Espresso Martini was divine, food was delicious (ordered the brisket and ground beef tacos). The atmosphere was lovely, we sat outside on a beautiful day and really enjoyed ourselves. Service was great (thank you Cesar!!) 2 entrees, appetizer, 2 cocktails and soda for $85? Sign me up. Definitely coming here again, very impressed.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Drinks were delicious and made well.. Service was friendly, patient, and very helpful. We enjoyed a girls night in the middle of the week. I arrived 20 min prior to our reservation and they still day me at our table while I waited for the test of my party. Every person ate every single bit of their dishes. Not a single take home box.

We had shrimp ceviche, ahi tuna nacho, braised pork entree and the brisket taco enchilada combination. My favorite was the ahi tuna nacho. It has rich flavor and nicely grilled fish. Shrimp ceviche was appetizing, but I feel like it was kind of boring. a lot of the tangy flavor but not much anything else. The braised pork was huge in portion. Not as tender as I thought but with the onion, mushroom, and the sauce, it was pretty tasty. The taco enchilada combination was definitely a letdown. The brisket taco was very dry, and I did not have the appetite to try the rest. I do like the experience and the atmosphere here, we had a booth and I was facing the door and I could see the fountain outside.

The first time I came here I was not impressed. I gave it another chance on the 23rd. Our waiter, Ricardo was so rude. Extremely rude! I asked that something be taken off of my daughter s tacos, he attempted to educate me about tomatillo sauce. He even went as far as getting a menu to show me that the sauce came with the taco! That didn t matter since I asked that it NOT be on the taco. Next, I ordered a desert since we were celebrating a birthday for our friend visiting from out of town. I asked since it was a birthday and I had seen others, does her dessert come with a song? he then responds with agitation and attitude, you re paying for it. As if that wasn t obvious. I will never recommend this place. Insult, after insult. Horrible service.

Ive here here now twice to get a certain chicken dish and both times it was unavailable! I even came pretty early one time. The server said they only make like 5 or 6 of that dish because its a pain to make. What the hell! Take it off your menu then! Thats like false advertising. Lol. Rogelios service was Horrible. He was very rude when asked about certain menu items, almost like it was a nuisance to him. I explained to him that it was our first time there, and he completely blew us off. He went to speak to his manager about our situation, and his manager didnt even bother coming to us to see what was going on despite looking right at us. The food presentation was alright. We were greeted by Fernando (General Manager) and promptly shown to our table. It was our first time dining here at this location after over five years. Food was still delicious, service was still attentive without being intrusive, and the traditional, classy ambiance and modern flair with the pops of color had the wow factor I remembered and so loved on our first visit. I love that they still serve the tortilla chips and trio of salsas/dipping sauces - it truly enhances the experience and is a perfect accompaniment to whatever entrée you choose. Andres was our knowledgeable and attentive server - he made several Menu suggestions, asked us if we had any questions, and gave us a few minutes before he took our order. Andres made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us occasionally during our meal. Started things off with two smooth and beautifully balanced Jalapiña cocktails (with Tajin on the rim). Amazing! Mom ordered the cremaqueso enchiladas with cilantro cream (no beans) and red rice. I ordered the Oaxaqueñas enchiladas with mole sauce (no beans) and white rice. We both loved our entrées and would certainly consider ordering these again on our next visit. The Mole had an earthy, somewhat and subtly smoky flavor which I loved. No complaints. Portions are ideal. Got too full to order dessert, so will save that for next time. We will certainly return and dine here as frequently as we can.

My work-mates brought me here for my birthday. I was given the choice of where to go and decided I would try somewhere I had never been. Here is my honest opinion; the food was okay, it could have been better. They waited for everyones food to be ready so that everyone would get their food at the same time. Which is an okay practice if you dont have everyone waiting for a long time. That was not the case with us. We waited a long time for our food, there were 7 of us. The part of the whole experience that left us stumped was our waiter. He was rude, he (what felt like) threw our waters on the table instead of placing them, he never smiled, became a ghost after we got our food. He was just not pleasant and quite frankly ruined ALL of our experiences with Mesero. I am not sure any of us will go back after today.. I had high hopes and unfortunately my entire dining party was disappointed.

The food at Mesero is okay it is a bit expensive for the food that they serve for 2 entrees and a kids dish we paid close to $100. I was able to also order the appetizer that contains shrimp wrapped with bacon it was well cooked on the top, but the bacon was not cooked at all from the bottom and some parts of the inside very disappointing.

This is my absolute favorite spot to hang with my husband for excellent food and amazing drinks. The service is top notch and theres a gorgeous enclosed patio that brings the outside in, but with NO BUGS, like the downtown location! Nothing can top their chicken, cremaqueso, mole, slaw or chips and salsa options. FYI If you like a smooth, burst of heat in your salsa, ask for the special one they dont put on your trio plate, I think its a habenero salsa! This has been my favorite location since moving up north 4 years ago, but my favorite Mexican restaurant for over 10 years, since I found the location which is now closed off 75/Knox/Henderson.

