Great service and great food. The house salad and dressing is amazing and the Rigatoni Vodka is wonderful. My wife and kids loved their meals too. We dont usually eat at a restaurant more than once when we are visiting an area, but we are definitely going to visit Romas again when were in Plano. Highly recommend.

I ordered Romas through Doordash, and unfortunately my Doordasher had stolen my order. Romas noticed and immediately called me, asking if i had received my food which i said no, and they immediately went into action to help my order. WHY IS THIS PLACE NOT THE BUSIEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN PLANO?? We have lived in Plano for 15 years, and been to all of the restaurants around. We tried this place tonight and it ABSOLUTELY will now be on our list of regular places to visit! Come give this place a try, and you will not be disappointed! It changed ownership 6 months ago, but did not change the name. Everything was delicious, pasta, and deserts (we will try pizza next time, and I will update). There are a number of TVs, and wine! We walked in with a party of 8 an hour before closing time and they greeted us with smiles and were quick to seat us. Our server was helpful when ordering since it was our first time. The food was the best Italian food I ve had in a long time. My plate had shrimp and chicken and had a spicy flavor that wasn t over bearing just perfect for my palate. The bread was delicious and so buttery. My husband got the chicken parmesan and he loved the flavor of the sauce. Kid-friendliness: My daughter got the chicken Alfredo and it was the perfect serving size for her!

What a great little place! We went on Sunday for a late lunch, early dinner. Who can have italian without bread?! We ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer, and it was delicious!! We had the Plano Special and Chicken Murphy. We took home cannoli. All were so delicious and fresh ingredients as well. We will most definitely be back. We are anxious to try some other dishes next time. The service by Kejsi was also fantastic.

Food was delicious and the service was outstanding. My wife was have a difficult time deciding between a couple of dishes and Kejse (pronounced: Casey ) was very helpful, no rush at all. Definitely will go back when we re on this side of DFW again and will recommend to friends/family. Us and another table had the bruschetta and both were raving about it. Went with friends and my sibling. Got charged $14 for noodles with butter. The baked ziti wasnt very good, and our waiter barely checked on us. When we walked in all staff we saw were on their phones. Just a bad time. My friends pizza also looked really greasy and it was falling apart on him. I know if it was mine I wouldnt have eaten it. $45 bill for bad food. Maybe I just came on a bad day idk, but we wont be coming again.

The food is nothing short of absolutely amazing. We got the chicken fetachini Alfredo, romas spicy salmon & shrimp ( shrimo substituted with chicken) with the appetizer of bread and mozzarella sticks. First of the bread is absolutely the best bread iv ever had. Crunchy on the outside and warm, soft, and just insanely good with a little bit of butter on them. 2nd the chicken fetachini Alfredo is almost perfect, normally with Alfredo places normally get 1 of 2 things wrong, the chicken being not good quality, the sauce being bland and boring and the pasta used isnt a good pasta for the dish. And this place nailed all 3 of them. The sauce is the most flavorful alfredo sauce iv had. My friend also really enjoyed her dish, the salmon was good and so was the pasta. Chicken, and sauce. The mozzarella sticks were also great. The 2 servers that where there where very attentive and sweet. And kind. You can tell they love their job a lot. The atmosphere was also very nice, quiet, and calm. It is kept very cold in this restaurant so I highly recommend bringing in a coat/ hoodie. I wish I lived in Texas to continue to try more dishes at this restaurant. Highly recommended! Came back the next day for the pizza we dident get to try, and it came out sooo good. The Alfredo and Buffalo pizza where amazingly flavorful and just awesome. We also decided to get the chocolate trilogy cake and that was a really good piece, it was very sweet but the white chocolate mousse helped balance it out and made a great cake. Highly reccomend all of these dishes! Parking: Parking right in front of the store. Kid-friendliness: The owner is very sweet and loves kids who come in. He is a very welcoming and always has a smile on his face. Wheelchair accessibility: There are 2 spots at the front of the restaurant for handicapped people

I dont know why we didnt try this place sooner. The lunch specials caught our eye while browsing for a new place to try for lunch, and they are a good value. Being our first time here, we started with a couple of standards. The wife tried the Chicken Piccata, and I went with the Chicken Parmesan. The included salads and rolls that came out first were both very good, but between the two the rolls won out. They were hot and fresh, and quite a few notches above the rolls were used to getting at other Italian restaurants in the area. When the entrées came out both were excellent. Obviously well prepared and sized right for our appetites. To top it all off, the service was also excellent. Attentive but not hovering, and with a really friendly attitude. As we told the gentleman, Well be back!. For sure.

