Today, four adults (two women and two men) and four children (two of whom are four years old and one each of six and eight years old) came to eat Korean barbecue. We ordered a large beef combination and a large pork combination, but I am still hungry, my husband is hungry, and the kids had come home and ate again. The large combination menu was for four people, so we ordered two, but even though we shared it with the kids, I am still hungry... I am not even moderately full, I am really hungry... The funny thing was that when we ordered meat, the server said the portion would be very large. The reason we didnt order more food was because we were disappointed in the quantity and quality, and the server, a middle-aged Korean woman with glasses, was unfriendly. At first, we sat at a large table with two grills, but they only set up one grill, so we asked them to give us one more, and she said, Are you guys going to use two? She said like this with sullen expression.. I was dumbfounded because I thought they were really trying to grill meat with just one piece. How can they feed eight people with just one grill? It was absurd. And when my husband ordered two large combination, the lady tried to dissuade him, saying it would be a lot of food. we ordered two generous combinations and tried to order more to eat meat generously enough, but she tried to stop him several times, saying it would be too much. It was a bit strange that the server kept saying it was too much even though we said as we ordered it because kids ate a lot. Its not that Im ordering little, Im ordering a lot. So if theres any left over, shouldnt I just take it away? Also, I asked if I could bring a stroller because I brought my 5 months baby to eat and I thought it would be uncomfortable eating with baby. The lady muttered that the fat would splatter and told me to bring it and she looked upset. I thought If I hold the baby, more fat would splatter on the baby. I dont know what she was talking about. I wonder if she just doesnt like us or doesnt want to work. We were thinking of going to a AYCE, but we came to this restaurant because people said the quality of meat is good, but I am not sure if it was that good and the portions were really very small. If the owner does business like this, I think he(or she) will get rich quickly. We ordered a bottle of makgeolli and 20% tip was automatically added, so the bill came out to about $350. We usually go to a Brazilian steakhouse. I think it would be better to pay a little more and go churrasco and have a delicious and filling meal. The side dishes werent very tasty, the steamed egg cooked on the side of grill wasnt seasoned properly, and the corn cheese had no cheese and it was really bad. I ve never seen like this. My friends family said they wanted to eat Korean barbecue, so I went with them, but I felt sorry. As a fellow Korean, I dont want to come here again.

Awesome place to fully enjoy Korean-style BBQ. Price can easily average between 30-50 per person, but compare to a steak dinner it is well worth it. It is a wonderful experience. Heck, even a vegan might be tempted to try.

Our first Korean BBQ experience. We really enjoyed it. Our waiter Tyler was awesome. In fact all the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We ordered the beef and pork combination for 4. It was so delicious. We will definitely return. Thanks for a great weekend experience.

Been here many times. Always had a good time. I have always had beef combination. I liked that the server cooks the food so we could enjoy the side dishes and soup. Only complaint is that I wish they have more liquor options. Soju is just not strong enough for me. Tried small intestines for the first time today. I would not recommended it. Took too long to cook and not having enough flavor.

The meat quality here is great. Their seasoning is light. And the pork jowl is thick and fatty. The only thing we think could improve, is the sides. It s personal preference of course. But the kimchi is not as crisp, juicy, or flavorful as most others we ve had. Recommended dishes

Ari is my favorite Korean BBQ restaurant in DFW. The quality of the meats is fresh and high-quality. Even though its packed every time I go, the servers do stop by quite often to help cook the meat, replenish our drinks and sides, or just check up on us. On my previous visit, we had a party of 6. We planned to order the Large Beef Combination for 4 people plus a couple other dishes, but our waiter said just the combo should be enough. Really appreciate her honesty, as it ended up being just the perfect size for us. We especially loved the corn cheese that is cooked around the edge of the grill.

Such a disappointing experience, I come here at least 3 times a months and receive great service. Today, I was actively avoided, watching my server go back to the same 2 tables multiple times and finally decided to check in, only to not notice that the meat on the grill was burnt and we still didn t get rice. Upon this, we informed him we didn t want the rest of the order and just wanted to tab out. He said okay then disappeared for another 15 minutes only to come back and start cooking the meat he just acknowledged we didn t want. Then tells us we have a no return policy? Again this was after acknowledging me saying I will just pay for the first meat that we didn t even want to eat because it was beyond cooked. Now having paid $70 for burnt meat that wasn t edible and beyond lackluster service. Sad to say I will never come back after the worst experience ever :)

I came here with my girlfriend on a Friday afternoon shortly after they opened. It wasnt busy yet, but by the time we left the whole place was filled with people. We got the medium beef and pork combination. The menu says its food for 3 people, but my girlfriend and I were able to manage it with ease. The beef and pork combination came with brisket, marinated prime rib finger meat, pork belly, and pork jowl. The quality of the meat was good and definitely better than most AYCE kbbq places in the area. Im especially a big fan of their method of ventilation and for the first time I actually left a Korean bbq place without smelling like meat and oil. It was a great experience and the waiting staff would rotate through and help you cook the food. Everyone was very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place.

