If i could give negative stars i would to begin the customer service was awful, I ordered a hot fudge sundae and a oreo shake. There was a peanuts in the oreo shake as my finance who that was for is allergic to peanuts and had a allergic reaction due to this Very disappointed and veryyy angry

Have been a huge fan of Mayfield DQs for quite a while. Appreciate that they carry chocolate soft serve, unlike most of the DQs in Texas. Very disappointed in the use of styrofoam cups. Didn t think much of it the first time I noticed. Didn t remember them using styrofoam for blizzards, but it had been a while since my last visit, so maybe this wasn t a recent switch. This time, came with a chunk out of the top, hmm that s interesting. Set it down on the counter and then noticed a small leak coming from a spot with DQ tape on it That s a little more concerning. Rinsed the cup out to see what the inside looks like. Looks like some of the bottom corner of the cup has been shaved out. Pretty confident styrofoam was an extra topping in my blizzard. Not sure if they are blending the blizzard in the styrofoam cup, but I don t think it takes a rocket scientist to see that s not a great idea. Guess I ll have to pass on this DQ until they stop using such a questionable material for your health and the environment for their blizzards.

We ordered there and as I was trying to pay, I held out the cash for idk how long until he finally realized that I was paying with cash. I also ordered a medium blizzard and a small blizzard and the small was filled to the brim and the medium blizzard was filled halfway and when we finally got our food, we came back home and realized that our cheeseburger that we ordered came with no hamburger meat. Just bread and cheese. Cmon now. Not very swagtastic of them.

Ive been sad to watch Dairy Queen gradually slide into irrelevance, but the new Mayfield Dairy Queen locations have given me hope: newer, cleaner, nicely decorated, with consistently great personnel and service. Mayfield DQs are now my go-to ice cream shops. Parking: Small parking lot, but always enough spaces. Careful which space you choose, so you dont get blocked in by a long drive-in line

We have been here several times, and the place inside was super clean. One time, we went and ordered a blizzard, and the girl at the drive thru turned it over to show it was OK. A good portion fell out, and she just handed it to us and cleaned the counter off and handed our other items, and closed the window. So, its not a great service.

Diving from Houston to Killeen we decide to stop at our all time fave Dairy Queen. Tayra from UK took our order, and bc she was still in trainning Manager Julian from Colombia was just supervising that she was doing a good job. And she sure did! This place was super clean. Workers were super friendly. Let me tell you a secret (restroom was super clean and I dont know what they spray there but it smell soooo goooddd!! Over all it was a great experience. And I know where they from bc I always ask ppl where are they from lol. (Just to be friendly). Recommend it 100% and we definitely are coming back. We went through the drive through this evening, and I requested no bun. When I opened my meal, there was a cute little smiley face made with mustard on my burger! It made me smile. My meal was better than I expected, with lots of lettuce, onion, tomatoes and pickles along with my burger patties.

One of the best run DQ franchises in the nation (Ive been almost everywhere) burgers are not the best but the tacos are an inexpensive meal to add to and ice cream order. Love the chocolate soft serve. Service is always friendly, but watch you blizzard cups for holes cut from the blender and the drive thru workers gets confused occasionally.

