The restaurant wont let you place a takeout order over the phone for delivery apps. Very inconsiderate and inconvenient for the customer. Love wait times. Would not recommend for delivery drivers or for people who want to order through delivery apps . EDIT: EVEN WHEN YOU ARE FINE WITH PAYING OVER THE PHONE.

We were heading out to South Padre Island and needed a light snack for the road. Stopped in for a couple sandwiches and boba drinks. The atmosphere was great! The prepaid meals was great to see to help the less fortunate. Nicely decorated restaurant. We waited for over 20 minutes for our sandwiches... surprisingly a very long time for sandwiches when I can usually get them pretty quick at other banh mi places. Spicy charsiu and Vietnamese cold cut. Tasted good just small maybe 6 sandwiches.

very bad service, they take a long time to serve and the cashier serves with a very bad face, the cashiers dressed in black were very friendly but the one in blue was very unfriendly, it was also not because there were many people since my companion and I were the first to arrive and the LAST to leave since it took more than 40 minutes to bring us our food, during that period of time customers continued to arrive and were served before us. I cant complain about the food since the boba was very good and the Korean corn dogs too, but the service 0/10.

Food wasn t great was not impressed with their pho. Corn dogs I ll give them a 2 out of 10. The tea tasted like something I could ve made at home. I ended up paying around 90 for 4 corn dogs 1 pho and egg rolls and 3 teas. Ohh and that included 15 in fees. I m more disappointed at the price I paid for the quality of food. Girl in the back was serving rice with her bare hands anyway will not be going again. The only thing that was good was my sons Coca Cola.

Love the vegan options. Had the boba tea without milk and the tofu banh mi which was delicious and a great size. My boyfriend had the pho and it was very tasty and had a great amount of veggies and meat. We also had the steamed dumplings and they had the right amount of spice and vinegar to hit the spot. Friendly staff and great service, as well. Highly recommend and will be back to try more options in food and drinks.

Good place to spend your Sunday. We bought a Purple Dream with added boba and a Mango Bingsu, both really good. Good flavor. I really liked the ice texture on the Bingsu. Even better with fresh mango. Good service. Bingsu is $9 but its a big bowl. Boba $8. I would definitely be back to tray the other Bingsu flavors. Kid-friendliness: Reading area

My kids and I decided to go without looking at reviews first, we were really craving a Korean corn dog. The place was empty when we got there so we really didnt have to wait in line, the girl that took our order was polite so theres no issue with customer service in my experience. We ordered 2 beef and cheese hot cheeto corn dogs and 1 potato and cheese corn dog, and 3 boba drinks. We got them for dine in, while looking for a table we saw that all the tables were dirty and sticky. We sat in the table that seemed the cleanest but it was still sticky. The place smelled musty, just an overall smell of dirty. The condiment table was dirty and unkept but we let it slide being that we had already put in our order. We waited about ten minutes to get our food, at first glance everything looked appetizing until we tried it. The corn dogs had no flavor, the batter tasted a bit sour and yeasty, the cheese tasted old and like refrigerator. Our drinks were not it, it straight up tasted like toilet water smells. Ive tried my share of boba teas and these were by far the nastiest I have ever had. We immediately felt sick to our stomachs to the point of wanting to throw up. This food is outrageously priced for the bad quality that it is. I will never come back again nor will I recommend to anyone. Sorry for the long review but I couldnt let it pass.

I had the glazed salmon rice bowl, garlic shrimp toast, and the dumplings, which were a little spicier than Im used to, but not too spicy for me to enjoy. I loved it all and hope I can come back again some day.

No matter how many times you lie that the sandwich was not like that it was! And if it wasnt like that then your waitress ate the meat! Instead of putting more effort into fighting and lying so much to someone who leaves a negative review better your establishment and customer service. I cant believe you put all this time into lying about some crumbs of meat lol

In regards to fishing s review the sandwich was for me. Are you really on here lying that I ordered a whole sandwich just to pick off the crumbs of meat you provided and then decided to not pay for it?? I also ordered an appetizer and drinks and even though the appetizer was not very good we still paid for it! I did not flag down anyone the person I was with went to the register to address the issue with my sandwich a minute later not moments later like you claim. And you were not there so why are you lying about that? Because like a good manager or owner you would ve come out to fix the problem! Seeing the way you handle negative reviews says a lot about you and how you love to scam people and make it seem like they are lying just to cover up for your poor service.

