Buckhorn Park in Plano is a fantastic place with many playgrounds for kids, a beautiful running trail, and lovely landscaping. Its close to an elementary school, making it convenient for families. The park seamlessly fits into a charming neighborhood, making it an ideal spot for both recreation and community gatherings. Overall, Buckhorn Park is a wonderful destination for everyone to enjoy. Several playgrounds give kids choice and option where to play. Playground: Amazing play structure for big kids as well as littles. It s become my kids favorite easily. The big kid play structure is very very tall and my kids love how steep the slide is.

Great park for kids. There are at least 4, maybe 5, separate little play areas. There are also tall slides that are exciting enough to satisfy my 6.5 year old :)

Super fun park!! 3 different play area, a small one for toddlers to the bigger one with three stories for older kids. There is a basketball court and lots of picnic tables. Lots of unique equipment. There are no bathrooms and is right next to a school.

This WOULD be a nice park if the school hadnt completely taken it over. There are constantly whole grades of kids on this playground rather than the equipment provided for the school. Its frustrating because young kids from the neighborhood have to share with a hundred 5th graders to use anything. I wish the school kids would stay on the schools equipment and property

Nice neighborhood park in Central Plano. The creek runs along one side. Multiple playgrounds for the kids, separated by age/ability. There are also backdrops for softball/baseball practice, a huge field for soccer practice, and basketball court. Plenty of park benches along the trail that winds through and loops around the park. Covered pavilion away from the play grounds, plus picnic tables between 2 of the playgrounds. Overall a nice park.

My kids really enjoyed this park. They have small, medium and large playground equipment for kids of all sizes. Two of the playgrounds are shaded, along with several picnic tables. The largest playground does not have shade as its really tall. They could use a couple benches by the largest playground however there is a small shaded Pavillion nearby. The playground equipment was well maintained and modern. There is a large field to play in. No bathrooms. Parking was difficult. I never found a parking lot for the park and ended up parking on the street. The park is right by a school, so if you dont like large crowds, dont go when school lets out.

Great park! They have five different play areas that range from toddlers on up. Large open green space for kids baseball and soccer practice. It has has a double wide concrete walking path that loops around the park.

Nice park, was recently renovated. Basketball court, big toy, swings, walking trail, picnic area, grass field for soccer practice and 2 baseball backstops. Quite neighborhood. Park is clean and has a safe feeling to it.

2 backstops, no soccer goals, no bathrooms. Playground is nice. Softball/Baseball the grass is always too long, hard to practice there. Dirt infield would be better. Nice 1/3 mile track. There are coyotes in the area often from the creek to the west.
