Don t bother spending your money here because they are rude!!!! After a long day of working as a healthcare worker btw! This cashier made a huge deal about getting a kids burger for my kid!! Pretty stating much stating I was lying anbout who the burger was for! And was being petty and not only that but look at the amount of fries they put in my son s meal. This is ridiculous. I also wanted a small to go container for hot sauce and she said hot sauce is for dine in only customers and would be charging me. How ridiculous. We chose this place because it is close to our clinic and wanted something quick after leaving for the day and we have a staff of over 20 people and none of us will be going back ever!! We mentioned this to everyone at work in our group chat and let them know to never try this establishment unless they wanted to be treated poorly. look at the amount of fries they gave my 12 year old! Truly disgusted. Editing my original review because apparently I can t respond to this owners response in a separate thread. The definition of rude : offensively impolite or ill-mannered. That is the way your cashier treated us when ordering at your establishment today. We have a bad taste in our mouth and I say that hypothetically and theoretically speaking because in no way shape or form was this a polite kind or generous encounter. You expect health care workers to have those qualities but can t address your staff or hold them to the same standards is disgusting. Policy is policy but for your cashier to continue to ask and almost harass us about the age of the person the meal is for, is that appropriate? Would a picture of my son eating the 6 fries he was served and the burger make you feel better about not harassing people when spending money at your restaurant? The only misleading thing here is the amount of fries that were provided in my sons meal and I d bet my life on it that it was so poorly under poured because of the fact that your cashier continued to insist the burger wasn t for a 12 year old because of the contents. Don t worry I ve wasted enough energy on this review and hoped your establishment would take this review as constructive criticism to be better but very clearly even that was a waste of time. Don t worry we won t be spending money here again.

I got the Double Cheeseburger with fries and a coke. It was meaty, juicy, cheesy and delicious. The fries are great too. Ive gotten mine to go both times Ive eaten there and its hot and fresh. Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten free options.

Do not walk in the restaurant if you have a $100 bill because the cashier will act as if your money is FAKE. I came here based on the reviews. My total came to close to 37 dollars. I handed the cashier a $100 bill. She asked where I got it from. It shouldnt matter but since she asked, it came from my winnings from the casino. She felt the bill and was hesitant about accepting it then asked if I had another means of payment. She then tells me that my $100 bill should feel a little more rough (which was weird to say) I then gave her my debit card. No customer should feel there money isnt acceptable for any reason (unless its torn up) If they couldnt accept bills bigger than $20 or $50, thats understandable. But seriously, what training does the cashier have to feel a bill to indicate whether or not its real or fake. This is the first and last time I will spend my money here

I ve tried Edmond s twice. All their burgers are double which makes them super valuable for $12 - $14. The patties taste awesome and their combination with other ingredients makes the burgers unique. People are also really nice and I d highly recommend it.

Update 2nd visit, Buffalo chickens sandwich and Fried fish sandwiches are very yummy too!! --------- Burger patty is huge and flavourful. Lots of jalapeños on my Southwest burger. I wish the pepper is a bit spicier but of course not everyone likes too spicy, I get it. My husband loved the Hawaiian burger. Very unique. The onion rings and sweet potatoe fries are a bit too burnt for me but still tastes good. I will want to try their fish burger next time. For now, I am agreeing with everyone else that it is 5 star!!

We wanted to love Edmonds after reading all the reviews but we just didnt. The burgers were good, not great. They have a flaw in their ordering system for dine in & to go. We asked when placing our dine in order about placing a to go order. We were told to place the to go closer to the end of our meal. After noticing several people wait for their food & go up to the register to check on the status (its a walk up & order & they bring the food to your table system) we decided to place the order halfway through eating our dine in meals. The to go order was a shake, burger & fries. Knowing its to go, instead of making the shake at the end, they made it right after we ordered it. With the extended wait time on food, the shake would have been completely melted by the time the rest of the order was ready. I asked & they did put it in the freezer for us until the rest of the food was ready. The incident that bothered us the most was when they brought part of the order to the table next to us. It was a kids meal for an adult. I completely understand why someone would order the kids meal as its a single patty which isnt offered on the regular menu. The employee actually confronted the guests about ordering the kids meal for an adult. I understand thats their prerogative to have a kids menu, it was just very uncomfortable to be seated so closely to a table getting reprimanded. It was just handled poorly in our opinion. It was very busy so Im certain we werent the only guests to witness/hear.