1st ding on them is that theres no sign that says Please Be Seated or Please Wait To Be Seated. Therefore, we had to walk up and ask since we were not greeted by anyone upon arrival. I prefer places that bring you a physical menu as well and not a qr code. Now the drinks were great and the Fries Surprise was pretty good. Since its the weekend, we also tried the Korean Corn Dogs. The Potato Cheese and Potato Beef & Cheese were enjoyable, yet the dog itself is too small (it only took up about half of the corn dog).

If you are trying to get people to come and try your food, then don t close it for private events. You should still offer to go services at least. It seemed like they closed for their own family event. You need consistency in your hours of operations, another suggestion is to have your gathering outside of the regular operating hours.

Finally an authentic Asian restaurant in the valley. Everything has a home cooked feel to it and flavors are on point! We started off with the dumplings and spring roll. Both were delicious but the dumplings stood out because of the complex flavors. You get a little bit of spicy but sweet sauce covering deliciously handmade dumplings. It just makes you want to eat more. We also got the firecracker shrimp, which actually had more of a spicy kick than the dumplings. The sauces make the shrimp really tasty. For my entree, I had to try the fried rice. Listen, if youve never had anything other than valley fried rice, this will blow you away. Instead of drowning it soy sauce, this restaurant actually uses seasonings to enhance the flavor. So you end up with a fried rice that smells and tastes amazing. I will say, they could enhance the flavors even more and use a larger egg. However, it was made pretty well. Pricing is mixed. Appetizers are priced way too high. Spring rolls are $7 for three. Five dumplings for $7.25. Five tempura shrimps for $8.50. The only unique item is the dumplings. Everything else, you can get at other restaurants for cheaper. Going over to the entrees, I think theyre priced well. Theyre all around $15 and you get good portion sizes. I will briefly mention service since it seems to be the one detractor on other reviews. We came in closer to closing. But our waitress was still patient and took our orders normally. It did take a while for someone to come but the service was not as bad as Ive seen in other reviews. Overall, this place is a breath of fresh air that offers delicious authentic food. I do wish appetizers would be a bit cheaper but Ill come back to try the entrees.

The lemonade was really bland and bitter idk why it s purple maybe it s the way how they do it I m not sure but It was really off and the promoted Korean corn dogs were really off. I tasted more of the batter and it was really bland for the regular cheese one. The beef and cheese and potato one was actually bland and burnt. There was honestly no flavor at all. Once commented they only said sorry that you didn t like it. BUT we sold 300 of these like I understand you sold a lot but why sell a lot of them if there was no flavor and the ones WE got was burnt and undercooked a plus 30$ for 3 corn dogs and a lemonade this whole thing? Like that seems super overpriced for something like this terrible customer service as well the lady who attended us she seemed to have a very bad attitude. She was told that it was to go and instead she put as it was for dine in. Once explained it was to go she gave a look and attitude and just walked off.

Food and customer service were alright. The staff was and environment were draining if that makes sense? I got the friend rice and rice bowl with ribs and they were about $14-15 each. The friend rice was alright flavor was good but no more than good. They gave a little portion on the meat just kinda made it seem like a good size on the pic. As a picked up a piece I realized how small the meat was. The drink was good. I probably wouldn t come to this place again for food because it s overpriced and flavor isn t all that great. Also keep in mind they charge for simple condiments like siracha. This caught me off guard when I viewed the receipt because I wasn t told they charged. I have had drinks from this place and they re good so I ll give them that. Drinks are something I would recommend. This isn t slander but I wouldn t recommend the place for food though Comment after their comment: I go to small businesses all the time whether it be in McAllen or weslaco or Edcouch Elsa, etc. These places are very generous (as in they don t charge extra for siracha and other things) and most of the time meet my expectations or higher. Thank you for replying and taking my review into consideration. If I do end up going again I ll probably only stick to the beverages and just have some siracha with my just in case. Good day!

