Bought a sword from them for $130 !! Just to see that the exact same company who sells the sword is selling it for $70 ! They said there was nothing they could do but an exchange. Would ve been nice to know beforehand that they don t do returns.

Lots of cool collectibles here, I really appreciate that theres a whole section dedicated solely to Star Wars action figures. I found some really dope, reasonably priced, Star Wars The Clone Wars 2003 boxed action figures here a couple years ago. Ive had them on display ever since .

I m genuinely disappointed that I even have to write this review because my boyfriend and I have been coming here for years, the products and variety in this store are amazing and I ve been recommending it to my friends for a long time, which is why this isn t a bad review . We came in this evening (8/12/24) because I wanted a critical role puzzle I saw last time I came in. They didnt end up having that one but I decided on another and went to look at the dice and, not gonna lie, I was probably there for like 15-20 minutes deciding which set to buy since I told myself I can only get one. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in the section and he overheard one of the employees (orange shirt, idk his name but you know who you are) say that s my least favorite type of customer to which two other employees chimed in saying things along the lines of yeah it s a pain to restock and they end up standing there for so long and don t even end up buying any dice , and I ll even give them the benefit of the doubt and say that s a valid complaint to make in the back room or off the clock, but the audacity to be talking bad about your customers directly in front of them is a level of disrespect I wouldn t have expected from these people. I really wish my boyfriend had told me this before we left spending about $60 on a puzzle and two sets of dice since these are things I could have ordered online and had I known, I would ve just left. Seriously, grow up and do better.

My wife and I buy board games every year for our anniversary. We like to support local businesses and ran across Madness Games and Comics. It is a nerds paradise! Not only did they have a huge selection of board games, the staff was also knowledgeable and gave excellent recommendations based on their personal experience. We have been there several times and brought our kids who enjoy the collections of games, manga, and game related toys and plushies. I highly recommend them to anyone into board games or card games. Plus the staff has been outstanding with any questions. I cant say enough good things about them, just see for yourself because it really is a unique and enjoyable store.

I needed a piece replaced for a Gunpla model kit that I had lost but I didn t have much of an idea where to start since I know Bandai Japan doesn t provide part/runner replacement services for customers outside of Japan. So I asked the staff for some advice as to how I should approach this, as well as if they could reprint my receipt so that I could provide proof of purchase to Bandai in order to even stand a chance of being helped. While all hands were pretty much tied with this issue, the staff did the best they could. They put me in touch with the owner and he personally went in to work on a Sunday just to pull up a copy of my receipt and send it to me. That s killer customer service. It would have been so easy for the staff to tell me that I m out of luck and I d just have to buy a whole new kit to replace the one part, but no. Even though I ended up having to go a different route altogether and just buy an overpriced replacement part from a third party seller, I m still very impressed with the lengths the staff at Madness Games & Comics went to help me out. Top marks for the Madness crew. I will be regular customer at this awesome shop and you should be too! -Grant J

I m giving 2 stars solely because they had lots of board games and they were mostly decently priced. My experience wasn t great, my wife is pregnant and very clearly showing and, while I was in an aisle, she sat down to rest. An employee told her she was not allowed to sit on the ground, which I don t actually believe because people sit down in Walmart all the time. (I know it s a different store, but). Anyways, the worker did not seem to care about our situation and it actually resulted in me not purchasing anything from the store.

Where do I even begin with this place, its massive for a game store and laid out in such meticulous way. The comics section is mostly TPBs, but enough to say it is a comics store and Im not sure if they have a back issues section. The store is primarily game and pop culture merchandise, so its truly a sight to behold and explore, so if you are a nerd in any sense, youll find something in there for you.

All right. I need to let everyone know something about this place. Besides it being THE place for gaming, rad shirts, reasonable prices and friendly knowledgeable staff. Okay, Madness used to be a planet pizza. In the very very very very back, theres an old ride. On Friday evenings and Saturday evenings you may be able to check it out. Usually theres a code wode or phrase you need. It changes every week. Go to the staff and ask. They will show you the way if you are worthy. Seriously.

love this place! the prices can be excessive at times, but its a small business, so i dont mind supporting them on occasion. the atmosphere is AMAZING and i have quickly become a regular since its fun to just see what they have in stock. they have so many hidden gems here of things i didnt even know existed, like board games from small companies and locally-owned businesses. its very cool and i highly recommend it if you have any geekiness in you! they have pretty much every interest under the sun here.

This is a great place to play and shop for board games. The staff has always been very helpful. The downside are the prices. Some items are reasonably priced and competitive. I prefer to support the local business and buy these items there. However, some items have a ridiculous mark up. More than ten times market price. I dont know why this is the case. They say, A fool and his money will be parted, and maybe they are taking advantage of this. IMO you should support the local business and buy there when the pricing is competitive. Unless you recently won the lottery pass on the others.

I feel like this place should rethink their prices instead of relying on desperate people who don t know better or have the patience to go somewhere else to get the item for far cheaper. $30 for black series figures is funny when I went to Jayden s toys and got the same ones for $12 and a free one during their past sales. Or Dallas vintage toys who have great prices as well. Places like these are cool upfront til you see how they operate.

Madness is always a great experience. Went to look for a board game I couldnt find anywhere else. They had it in stock (Clank catacombs) Madness usually has what Im looking for. They also got the brand new Wyrmspan in. It had just came out. I also picked up some lorecana and mtg cards. Great selection for both. For those of you who havent been. Its the largest comic/tabletop shop Ive ever been to. Its not an exaggeration. Its a massive place. Great selection, knowledgeable staff too.

Large game and comic store. If you are local this is a good place to go pick something up from. Store didnt seem to have a lot of community or personality like other games stores I frequent. If you are looking for a game store with community I would recommend common ground games in Dallas.

Been supporting for years. Blindly not knowing how I was getting ripped off by them resealing cards. I knew of the over priced items and the rude staff but even then I loved showing the store to my friends due to the size and options they had. But all over priced. The Pokémon cards I got last week were slightly open. Didn t notice until I was home. Then when I opened the booster pack the code card and energy card was in the middle!!!!!!! It wasn t even packaged correctly to hide them tampering with it. The week before I had bought a pack from them and got some cards damaged the same way and others where they weren t damaged. It was so odd we made a joke it was like two packs put together and now I m sure they were. I ll be updating my review later with photos of the cards. Find better places to support then this joke of a store .