I got the bacon cheeseburger. Its a double meat patty, made from some of the best beef Ive ever had. The fries were phenomenal as well as the brewed tea. The prices were outstanding, and the lady behind the counter was so sweet. The inside was clean with a warm atmosphere! I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will visit on every work trip back to the area!

They were delicious - the perfect amount of crisp breading to onion ratio (not overly fried) and the homemade ranch served with them was a nice touch. Drove an hour to see some birds nextdoor. My fiance had come here before during a visit and said the burgers were good so she brought me. Walked in, wasnt too busy, we were greeted immediately. The lady working the counter answered our questions as my fiance was trying something new. We ordered and grabbed a table. Food came out quickly, exactly as ordered. I got the bacon cheese burger minus onions and mayo. Bacon was thick and crispy giving a nice contrast in texture. The buns was pillowy and toasted perfectly. Cheese was melted and beef was still moist. Definitely a good sized burger especially for the price. My fiance got the spare rib sandwich and she said it was better than the burger last time. She said the meat melted in her mouth and the house sauce was amazing. We split a large fry. Fries were not crispy but not soggy, a perfect cook to highlight the potato not the oil. They had just the right amount of salt and they came out piping hot. The place got busier while we ate and I see why. Excellent food, great service and good price. Well definitely be back the next time were out this way.

We had a sudden craving for burgers this past weekend and wanted something local. A quick Google search led us to Edmonds and it was so good. I have Celiac, so a gluten free bun option is a must. They dont use buns, instead thick slices of bread - GF folks know this is a good thing. The bread was toasted to perfection and the bacon cheeseburger was juicy and delicious. My guy had the cheese steak and said it was yummy. We shared a large fry (PLENTY for 2 people). The fries are real potatoes fried crispy and perfect without too much salt - just the right amount. **Celiac people: I didnt ask about dedicated fryers or cross contamination. I didnt have a reaction, but if you are extremely sensitive, ask first.

- Customer service was great - The best thing was the Lemon pie cake!?! I think thats what she called it. Whatever it was, it was great - The sweet potato fries were good but they were not crispy - The burger... I am glad I dont live too close to Edmunds Burgers or I would weigh 500 pounds next week! Oh my heavens, but the food is sooo good!!!!!!! I had the hamburger, fries and a Barqs Root Beer. Just so juicy and delicious! These are substantial burgers! And the fries are sooo crispy and good. A word of warning: dont think about wearing your fancy clothes here or they may suffer some stains...not to worry, they have PLENTY of napkins! The table next to me ordered the Bleau Burger which was exploding with bleau cheese. I had to hold back from asking for a bite. The service is very friendly AND accomodating to special requests. If youre in the neighborhood..even if youre NOT in the area make it a point to eat here! And, no, this review is straight from my heart and tummy. Oh so very delish. My wife Steph and I have ordered here twice. The food has been delicious both times. They don t serve pork which is a delight for me because I m Muslim. Glad to have found a place that serves beef bacon and the short rib tacos are delish. My wife and I like to order multiple things when we find a new place to decide if we will go a second time and indeed we did. We ordered the burgers, wings,loaded fries, and the tacos. Edmonds is a small family restaurant in Plano. We were peasantly surprised to find it. It is not a sit-down and order type of restaurant. You walk in, and they take your order at the register like they do at a fast food place. The lady behind the register (maybe the owners wife) is a sweet and beautiful soul who never stops smiling! Their main thing is burgers and fries, although they have other things on the menu like salads. I got a cheeseburger and fries, and my husband got a Swiss burger that came with double patties, melted Swiss, and mushrooms. The food was tasty and good and I enjoyed eating there. It is a very small place, and while we were there, many people came in to either pick up their to go orders or to line up at the single register to order their food. It is definitely a family place with many children of all ages, even a Spiderman birthday party going on at a couple of tables! If you want a tasty burger on a lazy Saturday afternoon at a mom and pop type, old-fashioned burger joint, this is the place for you!

Dude. The burger was huge, messy, delicious... everything I was craving. I knew my 20-minute drive would affect the fries and onion rings (I have to get both when trying a new place) so I grabbed a few when I got in the car. The onion rings were HUGE, crispy and flavorful while the fries were the perfect balance of crispy and soft, seasoned to perfection for me. Aida (owner with her husband) is super sweet and helped me get the exact burger I wanted. She even held my order for a bit so it would be fresh and hot when I arrived. ***** HIGHLY RECOMMEND ****** The Swiss mushroom burger was juicy and cooked exactly as requested. It was one of the best I ve had. The BLT (beef bacon) was crispy and fresh. It was good. The beef bacon was so good. They have beer (cold beer) and prices were very fair. I loved the onion rings. My preference. She preferred the fries. Desert looked so good. Save to try next time.

