Visited for Texas Balloon Festival. It was an unique experience and would love to visit again. Kindly keep in mind that you need to step in and step out 3hrs timeframe along with actual event as theres a huge rush while accessing the area. Wish they fix the parking and accessibility issues. Physically challenged parking was very hard to find during the event as well and saw many elderly people walking around 1.2Miles. The space within the arena is wide enough for large audience. Have nice time here

We attempted to attend the Back To School PISD Event, sat in line in the car for over an hour, only to pull up to the parking and have everything blocked off. There was no one guiding people trying to attend the Event, only those exiting so if you were on the southbound side of the street after sitting in a long line, you were expected to make a U-turn and cut off the other line going North on the college side. There was no one guiding us so a lot of people frustrated and drove off. I had my handicap sticker ready and waiting and no one helped us. Not only were we pushed to continue down Jupiter but we didn t even get to attend this event because of how traffic kept us going South with half the u-turns blocked off . This event was no help to my autistic children. It was a disaster and I am in tears because we really needed our supplies. Please have inclusive events for ALL PISD students. This was a disaster!

The temperature inside was pleasant. I had brought a sweater, figuring I would get chilled. Round tables made it hard to see the presenter if you didnt get the right seat. The hallways were crowded with the amount of people that were attending the conference. When we were leaving since there is construction going on, one of the doors jam started falling and almost hit the ladies behind me.

Its a good place. But due to construction activities the in coming roads are in bad condition and to dusty. If the event managers take a place within the center, they should keep in mind the number of people going to attend the event. If not planned properly, it could be too congested.

Watching the citizenship oath ceremony at the Plano Center was an incredible experience. The Plano Event Center was a great location for the Red, White, and You job fair. There was plenty of parking. The center was comfortable and well lit. The breakout rooms were well maintained and the rest rooms were very nice. The Plano Event Center was a great place to hold an event.

Wide open spaces for having an event. Easy to find with lots of parking. The food options for breakfast and lunch (and snacks )were good and they were able to accommodate a large crowd. Place is clean, though temperature regulation across all rooms varied - some rooms were comfortable and others cold. Employees were very friendly and helpful.

The Event Center was hosting the Plano Quilt Guild show Friday & Saturday. There were a few hundred really nice quilts displayed in this judged show. There were also a few dozen high quality quilt related vendors selling their wares. Weve attended this show in this excellent facility for many years now. The lighting in the display hall is great for displaying the quilts.

if you are scheduled here for your Oath Ceremony for Naturalization - Congratulations fellow American! there are no signs to direct you where to go, but there are two entrances. One will have a makeshift photo location with garden sized American flags in the grass and some red white blue table decoration thrown on a bush. The other entrance will have nothing. Typically there are three ceremonies a day, morning will have over one thousand people, late morning just over half, finally afternoon with over 500 as the Ceremony takes place about once a month. Depending on which youre scheduled will determine if there is room for guests or not. Speaking of guests... Small children will be bored and will cry and scream during the twenty minute or so Ceremony, the longest part is getting everyone checked in and funneled into the event center. Overall expect two to three hours, its best not to bring small children - like this comment or not, they will be bored and wont understand whats going on. For some, this is a very special and emotional day - please respect it. Dont forget to register to vote - youve earned it. Again, welcome fellow Americans!!
