For reasons no one will really care about, doctor bills and other things built up until my wife and I had no choice but to declare bankruptcy. I was EXTREMELY lucky to have discovered this law office, Collins & Arnove. They were located close to my work so it was also convenient. If anything in bankruptcy can be said to be easy, dealing with Greg was very easy. He was a Godsend. It didnt take a lot of back and forth and no huge amount of paperwork. He walked us through the process and prepared us for the trustee sessions. I expected it to be hard and perhaps a bit humiliating. It was anything but that. Greg understood that stuff happens. We got the program going in almost no time, less that a couple of weeks. No more letters, calls, etc. We could answer the phone without sweating it in only a couple of months. Our program involved a 60 month payment schedule and it was set up on an automatic process with the trustee. Then for the next 4 years, all we did was check in annually. The fees were included in the trustee payment process so the out of pocket to get going was almost nothing. Ive heard of other companies having you pay over $2000 up front. I hate that it was necessary, but if you find it necessary for yourself, you cannot go wrong with Collins & Arnove. I am extraordinarily pleased with their service! Thanks Greg!!

I had contacted William Collin couple of months back to explain about my hardship situation and to get to know about the options I have. William is the man... Everything about him and his team is down to earth. It was nerve wracking going into this, as soon as we met him we were at complete ease. I was not looking forward to talking to a stuck up in a $5k suit, and thank goodness that is not him(which I personallyappreciate)...I never once saw him out of bluejeans and a t shirt, giving simple straight answers. Im highly disappointed with Mr. Collins. I set an appointment with him for 2:00pm however, due to the situation Im going through that led me to him in the first place, I got tied up in a meeting with the title company and called first, then emailed to reschedule my appointment. When I finally had 2 seconds to step away and make a phone call to his office, I was met with a very rude and condescending tone of voice and demeanor. He spoke down to me and told me my situation was too complicated and he didnt have time to deal with my case. He said he would give me some numbers. I was in complete shock. After finally deciding it was time to tackle the unrealistic pile of debt I somehow accumulated during graduate school and post-divorce I went searching. First Off- this May be the 1st or 2nd review I ve done in my 25 years of my career. Likely the 1st since I can t remember doing another one. I d give him a 10 star if possible. How did I found William Collins? You guessed it google. Im very particular in choosing who I align myself with - and right from the outset to the quick response- using their online booking calendar- numerous locations including Rockwall- and Plano- I was booked for a consultation immediately. Yes I check Google and other Reviews- and you can tell which reviews are bogus- and the credibility that comes when reading countless reviews that all sure as heck seemed legitimate- and real stories. It was an easy choice. Choosing to Filing Bankruptcy is an emotional and stressful decision- and even taking the time to set up the meeting with an attorney- which everything I read online- said I d be crazy not to hire an attorney. Dang- here I thought- I m detailed I could go it alone at first- was I wrong- and there is no way I could have not only got my Chap 7 case discharged- but received superb counsel from William along the way. He is a straight shooter and is not the type to tell one what they want to hear but rather what true reality is. He was able to read my situation in likely 15-20 minutes- even after I came in with two tub full of receipts , Tax Returns and collection notices. 100 collection calls per day- 50-100 creditors hounding you- to the minute William filed - ( which was within 2 days of our meeting) - all stopped. What a huge relief - it allowed me to get my career back on track and begin to make good Fact based decisions. You go with your gut- and I tell you I pretty much knew my the time I stepped into his office- met William and his SuperStar Paralegal- Christine- that was it- I found my bankruptcy attorney - who also provided so much insight on all the other items going on during the 3.5 months it took- from filing to taking courses - to meeting with the trustee( twice). When someone can take away that stress and give you confidence- and everything he told me would happen happened - you know you found your guy. William is an absolute expert In his profession. - he was calm , cool and collected- asked me a few questions- and gave me incredible confidence in my case, options - and explained in layman s terms which options made sense for me- and the steps. He s a straight shooter but knows how to deliver a message with tact. Nothing seems to get him riled up- and I tell you dealing with people like William Collins- someone you know you can count on y all to be reasonable , advise of risk adverse solutions - and have confidence that the feedback comes from his many years of experience in yalls fields. William Collins handles my Chapter 7 bankruptcy case. I was able to make an appointment online. He started the paperwork during that first appointment and made everything very easy. He arranged a payment plan for the cost, while a previous attorney had expected the whole cost up front. I initially researched and contacted several attorneys before deciding on William. I selected him because I was able to meet with him in person and not a staff member, his cost was the most affordable, and he explained everything to me. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because once I emailed the same information a few times and did not get a response which was very unusual as William himself usually responds fairly quickly even when he was on vacation. His response would be something simple like got it but at least it was a response. In this particular instance, I emailed a 3rd time with the same info and asked why wasnt I getting a response. He responded to that one was in what I believe was a very rude way, no apology for not responding he just basically told me what I was requesting wasnt important at that time. Update to owners response: I NEVER asked to have any services done for free, may you need to re-read my response I said your services were great however you were rude in your response which you were. If you decided not to charge then say that but dont portray that I asked you give me something for free, besides how can I not pay you when Im billed for your services. Like I said you telling me its the end of the month and you didnt have time was not necessary a simple response to say you received it would have been sufficient enough.