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant on July 2. I had the Spicy Salmon and Shrimp which was the best Italian food I ve ever eaten. I rate it as the best of any food I ve ever had. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was outstanding. The music was soft enough that we could have a relaxed conversation without raising our voices. The chef is beyond talented. Stopped by this place on a whim and was greeted with amazing service. Our server was attentive and incredibly friendly. They were super quick with our order and getting our food out for us! The food was flavorful and well seasoned. We had the chicken Alfredo and a calzone. The calzone was huge and perfectly cooked and had just a bit of crisp to the outside like my friend liked. The one on negative thing I have to say is the sweet tea was not the best but that s not what you go to an Italian restaurant for so it wasn t much of an issue.

This place was an amazing experience. Me and my fiancé got chicken parmigiana and branzino risotto, along with their bruschetta, and they served us delicious buttered herb rolls as well. They also served us delicious espresso after the meal, which was a sweet taste of home and brought good memories. The food was divine, the owners were extremely sweet and we could tell that they love treating their clients with the best care and warmth. They were playing nice music, bossa nova and classical musical, which are personal favorites. It might have been a coincidence, but it made our experience more special, since Garota de Ipanema was playing. We will definitely be coming back.

I had my sisters birthday dinner here and I m so glad I did. I called ahead to order for 14 people and they accommodated me in every way possible. We are new to Plano and have searching for our go to neighborhood Italian spot. Tonight, we have found it! Large portions, friendly attentive service, and phenomenal Italian food. The owners are working to make this spot a true local gem. I Went here with my daughter tonight because it was the closest place to the hospital. The prices looked decent and we thought wed give it a try. When we walked in, we got a warm welcome from what I assume are the owners. We ordered bread rolls, fettuccine Alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was fantastic. I loved the pink sauce and the bread was amazing. We got checked on so frequently and I love that because usually when I m with my young child, I don t get the best service. We will definitely be back here. We spent about $35 with tip and have a meal for tomorrow.

Fantastic Italian place!! The food is all home made, in house, fresh as can be! I really dont find that many places and it really shows through in the quality. Ive had multiple menu items from Calzones to Pizza to Rigatoni Vodka, to Lasagna, every single item is delicious, Id recommend every single one. Update: This restaurant no longer sales Romanian food. We re heartbroken I haven t had a chance to taste the new chefs food. An update will come soon. Amazing Romanian & Italian food. The food is fresh, made of the best ingredients with amazing taste. For those adventurers whom have never tried Eastern European food, this is the place to do it. Service compares to any other restaurant in Europe, where you re allowed to stay, relax and enjoy food and conversation. If you re in a hurry, make sure to let your server know. The restaurant can feel lonely at times. But don t let that give you a wrong impression because the food really is tasty. I can t wait to come back, specially when they bring Romania music to the venue. Over all the restaurant is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. Went to the restaurant on September, 13 and it was a really great experience. The restaurant has a mix of romanian and italian food, very delicios. The romanian food really tasted like home ( i took the polenta with sour cream and cheese), pizza was crunchy and the service was quite fast. The owners are romanian and they were very welcoming and nice. It is a good place to taste a little from the European food, and the place to go for all romanians out there.

Thought we d give this place a shot based on the nearly 5-star reviews. Huge mistake!! Not only did the owner blame me for arriving when the app said the order would be ready (only to hear him tell me i told you 15 more minutes ) but pizza was disgusting!! No sauce on it loaded with cheese and completely flavorless!! If you are a true lover of great pizza, stay as far away from Roma s as possible. And did I mention it was $60 for a large pizza, a personal one and an awful lasagna ??? We threw the whole dinner in the trash. We ll stick with our go-to Verona from now on - lesson learned

What a WONDERFUL find! Ive never had Romanian food before and tried out Romas with 2 friends. Such a homey place with FABULOUS food and EXCELLENT service. I had the Mititei and it was so GOOD, one of those dishes you wish you could make at home, all the time. I had the Cannoli for dessert & they were nice enough to make it without the choc. chips (SO accommodating). This is a Family owned business (husband & wife) who were such a pleasure to talk with and gave us a tour of the restaurant as well! If you are looking for a new experience or just some darn good food, this special place is a must to try.

