We ve heard this one before but So we tried the Rugby House Pub based on the Fish & Chips reviews, but we ve heard about great Fish & Chips in DFW before. This place DELIVERS! Not only are the Fish& Chips great, but so are the starters Poutine is awesome (as a native Western New Yorker I can testify to this fact. The cowboy nachos come with what look like homemade potato chips. But the Fish is what we are raving about here! Crispy, light, not soggy in the least and the tartar sauce is very unique and delicious! Come here for the Fish & Chips you will NOT be disappointed! We will be back often

Good quality Guinness, not overcrowded, lots of parking spaces. Food was better than average. Unfortunately, they have a Union Jack up on the wall near the front door which is unacceptable if they are trying to be an authentic Irish bar. I wont be returning.

This is such a cool and chill atmosphere. If youre in the mood for a dimly lit and chill pade to grab some good pub food and cold drinks, this is the spot. The fish and chips are SOOOO good. The batter is not super thick and it is cooked to perfection. I am so glad I found this spot. This is going to be my local bar.

Best fish and chips I ve had since England! Chips are done the right way! Fish is flaky with the best flaky crust! Homemade Cole slaw that is addicting! Great selection of beers including Draft Guinness! Parking: Large parking lot. Kid-friendliness: Tons of booths far enough away from the bar area. Wheelchair accessibility: Complex strip mall right off of Preston. Lots to do in the area (Total Wine, Michael s, Golf shop).

Finally got a chance to check out this place since I ve been looking for an Irish pub that has good chicken tenders. And at long last I found one I really like with McSwiggins in 2nd place. The food is excellent with both the fries & the chicken tenders cooked very well. Service was very friendly and I also dig both the European style lamps & the 2 pinball machines in the front. I have no idea why it took this long to finally check this place out, but I am so get happy that I did since it s now in my top 10 most favorite restaurants I ve checked out here in Texas. Definitely recommend eating at this place. ^-^

No joke best bar food in DFW. Awesome beer selection that is constantly changing. Great service. I havent had a good food experience from a sports bar/pub in forever. Finally a place that is and should be proud of what they serve. Had bar food staples of nachos wings poutine and pretzels. All were far better then expected.

Best hidden gem in Plano/ Frisco! While the menu is excellent, we wait every week for the specials. If you can ever catch the seafood chowder or the steak salad you are in for the treat of your life. We had my finances 40th birthday there and it is a perfect venue for private parties as well!

Pretty sad about our trip. We were looking forward to having date night here and we were disappointed. While the bar atmosphere was awesome, loved the decor, the pub feel and the extensive tvs, the service was less than abysmal. I m imagining because we were younger or because we weren t regulars, we were pretty much completely ignored. After ordering our drinks, no one came up to us to ask us how we were doing or if we wanted to order food. We did want to order food, but after waiting for about 20 minutes with no one paying mind to us, we decided to take our business elsewhere. There was one large party, but we were one of two parties at the bar and plenty of downtime for the staff. The staff had their backs to us and walked by us several times without acknowledging us. I was even talking about bringing my parents here when they visited because they love a good English Pub Bar and the food. We ll give it another go but extremely disappointed in our experience.

If you are reading reviews to see if you should go .just go! The food is amazing, atmosphere is on point and the conversation is amazing. The bar is big enough that you can socialize if you want or be a loaner and enjoy some of the best food I have ever had. We went during a recent visit from Atlanta and I wish we had a neighborhood place like this! After getting dinner the first night, we went back the next day for brunch, and again on our last night in town. The staff is amazing and you couldn t find better owners, regulars, food or drinks. Again, just go now!

We have been coming here off and on for over 10 years. The food is exceptional for a pub with chef quality attention paid to the dishes. The real draw is the casual and welcoming atmosphere and the greeting we get from the owners and bartender. We have moved away from Plano but visit the Rugby House every time we are back in the area.

I think this place is highly underrated! The place has an amazing atmosphere, typical pub though. It s very chill and has booth and regular tables. It can seat small and large parties. It s on the smaller size though, and they don t take reservations. The food is really good, it was tasty and fresh, and service was prompt and attentive. They have a good selection of beers, and cocktails. If you want to watch a game and just enjoy some good company while being able to talk, this is the place!

I called in a somewhat last minute order for fish & chips. They answered right away and told me it would be ready quickly. When I arrived I was greeted and my ticket was ready for payment, but I decided to add a slice of key lime pie because reviews said it was good. Food was cooked to order and piping hot! Love that. The meal was delicious and hearty. Key lime pie was also delicious. Highly recommend!

I have been coming here for a while, at least 10 years. I d now consider myself a regular. I really do love this place. The people are great, the food is fantastic, the prices are reasonable, and the overall experience is always a good one. Not worth watching a game here. Sound quality is awful. Never seen a cheerful bartender here. I do not expect any bar tender to come talk to me and give all their attention ,thats not what i go to a bar for, but the general customer service is just bad. I have went there twice to see a barca game. Asked one of the bartenders to increase the volume to which he said he was too busy, did it a while later though.

Ive been here only once and this pub and already feel like a regular. You can never have too many Guinness, but I think I might had. We probably had too many buckets of fries apart from the lovely sandwiches and wings. On top of that, we enjoyed the LSU game. Id also like to thank for the outstanding service and cleanliness.

This is a great little hole in the wall type bar. Yet may be surprised at the amazing food selection. We try to order something different everytime and we have not been disappointed. The specials have all been top notch and the standards are always great. I like their beer selection and they have a full bar for any non beer drinkers. I cannot recommend this place enough.
