a form of disbelief. When we did she mockingly said the order was correct and even mentioned good thing you didn t drive up here . Extremely unprofessional.

Call ahead and ask if they have fresh crawfish, choose your spice level, it gets messy! Only reason for one less star is difficulty ordering more drinks and food after your initial order. When wearing gloves and dealing with a messy meal, it would be awesome to have wait staff come around and ask if you need anything else, or more beverages. Most of the time you have to wave them down or catch them as they bring others food out, or go back up to the bar. Great place to take family or friends, inexpensive and lots of choices. They also make a great michelada w/ tajin. They play loud country music most all the time, also i believe it s Latino owned and most everyone speaks English and Spanish. Fun and upbeat atmosphere.

I found this place on accident. I got the fried catfish and oyster basket. It was outstanding. The catfish is real catfish, (not the fake stuff-swaii). It was delicious, hot, fresh, and tender. The tarter sauce and cocktail sauce taste homemade. I loved it all. Yea is made fresh. They have a bar and patio. It had the feel of being near the beach, not overdone franchise, but all hands on deck type of feel.

The coconut shrimp was amazing! The chicken strips were a little soggy, in my opinion, and the chicken fell out of the skin. Overall, it is a fantastic place for seafood! In the bathroom, it is all the way in the back and has only 1 stall, so it can be a little more difficult to go with a lot of kids. Parking: Parking is around the building and whatever door you come in has to be the door you exit. Unless you want to jump a gate.

Visited the Plano location today and had one of the worst experiences ever. We ordered the gumbo and the catfish. The gumbo was tomato soup with shrimp and sausage in it with no seasoning. The fish was basically fried water. We asked for a refund after one bite because we just couldn t stomach paying $40 for fried water and tomato juice. We were asked what was wrong with our order by the manager and we expressed our concerns and he told us that the food is popular. Ummm ok. After telling him we wanted a refund and that we would pay for our $3 drinks, he told us that we could never come back to the restaurant which was rude. After giving the cashier our receipts, she began to slam the tickets down on the counter. I asked her to explain the refund because it only should that she refunded us the drinks and she began to snatch the ticket out of my hand and turn and start talking to her manager. She then again slammed the ticket down on the counter. At that moment, we were just ready to leave. Never seen an establishment that gets upset and bans the customers for not liking the food. Food was horrible and customer service was worse. Will never return since Im banned lol.

Fish & Tails is like a seafood shack that I m used to seeing in the North Shore of Long Island back in New York, except replace pretentious white folks with friendly Texans and a lot more hispanic tias and their margaritas. Fish & Tails is like a gem in the heart of BBQ central Dallas, they offer no frills fresh off the grills seafood dishes and some fried dishes at a reasonable price. The vibes is always pretty chill, lots of families and coworkers hanging out after work grabbing a beer and sharing seafood platters and after you pay at the counter, they give you a number in which the staff will deliver the food to once you grab any open table. There are few dishes that are our favorites: Tilapia Trio (grilled tilapia and shrimp topped with crab and lemony cream sauce on top) and the seafood boil platter (crab legs, shrimp, sausage, corn and potatoes smothered in their cajun-like rub). Few other dishes I tried are just OK to be honest (calamari, oyster po boy). Honestly, you can t beat the price and the vibe. They have good lunch specials although I never made it to try it. Definitely worth a visit!