Went there for a birthday dinner as the birthday boy wanted anything but Asian. The atmosphere was nice and homey. However maybe because we went on a Sunday night there was only one waiting the tables so service was a bit slow (he did the best he could). We tried the tripe soup for the first time and it looked like corn chowder (as pictured). The pizza was ok, typical American style. The pastas were good. The rolls were crusty. The calamari were a bit dark. The desserts though were a bit of a hit or miss, tiramisu being the best of the bunch.

This is an authentic Romanian restaurant with some Italian dishes. I had the traditional Romanian Sarmale (Stuffed Cabbage Rolls) and they were absolutely delicious, just like the Sarmale back in Romania. It is a family owned and operated restaurant by a very sweet, friendly, and dedicated Romanian couple. They also have a good selection of deserts such as Tiramisu, Profiterole, Amandine, Savarine, Crepes, etc. A wonderful place to experience the authentic taste of the traditional Romanian cuisine.

Full disclaimer - I am originally from Romania , lived in the US for 20 years , however Ill try to be as truthful as possible in this review. I decided to try this place, because I read reviews about the traditional Romanian food they offer. First impression - the place is clean and with a welcoming atmosphere as you enter. The owner has welcomed us , and we had our table ready in a few minutes ( for a party of 8 ). He did inform us that all food is made fresh, on the spot, and he has also told us that some items from the menu are in short supply due to the daily demand( we arrived around 8 pm on a Saturday ) . We ended up getting the stuffed cabbage rolls and mititei . It cant get more traditional Romanian than that. The taste for the cabbage rolls ( sarmale ) was delicious , just like my grandma(s) and my mom used to make back in Romania , ages ago. The polenta served with the sarmale was a little soft for my taste, yet tasty. The skinny sausages ( mititei ) , again , tasted just like the ones I used to eat in Romania , mainly during country festivals etc. They did allow up to bring some drinks ( BYOD) , not wine nor beer , and the owner provided us with the shot glasses and ice for our party to share our drinks. We also ordered the tripe soup - another Romanian specialty - that was very tasty and with the right amount of ingredients provided to enhance it , for personal taste. For appetizer, we got the fish roe salad - that was good- even if the bread was sort of cold ( maybe to warm it up some before serving it ? ). We also wanted desert , however they were out of the traditional Romanian cake - Amandine - that I wanted, so we skipped. They also have an Italian menu that can be appealing to some clients . This is a small family own and operated restaurant , that makes fresh and tasty food. The owner was our very voluble server and his wife I understand is the main chef in the kitchen .- and she clearly knows what shes doing . They did have a lively Romanian music on the speakers and it was very enjoyable evening . All in all , if you want to try what is arguably traditional Romanian food in the Metroplex, pay them a visit. Ill return , for sure , to try the rest of the Romanian ( and maybe even Italian ) offerings they have . I have not been paid by the owner ( even if we do speak the same language ) to write this review - its my personal opinion about this restaurant and I will welcome other future clients to write their own reviews after they visit . Nothing brings people together like good food. When I think about Romania the only thing that comes to mind is Dracula! Sadly, no Dracula at this location - but I promise you will not be disappointed if you stop by. Romas Italian Kitchen was an extraordinary experience for our tastebuds. Romania with a touch of Italy? Sign me up! We started our evening with Salat de Vinete (Eggplant Salad) and Calamari. Both were fantastic, but we loved the eggplant salad as it was refreshing on a warm evening. The smoky tangy flavor paired with sliced tomatoes and bread had our stomachs craving for more. For the main dishes we ordered Mititei (a type of Romanian grilled meat roll or skinless sausage made with a mixture of beef, lamb, pork, garlic, and spices), Carbonara Tradizionali and Spicy Shrimp Alfredo. All 3 dishes were fantastic, and we truly had no complaints other than we wish our stomachs were bigger to take in more food. They also have a great selection of wines, beers, and desserts to satisfy all your cravings. We also had the pleasure of enjoying the evening with the owner, Lucian, who was kind enough to stick around and chat for a bit while we finished up our evening. You can feel the sense of pride and enjoyment he has created at Romas and we cant wait to return. Do yourself a favor and checkout Romas and order some authentic Romanian food that is delicious, filling and very savor! I promise you will not be disappointed!