The meat wasn t as tender and delicious as the location in Carrollton. I ordered the combo of pork and beef and the beef just wasn t very good. Very chewy. The kimchi soup was so salty that I couldn t take a second sip. My stomach is pretty good when it comes to all sorts of food but it did not settle well that day, about an hour after I was done eating. It was actually very disappointing to say the least. Maybe it was just an off day but I would definitely go back to only the Carrollton location.

Beware of these cheaters. They took our 70 dollars and rushed us the whole time. The waiter would just disappear on us so we did not get the benefit of our bargain. We hardly got a chance to refill on the meats. Also I asked for a refill on the sides and the guy said hed be right back and disappeared on us. We are Plano residents and have been to a few Korean BBQ places. It was our first time to Ari and we live rather close. We were 2 adults + one child. We ordered the medium beef combo. Oh boy was it good! The meat was of high quality and juicy! Absolutely delicious! The service was top notch and fast. Several staff members came to our table and attended to our grilling even though the restaurant was very busy. Everyone did an amazing job and our waitress was very friendly and attentive. What a delightful surprise this place is. Unique cooking style. Staff running from place to place to make sure everyone is happy. Lots of quality beef and endless side sauces and dips. Its not cheap but well worth the experience if not visited often. We will definitely be going back in a couple of months. Vegetarian options: There were options for veggies. The amount of food you get is not close to being worth the price. It tasted fine, but it is no better than other similar restaurants that charge significantly less. The entire place was very smoky by the time we left and I was coughing a bit. Not dangerous, but certainly annoying. perhaps better ventilation is required. The service was good. They helped us grill the meager portions and were attentive. My party also got the small intestine, but it was noticeably lower quality than our previous restaurant. We will not be ordering that particular dish from this place again.

Great all around. This was our first experience with Korean BBQ. They explained the menu and what each food was. They came around to cook each part as we were ready. It is a bit pricey...$75 for 2 people.

This Korean BBQ restaurant stands on a totally different level of service compared to other Korean BBQ restaurants. The servers know how to best cook each different type of meat. With special tools and techniques they cook the meat perfectly for us. See how they cooked the pork belly meat for us in the pictures I attached so all sides of the fatty meat are golden crispy and aromatic! The food is great, the service is wonderful, the price is reasonable! I wish I can give this restaurant 10 stars!

Full service Korean BBQ ! Great ventilation! No smell! Enjoyed the dinner so much. We ordered the beef and pork combination. Forgot to take photos of food. But I will update next time when I go back

We came here with friends from the area. We had a party of 4 on a Saturday night. We arrived at 7:20 and we were seated a little after 8pm. We sat on the outside patio while we waited. It wasn t too hot. The corn was already on the griddle when we got our table. Since it was our first time there, we opted for the beef and pork combo meal for 4. The waitstaff was efficient. The bon chon came out quickly. I was a little disappointed in the lack of variety. They had kimchi, cucumbers, and jalapeños- all with the same flavoring and spices. Not much more than that besides the corn and egg that were on the griddle. I didn t know that you needed to eat that quickly as the bottom would start to burn. The meets were good. I preferred the pork more than the beef. The staff stands and grills the meets for you and there is a pull down vent above each grill. You still need to shower as soon as you arrive home though as your clothes and hair still soak up all the cooking aromas. All in all, it was good and we had a nice experience.

probably my worst experience here because we were barely attended and had to ask multiple times for one thing and I ve been here multiple times and they typically put the cooked meat on the rack but they completely forgot to attend to it and half of the food ended up burnt.

We finally had a chance today to try this place out and the food was really good! My husband and I travel a lot all over the place to try different restaurants. We ve tried couple Korean BBQ places here in Dallas and this is definitely one of our new favorite spot. Staff our friendly, all the sides come with meat are tasty. We had some error with the bill at the end but it got resolve right away so no biggie. The two person combo we ve order is more not enough for 2 but we ve managed to finish everything because it was sooo good! We re definitely recommend this place.

Used to visit this place routinely like once a month or so, meat quality used to be top notch which justify the price tag for me. Havent been here for a while and came back today very disappointed. Their flagship meat short ribs remian the same quality which is nice, but thin sliced brisket and beef tongue are completely different quality when compared to the past, they are dry, thick and stiff. Cant speak for other menu items because I always order those three mentioned above everytime I visit. Service quality went down to drainage as well, everyone is in a rush, do not expect to get your meat cooked perfectly, or even cooked properly. It is not a surprise because I notice the subtle change everytime I visit, they get popular and busy all the time, so everything become fast paced nowadays. I could go on and on about what went wrong with this revist like the dipping sauce taste is completely off(the one with green pepper and onion), the soup came way too early to the table only lukewarm and by the time meat is served it is completely cold, they wont bring barley tea but tap water instead unless you ask (new customer wont even know it is an options and tap water taste terrible). Despite all the negative however, when I gave my feedback to the manager he tried everything he could to improve our experience, he cooked the meat himself with a different batch, which did improve taste but it is just not the same meat they used to carry. And not everybody get this kind of service, I complained so he reacted. I really appreciate the effort but meat quality is not something manager have control with. Maybe this is just a outlier, I will give it another try sometime, but if not I sincerely hope Ari can acknowledge this and bring back the Ari we used to love.