Best pho in the valley!!!! Its so flavorful by its self. Had the beef bahn mi a d it was warm with a crunch from the bread. The pork eggs rolls were great too with the sweet sauce. The salmon glaze bowl was cooked so good the fish was melting in my mouth and finishing with the seared glaze taste was heaven! Thai tea is the best i have had in the valley. I finally found my go to Vietnamese fix spot. I will come back and try more. Thank you SnowBite!

Me and my best friend travel around the rgv trying foods together to bond and this is probably the best place we have been to in 5 years, the Sriracha chicken wings are the star of the show for me, while his pho has so much flavor like someone s grandma put her love and soul into it, if you have picky kids the popcorn chicken is delicious and light.. anything here will satisfy your craving for delicious Asian culture

Great food with good flavor. Havent had a dish here I didnt enjoy. The food is always fresh and plates come out hot. If youre full make room for dessert, because the Banana Bomb or the Brick is amazing must try. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options like tofu substitutes. Parking: This restaurant shares a whole plaza so plenty of parking. They also have reserved 15 minute parking for pick up to go orders.

I bought a small meal bowl for 11.99 and I asked for chili and soy sauce for my bowl. They said it was $1.49 for the sauces I was like are serious I just came here a month ago and it was free now its $1.49 for something so cheap I can drive to Panda Express and get it for free. She said with attitude YES its $1.49. Thankfully I had it already ready for pick up they maybe would of spit on it. Its not about being cheap its about the principle. This will be the last time I come here I I used to come here religiously.

They place was empty I thought great I ll great amazing service since I m the only customer, when the waitress did recommend the Emperor s fried rice and tamarind wings, the rice good portion and price, the wings were very small hardly any meat, the taste of sauce was good, I tend to eat alone to enjoy me time yet reception was bad I could watch anything on my phone, I asked waitress for password and she stated it was private I was very disappointed since I was alone so I got the full. Negative effect of eating alone, I asked for hot oil sauce and she gave a serving yet didn t inform me it would be a additional charge, my total was 23.92 without tip or drink/ I had water.

Taro Dalgona and Thai tea w boba in the photo. Ive been to this place twice and they dont disappoint. Their tapioca pearls are consistent in texture so you wont get soggy boba. Their taro dalgona is honestly my favorite, its mostly coconut milk with a thick creamy taro that I love. I have yet to try their food, but Im hoping to do so soon. Their customer service is also impeccable !

Vietnamese food done right. The pho broth was flavorful and perfumed with hints of clove and other aromatics. The fish sauce for my noodle dish was well balanced, not overly spicy, just tangy and sweet. But the service at this fast casual eatery was by far the stand out! If you know nothing about Vietnamese food, and want to try a fantastic example, come here and ask for Desirea, not only does she know the menu, she will be able to suggest something you will enjoy. Don t forget to ask about their extensive tea and drink menu.

Not sure how this place has close to 5 stars. They took almost an hour to bring our food which wasn t hot not even remotely warm. And the pho tasted watered down absolutely no flavor. I brought my friends that have never tried pho and they all left their bowls full cause of how horrible they thought it was. After that they forced us to pay 18% gratuity cause of our group. Which I think is fine but they didn t do anything right ! If you want real good pho go to mission pho lee lai, they blow the doors off of this place ! I ll never be coming back here food is expensive and not even worth the taste. My friends said best part of this place was the Dr Pepper they ordered, the only thing that had flavor. Edit for reply amazing how they aim at a small joke but doesn t explain all the pho being cold after taking an hour to get there !??? Makes no sense to me.

When I scan, it was so slow to show so I used my boyfriend phone and it works. When I walked in, they ignored me like 5-10 minutes and they were not busy at all, there were 2 customers when we came in. After scanning from my boyfriend phone, we just left.

Our server recommended the spicy dumplings, so we made an order. The dumplings were served in a skilled with heavy sauce over them. They were very saggy and breaking apart. I did not eat them and immediately returned them. However, I was charged for them. When I asked to speak for a manager I was told that she was busy on the phone and that she was going to take long. I asked to speak to the second person in command, and I was told that there wasnt anybody else. The cashier and server seemed lost and completely unprepared to handle customer service-related issues. Its shocking when a business delivers poor management skills and in turns risks customer experience for a $7 charge.