Super disappointing. It took two hours for our party of 6 because the waiter kept disappearing and wouldn t come back to check on our table. When we finally got our food it was cold and the chicken for the fajitas was woody and full of gristle. There were several mistakes that took way too long to correct. This was one of our favorite date night places so we took a group and regret it. It was an expensive meal and we left hungry. Sadly we will not be going back.

This was overpriced, okay TexMex. Looks like its doing well enough, lots of fans of the place. My review is my own experiences after at least 2 meals here because others chose to come here. The food wasnt bad, was overall mid. Nothing stood out as great. Had the Duo, a queso and quacamole appetizer with chips, good but nothing great. Asada tacos, again good but nothing great, you get 2 tacos with some beans and other stuff on the plate. Tried the asada fajitas too, pretty standard fare. The price point doesnt justify food thats okay.

My first time coming here and I could tell the atmosphere was more upscale and we were attended nicely and quickly. I ordered a chicken sandwich here because it sounded good and the chicken was cooked perfectly I was just disappointed by the small size of the sandwich it looked like a little mini slider. However, their enchiladas are huge in portion! They should definitely consider adjusting their portion sizes on some items. Oh great, another trendy legacy west restaurant for people with more money than sense. What could this overly contemporized form of purgatory...why is the salsa orange? Hey thats pretty good, oh my God, I cant stop this orange salsas primary ingredient is ambrosia. These fajitas are weird though, what trendy nonsense... oh, oh, I need to be alone with these fajitas. Upscale Mexican food. The restaurant is really nice, they were quite busy on a Saturday afternoon. Each person gets their own small cup/container of tortilla chips. We got 3 small dipping sauces to share, they did bring more on request. The brisket tacos (2 in an order with rice and beans) were very good, as were the enchiladas. Service was very good too. Prices are expensive, but that is true of everything at legacy west. Parking is a nightmare, we used the valet parking nearby.

Had my sisters birthday dinner there as we had a reservation(PS: Remember to always make a reservation to avoid the long wait.) It has a good ambiance, the food was nice but the only thing that threw us off was that our waitress disappeared and we had to wait for like an hour to place our order. She just kept offering us drinks so we had to find another waitress to help us. Other than that everything was okay.

my daughter made a reservation with her friends , it was her birthday so they decided to go to Mesero s , some waiter and waitress came to her table to sing happy birthday they gave my daughter a piece of tres leches cake with a candle , when the bill came they charged her for the piece of cake ???!!!? 11 dollars I believe ! I saw the bill and couldn t believe it ! I guess they needed the money ! never going back there again , very disappointing .

Went yesterday for a birthday dinner, for about 9 people. Our server Alejandro was very attentive even with a packed building. The drinks were refreshing and delicious (I had the Brandon and a Paloma). The Elote was rich and savory. I ordered the Oaxacaquenas, which had the most succulent chicken and flavorful tortilla which brought such a great texture. Topped with the best Mole Ive EVER had, just shy of homemade. Compliments to the chefs (Pedro and Lidia) and the Manager (Ivan). 10/10 Must Try

went here with a large group on a Saturday night. Service was great considering how busy it was and our large group. They brought me the wrong dish but it was fine and I was hungry so nbd. Everyone seemed to really like their drinks and the chips and salsas were delicious but my boyfriend and I thought our entrees were good but not great, especially for the price. The guacamole lacked salt imo and the queso was unusual but good. The ambience was great (although quite loud) but I d choose North Italia next door over Mesero every time, and I m a big Tex-Mex fan. Also the cincos leches cake was wayyy too sweet for my taste. Vegetarian options: they have a vegan enchilada offering with vegan cheese as well as a few different vegetarian options

Place looked nice and the food looked good but while waiting for a table we ordered a drink at the bar. The tap was $24 and we gave them $40. The tortilla chips was hard no taste or just one with a lot of salt. We ate Tacos and everyone got corn tacos server did ask what we preferred. We ordered queso and chips it took forever and then the server disappeared without taking our food order. Then when the food came was cold, the beef taco meat was so hard to chew. The place is very nice located but the food is not all that!

Great place for a business lunch or a family dinner. Recommend reservation as it can get crowded. Atmosphere is great though inside can get a bit loud and noisy due to close proximity of seating. Food in itself was fantastic and tacos were fresh and delicious. Good choice of drinks. Service could have been better for us. Waiter seems to have been tired and distracted. Certainly room for improvement there but overall a great place to grab a quick bite or a long dinner. Close to other options as well. Parking was challenging even with multiple parking decks close by Vegetarian options: They have multiple vegetarian options including Tacos
