Great place to stretch out and get some exercise while taking in the lake and surrounding area. The residents are friendly, and didnt mind me fishing and recording on my camera. Many stopped to ask what I was fishing for, and many had no clue there were fish in the lake to begin with. Most were surprised to see a lake monster residing in these waters but they are there waiting for anglers like myself in search of fresh water beasts. Dog-friendliness: All the dogs were on leashes and the owners were very respectful. Picnic area: Many places to sit and eat, or talk and enjoy nature sounds.

Great spot to fish! Lake has a variety of fish to catch. A buddy of mine caught a decent size Bass! All i could catch was Blue gills. Be ware of the Turtles! If you have line casted out with bait they will go for it! Careful not to hook one! Happy fishing

What a beautiful lake has nice big trees and beautiful grassy areas in a nice path to walk on if youre ever in the area I would suggest going to this park Playground: It was a very nice playground even though its not the biggest. My kids really enjoy it

Wow, how clean and nice this park is, Im absolutely amazed that all the streets in the park were so incredibly tidy and clean. All the benches were so clean and shiny, unbelievable. No graffiti and no trash in the park. Except at a bench saw that some people ate sunflower seeds and threw the shell of the sunflower on the ground, otherwise no litter, no cigarette butts in the park. Unfortunately it was very hot when I visited the park and it was a weekday morning so it was almost completely empty. But it is beautiful.

Wonderful multifaceted public property and park/ playground. This fun area falls at the intersection of a creek, a Greenway, walking/ bikings trails, local neighborhood activity, multiple schools and private neighborhoods. People from all walks converge here whether theyre passing thru a main Greenway vein or bringing neighborhood kids, fishing a favorite spot, watching the local wildlife, flying kites, having community lunches or other activities or going to and from school. Depending on the time of day, day of the week or the season, a slew of folks may be met or seen for very different purposes! Playground: Newer playground equipment for multi abilities, walkways in between for caregivers that like to do laps, shaded picnic areas and seating with beautiful water and greenery views with plenty of people watching in all directions! Parking at nearby school or street mostly. Be aware and courteous if how neighbors feel about certain areas of street parking and of people coming and going very near the streets. Picnic area: Picnic area is shaded and has a couple of tables. However they can be accessible to wildlife and are not under a covered area ( except by trees). Nice shade but bring table çloths or some way to wipe them off if you want to actually eat.

Great space for family with everything from a playground to cycling to fishing and more. This is a dog friendly park with water fountains that serve dogs fresh water (just dont forget your leashes & poop bags). The drinking fountain near the playground has the water bowl, a regular drinking fountain, and even a refreshing mister in the hotter months!

Came looking to fish for a little while. Lake was really nice and even caught a fish. Looked like it had bass, panfish, carp and more than likely catfish. Has a walking path all the way around it and a nice big playground for the kiddos. Will come back to this lake when I m back in town. Playground: Playground was very large with enough to keep a kiddo busy for a good while.

This is a beautiful park in Plano. You can enjoy sitting in benches and watching the ducks floating in water. I was amazed to see this view. I have visited this park one time but I like to visit again and again because of it s beautiful nature. There is a beautiful pedestrian bridge which is enhancing the aesthetics of this park. You can enjoy walking along the trail. I like this park very much. I think everybody should visit this park to see the breathtaking view. Playground: There is children playground. This is one of the best parks in Plano. The Chisholm trail goes through it theres a pretty big lake where you can paddle board or take a kayak and be in it and its 100% okay. You can find some wildlife Ive seen bobcats coyotes ducks and other water wildlife. There is a kids park with tons of slides.

Love the scenery. Love seeing the turtles, ducks, and geese along the shoreline. Like seeing people out walking and fishing. Its great seeing kids playing on the playground. Love this place and area. Neighborhoods surrounding the park. Very secure and well maintained. Great jogging trails or bike . Park benches are available for a place to rest or just to sit and reflect over the water and wildlife. Great areas for family get togethers and or company functions. I went to the Plano DMV but they did not allow any extra person so I was looking for a place nearby and I found this . Just 5 minutes away from DMV . So I took my toddler there and I was so amused by the beauty of the lake and park and there were some swings and slides for the kids too . I had a good time there instead of waiting in the car at DMV

My son and I had a BLAST fishing out here! It was dusk, overcast, a bit windy but there are AMPLE places to fish or set up for fun out here. Its always clean, very safe area with police noticable and neighbors who live in the area visible. Boone is intrusive or nosey but youll get a, hey howya doing?! Every now and again!