Meals are good not great since they are a modern flair of Vietnamese cuisine losing that authenticity that I prefer. The banh mi are served on small red baskets with French fires but the paper liner is too small to cover the basket so the food touches the sides of the basket which appear worn. The service was a bit slow and the waitstaff brought tap water instead of the bottle water that came with the banh mi combo. A separate experienced employee did recognize the misunderstanding and brought us bottles. I also think the basket is too small so nowhere clean to set the sandwich down. An offer to provide a fork is a must as the meat tends to fall out. More napkins from the get go would be preferred too as the sauce and spice of the spicy pork sandwich is good but messy. Watermelon drink was ordered with meal but they didn t have so half the meal was eaten when they told us. We canceled the order. Upon leaving noticed the passion fruit drink which they could have offered when realized the watermelon wasn t available. Anyways took the passion fruit togo and it was delicious. I will return as I do love Vietnamese food. I will try the Pho and Bun with other visits.

I love eating at Snowbite. Literally here about 3 times per week. The Spring rolls, Noodle Bowls, Pho, Ive tried them all. Im a big eater of asian food. This restaurant has the best Chili Oil ive ever had. This restaurant is 5 starts all around from the food quality to the service. Locally owned and run by Vietnam Natives. I love the food here because its not heavy and doesnt leave you feeling like a grease ball. You can eat a noodle bowl and hit a 10mile run an hour later and break some PRs. Eat at Snowbite, you wont regret it.

The curbside, food, and customer service at this place are all equally disappointing and laughable. My girlfriend & placed a curbside order at 6PM today, and the lady on the phone was unnecessarily rude when asked about the menu and gave us attitude, prompting my girlfriend to give her some back. We were told our order would be done in around 20 minutes, after which we left to Snowbite to pick up our order. When we called it in, the same lady told us it would be done in another 10 minutes or so. We ended up waiting outside for another 20 minutes, and had to call back just to be told our order was being packaged. Another few minutes passed by and it still wasnt brought out. We were there til almost 7pm before actually getting our food. During this time, another person had parked next to us, went inside to wait in line, ordered something, and got their food before we did. I mean seriously? How can you guys have curbside when someone can just walk in and order something, and get it BEFORE us, when weve been waiting longer? Absolutely disgraceful! All we ordered was the Brickalicious, which is a sort of French toast, and it didnt even come with the condensed milk, one of the ingredients thats supposed to be in it according to the lady we spoke with on the phone. And it wasnt even French toast either, just bread with cinnamon on it. If this is your guys standard for goodness and you have absolutely no problem with it, then you definitely deserve the negative reviews youve received on here, and the loss of business that is sure to follow from these reviews. 0/10, take your money and go someplace where the food is actually good, folks. This aint it, yall, and I would not recommend this joke of a business to anyone looking for quality, both in the food and customer service.

I like that they offer healthier options. I ordered a noodle bowl with ginger soy chicken. Very tiny, almost non-existent portions of chicken. Made up mostly of the cheaper ingredients and it wasnt very filling. Overpriced for what it is. The taste was good tho and the sauce it came with had a good taste. They charge 75 cents for paying with card, which I have never heard of at any restaurant. Would probably not return tho, too pricey for what you get.

Not being from the area, we decided to try this place out after reading a few reviews on April 2. We were blown away by the Great Quality overall ! The waiter, Kevin, did such an amazing job being patient and even giving us options he thought would fit our needs/wants. Sometimes trying a new place is overwhelming but you won t feel that here. To say the service is amazing is an understatement! The chef (I forgot to get the lady s name) even came up to us to see if the pho was up to par for the request we had done. Beyond friendly people with the perfect flavors in every bite of food! If you re looking for a mouthgasm at reasonable prices, you must try this! We live about 30 miles away from this place but we are on our way back as I m writing this simply because great things must be tasted again! Check out my pics and stop by and see this amazing place for yourself.
