As a Korean, I m always craving something authentic. When it comes to Pocha (which refers to street bars in Korea), I expect not mediocre but amazing dishes. To be honest, all we had exceeded our expectations. We ordered the Rose spicy rice cake combo, Jokbal, fried chicken gizzards, and spicy chicken with mozzarella corn cheese. The rice cake combo was not too spicy but still had a nice kick, and the combination with fries was exactly what I would expect from a Pocha in Korea. The Jokbal was incredibly tender and had a subtle touch of herbs; my wife said it was herfavorite. And the fried chicken gizzards! I had been searching for this dish for so long that I would have been happy even if it wasnt that good, but it blew my mind! They were super crispy and savory! Last but not least, the highlight was the spicy chicken with mozzarella corn cheese. The spicy chicken blended perfectly with the cheese, which was beautifully torched in a little fire show. Even my friend, who can t handle spiciness, enjoyed it! The corn added a delightful sweetness and texture. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for decent Korean food and great vibes.

UPDATE: Food is really good, the service has been consistent but the restrooms are horrendous. Wanted to wash my hands before eating and I felt dirtier leaving the restroom than when I went in. Please clean your restrooms. I called ahead and received cold wings and no sauce even though I arrived when they said my food would be ready. Not fresh at all.

This place is truly amazing. Its a great hole-in-the wall located in Frisco that never misses. The staff is always very attentive and service is stellar. My boyfriend and I just came here on a tangent, since it s super close by to us and we didn t feel like driving to Carrollton. We just wanted some late night bites and a couple drinks. Kurt was our server and he was super sweet, giving awesome recommendations on the menu, what we should try and assisted in the awesome Presentation for our items. We had the spicy dumplings, spicy chicken and hand balls. We also had the halla drink package and it was amazing. We found our new spot and will be back! Oh my gosh we just found the best place for Korean chicken! It was crispy and full of flavor!! We went there at like 9pm and the food was newly cooked! I ordered Budae Jjigae (To-go) and two servings of rice. When I asked why there was so little rice, one of the staff members said that this was the right amount and made the customer feel embarrassed. For Budae Jjigae, they put in half a piece of spam, a few sausages, a few slices of bacon, ramen noodles, and a few slices of tempura (oden), and charge the price as they are received.... Thats the case for Budae Jjigae, but they also give rice separately and shamelessly claim that it is the right amount. So I have nothing to say. Ive been here 3 times this week to sell (1 visit, 2 submissions), and this is how they treat their customers. I tried not to post it in the review if possible, but I got angry while looking at the food. I was told that the amount of rice was the right amount, so I had a scale at home and measured it, and it turned out that the two were different. How are 15.5g and 14.0g the same? 15.5g is too little... I tried to sell it because it was close to my house, but if I do business like this, the few customers I have will lose... I hope you start by properly training your employees. I ordered two rice with budaejjigae To-go, but when I asked why there was so little rice in it, an employee said this was the right amount and made customers embarrassed. Sausage stew is also cut into half spam, a few cowbirds, a few bacon pieces, ramen noodles, and a few dempura (fish cake) and the price is sometimes received.... Excellent place for Chimaek or simply chicken and lager! The boneless ones with Seoul hot hits the spot. Ask for their spicy ketchup which is yum. Tried the new Nachos with Kimchi queso....what an interesting concoction!! Kudos to them for trying and doing this with aplomb. Easily a good replacement for the usual fries. This is a Korean bar with some excellent food and drink options. They have 6-7 beers on draft including Blue Moon, Shiner and a couple of local breweries. They also have a variety of Korean beers. What a fun restaurant, great music, and great vibe. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated, and drink orders delivered post haste. I was unfamiliar with half the menu so I ventured into new territory. We had the spicy rice cake sampler containing fish cake, fried seaweed, noodles, cabbage, and of course rice cakes in a savory sweet hot sauce. We also had the cheesy flake chicken wings which were fried and dusted with cheese, salt, and sugar. The service was very attentive but not overly so. This was such a delightful diningexperience. Loved the cute ambience, service was good, food was good and prices were decent. We ordered some whiskey and beer for drinks and for food we got the fried boneless chicken and army base soup. The soup was good but didnt come with rice so we had to order/buy some on the side. The chicken was nice and crispy but also juicy on the inside. We got the original and cheese flavor. There were booths on the side that had their own private little stalls and it looked nice for smaller parties and dates. The only flaw of this place was the seating. We had 7 in our party and we sat at a long booth. It was great until we had to go to the restroom and the long booths were uncomfortable to get up from if you were seated on the inside. Overall I would definitely come back and loved the experience. There was plenty of parking which was nice. If you want to go somewhere Korean but arent close to the Carrollton Ktown area and need a place up northeast well then this is your spot! Recommend!!

Ordered carry out around 9 pm. I called first to confirm what time the kitchen closes and the phone service was great - provided sufficient information in a professional manner. When we arrived, a menu was provided and the host advised us to take our time and directed us to one of the booths. They even came to check in and answer questions. Food wait wasnt bad. Everything was packaged well for our travel back to the hotel. Food itself was alright. We got onion rings and sweet potato fries - nothing too fancy to share. Your average sides. For wings, we did traditional style with Seoul Hot and the BBQ Garlic. Great flavors however I expected a little more crunch from the wings themselves. I got a similar vibe to Wingstop. This place is everything youre looking for from a korean chicken resturant. Insanely delicious food, great service, and very reasonable price to portion size. The city Im visiting from, Raleigh, NC has a lot of amazing kbbq spots, but this is easily in my top 3! If I ever return to Frisco, Ill come back here

I love this place! The food was fantastic! The service was fabulous and the portions are huge. We had the Souel Hot Boneless wings, fries, and pork ribs. Plus, I had Soju for the first time. It is like Korean vodka only no burn and super smooth. I cant wait to come back. I didnt take photos until after we started eating so you cant see the true portion sizes.

The chicken wasnt bad, and the flavor was actually pretty good. But the breading on the chicken was just too much. It felt like I was eating more breading than actual chicken. They had pens were you could write your name (or draw) on the wall, which was pretty cool. We also ordered a kimchi pancake thing, and it... just wasnt good at all. Service was great, always fast. The music however, was a tad loud. I like to converse with my fellow diners, not have club-level music blasting in the background! Parking: Parking was easy. Kid-friendliness: I think the wall drawing would be enjoyed by children.

This restaurant was wonderful. Definitely some of the best chicken we have had, the flavors popped! The wait staff was so nice and helpful in guiding our food selection and attentive to our needs. Atmosphere energetic and we lived the cozy booths. We ordered the Seoul hot and cheesy flake chicken bombs, kimchi pancake and cheesy flake fish cake. We went here tonight on a whim. We ordered the Seoul chicken, plain fried chicken, BBQ soy garlic chicken, Cajun bucket , and the army stew. It was amazing. Nothing was overly spicy. The service was quick. Our waiter was super nice. The music was good, my daughter loved it (k-pop). The atmosphere was great. While we were waiting for our food we decided to get drinks and the berry mule was really good but the mango drink with the mango popsicle was on point. We will definitely be back. Thanks Mighty Chick for the amazing meal.

Oh the subid rib is like firework on my tongue. It was melting and the sauce was great. Definitely coming back to try the chicken. Lol I wanted to try the chicken but ended up trying other foods. If you have baby or young child visit around 5:30~6:30pm it is like bar. Babies might not like the mood. Tips: There is no side dishes for the subid rib like Kimchi and other stuffs.