Memories of my dad. My dad Horace Johnson loved his ice cream. Story Funny: I bought 2 weather gauges and placed one by each of our super plates. Hey dad, did you see what I put by your plate. Im posting this review as a temporary statement, as I have had absolutely wonderful experiences in the past. My son and I have Thursday evenings together and DQ is one of our regular spots. We hadnt visited in several weeks, so we made a point to head over and enjoy a good meal. Last night was a stark contrast to the usual exemplary service. From walking in the door, I could tell things have changed. Theres usually a greeting, bit not this time. No big deal, people do get busy. Placing our order seemed like we were a bother to the employee (Rosa?) Again, not horrible CS, but not the usual, either. My 14 year old heard two of the male employees in the kitchen area making comments about a womans appearance in the drive-thru and although I didnt hear the comment, I did remember hearing some loud laughter and seeing one tall, tattooed young man and another shorter guy involved. The order was correct, but the meat wasnt very well cooked, almost cold and the cheese was slightly slimy for lack of better description. My son wasnt very happy with the chicken strips, and they did appear to be over cooked. Other folks in the restaurant during our visit seemed to be dissatisfied with the visit as well. There was one lady in there working her tail off, a brunette, but I failed to see her name. She was in the kitchen area and was an absolute whirlwind, running orders out, apologizing to customers for a long wait and begging the two guys to help her get the orders correct and ready. I realize that its not easy to keep a full staff with the shallow labor pool these days and not everyone has a passion for what they do 100% of the time, but this visit was a definitive departure from what weve come to expect from this location. The three males we saw working looked disheveled and careless in the presence of customers, one having spent several minutes in the bathroom and returning directly to handling food, while another was emptying trash, and again, returning directly to handling food. Also, we saw the tattooed guy flat out ignore some people standing at the register, waiting to order. Im not trying to get anyone in trouble, just trying to show a customers perspective on whats been experienced in the past, compared to a very recent experience. Hopefully the employees can be reminded that theyre ALL part of the customer experience and the bar had been set high in previous visits. Well definitely keep DQ on our list of favorites and hope that future evenings return to the Mayfield standards we love.

I went to this Dairy Queen with my friends as it was o e of the only places open at that time. Well the guy taking the order at the register was not listening to the people who he was waiting on. I ordered chicken strips and fries which were cold, and a brownie and Oreo cupfection. When I got my desert it was a brownie and Oreo blizzard. The blizzard was more expensive than the desert that I ordered(by .50 cents) but still more. If he would have just listened I wouldn t have written corporate on the 13th about this issue, and have yet to hear back as they were forwarding it to the store that it happened at. I will not be returning to this store. Unless you get better trained people to work there.

Iced tea is good. A nice dark color, pleasant taste. It has a slight bitter tannin taste that I enjoy. Its fresh brewed. The containers are labeled Community Tea. Ive found Mayfield Dairy Queens to be good stops for iced tea. Large cups, good ice, great tea. I like it better than the Whataburger next door.

This is our go-to DQ. We stop here ALL the time, at least once a week, and we always have a terrific experience whether we dine in or hit the drive-thru. The staff here is spectacular! They are super friendly, accommodating, and so helpful when the kiddos are along. Our orders are always spot-on and perfect from frozen treats to burgers, fries, and everything else weve tried. I love their Blizzards! Nothing is ever forgotten going through the drive-thru, which I appreciate so much. The establishment is very clean and you never have to wait long for your order. When you want DQ, this is the location to stop in for some yummy treats and a meal. I highly recommend! Parking: There is penty of free parking in their lot. Kid-friendliness: The staff is great with the kiddos and it is a great place to bring the kids.

I ordered 4 piece steak finger basket with cream gravy, fries & texas toast. Served fairly quickly. However, I experienced nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, and weakness within 1.45 hrs after consuming. All signs of eating contaminated food. The Beltbuster burger was very excellent. Fries were VERY stale!! The fountain drinks were down because the CO² was down. Fine. And was offered alternatives of water, tea, shake or blizzard. GREAT! Asked if I get a chocolate shake if I get charged extra for the combo, and told it will be $2.20 extra. REALLY??? So I settled for a tea with the combo, which wasnt very good. Very disappointed in a very nice place.

Service at drive thru was quick and friendly. My cherry blast was delicious. My only complaint is that the DQ app didnt let me order, but that may have been the result of poor cellular. 10/18/2022 Update: I dont think I can reply, so Ill answer here. Yes, I was using the Texas DQ application. I have used it previously and was able to use it afterward, but on the occasion I referenced, it was stuck at the choose location and would not let me start an order. Not a big deal, I just missed getting credit for the visit.