Great casual burger and more. Food was delicious, cooked fresh, and delivered quickly to our table. There were 11 of us and everyone agreed it was very good and a place to go to again. Our first time here. I googled best burgers in Plano and this unknown popped up. What a pleasant surprise. Run by the husband and wife team of Aida on cashier and Edmund on the gill. She takes the order, he cooks it and they run it to your table. They are so pleasant and she s always smiling! Now for the food. One of THE best burgers I can remember and I ve been in the restaurant business my whole life (50+ years). Juicy, hot, cooked perfectly to requested temperature (med rare for me, medium for the wife). Hot crisp fries. And the price? You gotta be kidding me. See the free joy for proof. $9.99 daily special for a single burger fries and a drink. Where do you get that anymore?? And my double blue burger at $9.99 also a bargain. You really need to try Edmund s and support our local family run business. You won t be disappointed and make sure to meet Aida and Edmund who walk around to make sure everyone is happy. Edmonds Burgers is very good. I would even rate it as a very high 4 stars (since we can only rate based on whole numbers). My daughter got the lunch special, which is a combination of a cheeseburger, fries, and a fountain drink for $9.99. In this day and age, that is a pretty good deal for a well cooked burger. She ate all of it and said it was good. Her only minor complaint was that she wished the sauce was more evenly distributed throughout the burger instead of concentrated in the middle. I had the Jaden Burger, which was delicious. It is pretty much a patty melt with caramelized onion plus an egg on top. The burger was well seasoned and tasty. The only different thing is that next time I would ask for it to be lightly seasoned since I dont prefer an overly sauced burger. Overall, the service was both friendly and fast. My daughter and I enjoyed our lunch. Outside of it being over 10 minutes to drive here, we definitely would visit here more often. Parking: Located in a strip mall with plenty of street surface parking spots.

Best burger in Plano! Genuinely one of the best burgers I ve ever eaten. I know that s incredibly cliche, but it s the God s honest truth. All the ingredients were incredibly fresh and made to order. Wifey got the gyro with homemade tzatziki sauce. Loved it. I got the cheeseburger with grilled jalapeños, or as I like to call it, the beefy peener w/ cheese. Loved it too. The best part of our experience though was the staff. They re always so kind and inviting. Parking: Tons of parking in a large lot Kid-friendliness: The owner always asks about our kids. Also, they have around six high chairs and only around twelve tables.

We stopped in tonight because my wife wanted burgers. We were blown away. This is easily the best smashburger-style burger in Plano - even after bringing our delivery order home. The burgers have a lot of structure, which makes them transport really well - nothing was soggy or messy! The fries were thick-cut and crispy! When we picked up, the owner (I think?) came out to say hi and welcome us in. Im pumped to have a place like this near us and it will be our go-to place from here on out! Wonderful little restaurant. The burgers are truly mouthwatering. Get the onion rings for good measure. Dip them in ranch dressing and I promise youll want to get more than just one order of rings. I am giving four stars only because I feel its slightly over-priced. I understand everything costs more these days. But dropping at least $20 on an entree with a fountain drink is a bit steep. The food is definitely worth it, but visit sparingly, due to the cost. Side note: try the beef bacon. Ive only had bacon from pork, but beef bacon is a game changer.

Edmonds is the best family restaurant that is located in Plano. The owners, Edmond (the Chef) and his wife, Aida (the head cashier), are a couple that came here from their home country of Albania and they both have the same frame of mind. And that frame is to have all the customers a love that they in providing the people that eat here, the best food that they can get here in Plano. Being diabetic, I have to be careful about the food I eat. And the Greek Salad isperfect for me to enjoy ande reorder time after time that I have eaten here. You must try several of the foods that they have on their menu when ever you eat here. Please try the items on their menu and you will be like almost all of the customers that come here. You will come back and continue to try anything you want on the menu. An Outstanding place to eat great food!

Id have to say its a contender for top 3 burger in DFW, behind maple and motor and Kennys but its close and this is cheaper. The bun stands out. Just wow ! We were attended the min we walked in, they have a variety of different foods on the menu. My fiancé and I both got a burger, while we were looking over the menu she engaged in a good conversation that s hard to find nowadays. The food was brought out fresh from the grill and the food is so delicious! 12/10 definitely recommend every customer was content!
